Monumento/meta turistica
“Unquestionably the main landmark of the Žižkov district, at 216 m in height, it's also the tallest building in the city. With a 360° view, Prague is laid out before your eyes from the viewing platform at 93 m.”

Parco
“This park, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, has fountains and water cascades, lakes, pavilions, statues and a charming grotto, as well as a unique view of the city. The charming Vineyard Gazebo surrounded by large vineyards and the Grébovka Pavilion garden café, with its unique replica of the original historic bowling alley from the 1870s, offer pleasant places to sit.”

“Riegrovy sady is a pleasant park stretching between the Italská, Chopinova, Polská, and Vozová streets on the northern edge of Vinohrady, at the border with Žižkov. It is close to walk to from Vinohradská and Slavíkova streets and from the Jiřího z Poděbrad Square. The park is named after 19th-century Czech politician František Ladislav Rieger whose statue is the work of Josef Václav Myslbek from 1913. Riegrovy sady was established in 1904 - 1908 as an English-style public garden and included a popular observation terrace, which has since deteriorated and is not in use. You can take a stroll, give your dog a good run or have a pint of fresh Gambrinus beer in the large and very popular "pub””

Hill
“If you have enough time to wander around Prague, do not miss Vitkov Hill with its National Monument established on the top in 1950. You will mostly meet locals in this park as this spot is not the "must-see´s" on on tourist´s maps. The view from the top of the hill is beautiful and different to what you can see from the Prague Castle or Petrin Hill. You can also check out the giant statue of Jan Žižka on horseback - the largest bronze equestrian statue in the world. How to get there: Take tram 1,2,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,14,15,16,24,25 or 91,92,93. Nearest stop is Ohrada, plus 15 minutes walking Entrance: Free”

“An extensive and rugged park on the hill between Vítkov Hill and the Olšany cemeteries. If you climb to the top, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful view of Prague. At Parukářka Park, you’ll find three children’s playgrounds, and parents can grab a snack at the nearby legendary underground pub or at the original bar with garden in front of the entrance to the bomb shelter, where an 11 m high climbing wall was built in the stairwell. You’ll also find the Cold War Museum here.”

“Simply the best bread in town. I prefer the 80% ray bread, but basically everything you buy there is top. They make it just in front of you. ”

Cocktail bar

“That’s the problem with drinking, I thought, as I poured myself a drink. If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.“ And with that Bukowski quote from Women, you can see why there are always several bar flies buzzing around: what else is there to do in bar-situated Žižkov? Drink. You drink till the streets wind even more. You drink until people become interesting. Friday and Saturdays you’ll find yourself packed in, swimming in cocktails. ”

Cinema
“Smack dab in the gritty part of Žižkov, you will find this gem of a movie theater, which opened originally in 1933! It mainly focuses on independent, artsy films and each month shows around 35 different titles. They often host various film festivals and they even sponsor a short film contest every year. And the movies they play are only half of the experience: they have a fabulous bar (non-smoking until 21:00) and an outdoor seating area in the summer. If you get hungry, there is a fast food stand where you can get all sorts of Czech, greasy treats. This truly is the best movie theater in Prague! ”

“This restaurant is located on the communications tower and reaches the sky. It is the highest located restaurant in Prague and you will see the entire Prague from the top. It is also little bit fancy and bit more expensive but it is a nice experience.”

Ristorante messicano
“There have been quite a few Mexican restaurants to appear and then disappear in Prague over the years. The majority of them were serving up Czexican, nothing really worth letting linger on your palate. Frustrated by this the guys at the soon to be Las Adelitas started a delivery service that took off and then morphed into the much loved Las Adelitas restaurant. In short, you can find here the best Mexican food in the golden city. Apart from authenticity – it is owned and run by Mexicans – prices are quite reasonable with most dishes for about 200 czk. If you’re really looking for a deal, pop in for lunch at one of their three locations (one is right off of Old Town Square), where you can taste their specialties for a meager 100-120 czk. Don’t forget to have a margarita and chat up their friendly, yes Mexican, staff. ”
