Bakewell is steeped in fascinating history; plenty to see and do, you can enjoy a day out visiting Derbyshire's jewel, Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall (Tudor Manor House) and the Monsal Trail is on your doorstep. The Bothy is perfect for you to explore both the White and Dark Peak.
The Bothy is perfectly situated on the edge of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District. Open plan living to include a fully fitted kitchen onto a lounge. Both the bedroom and en-suite are accessed via a spiral staircase. Tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, our own free-range eggs, bacon, along with preserves will be in your welcome basket. Please note The Bothy SLEEPS 2 PEOPLE ONLY, and is not suitable for children of any age.
The heart of the Peak District with outstanding walking, rock climbing and safe cycle trails. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall five minutes away by car. Eyam, the Plague Village, is a must see alongside the Blue John Caverns and the various dales.

2 Victoria Cottages is a cosy Grade ll listed former mill workers cottage. Set on the main road 200 yds from the centre of Bakewell, it is in a great location, just a short stroll from the town’s pubs, restaurants and shops. Located in the heart of the White Peak, this beautifully presented rural retreat provides a comfortable base, whether you’re looking to enjoy some fresh air and long country walks, conquer the highest peaks or simply to relax and unwind in a friendly village pub.
The cottage is arranged in a traditional two-up, two-down style and benefits from both a private courtyard garden adjacent to the kitchen and additional terraced seating area, with wonderful views overlooking the rooftops of Bakewell. The living area contains a comfortable sofa, dining area and FreeView TV. With a decorative fireplace and oak beams providing a cosy cottage feel, it is a relaxing space to retreat to, after a day out exploring the nearby walking and cycling trails. The country style kitchen includes everything you need for your stay, with a cooker/hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and good quality cutlery and kitchenware, as well as a variety of extras such as tea, coffee etc. The bedroom has a large king size bed, adorned with soft cosy duvet and white, quality, cotton bedlinen. The bedroom enjoys plenty of storage space and white towels are provided for use during your stay. The bathroom is partially tiled and contains a good quality, white bathroom suite with an elegant roll top bath and a separate enclosed power shower. In addition to its central location in the historical market town of Bakewell, 2 Victoria Cottages also benefits from its own off-road parking space.

A beautiful one bedroom Grade II Listed Georgian townhouse, ideal for couples, and only a few minutes level walk from the heart of Bakewell’s town centre. Laid out over 3 floors, the accommodation consists of ground floor kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room on the first floor and one double bedroom and luxury shower room on the second floor. Parking is also available for one small to medium car at the rear.
This townhouse has been lovingly renovated by us to create a spacious yet cosy ‘home from home’ for guests to enjoy whilst exploring all that the Peak District has to offer. On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen dining area including induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, washing machine, dishwasher, sink, kettle & toaster. Enjoy a home cooked meal or takeaway at the dining table or just relax in the cosy corner chair. There is a DAB digital radio with Bluetooth, a HIVE thermostat to easily control the central heating & plenty of space to hang coats and store shoes. Tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper are also provided. The first floor living room is lovely and light, with sofa, armchair and 40 inch smart TV. There is also a workspace if needed & a small selection of games. On the second floor the double bedroom offers a comfy double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, hanging rail, & a full length mirror. The adjacent shower room has a luxury walk in Grohe rain shower & heated towel rail. 100% cotton bedding & towels are provided. Each floor has USB points and WiFi is available for guests to log in to.
The pretty market town of Bakewell has plenty of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants as well as an indoor swimming pool, park area & library. A local outdoor market is held every Monday & a farmers market on the last Saturday of every month. Grab some fish ‘n’ chips & take a stroll along the River Wye, not forgetting to grab a Bakewell Pudding on your way home! No trip is complete without a visit to the famous historic houses of Chatsworth or Haddon Hall which are both only a few miles away. There are also lots of walks and cycle routes right on your doorstep including the Monsal Trail & heaps of activities in the area such as horse riding, canoeing and climbing for outdoor enthusiasts. Popular wedding venues including Thornbridge Hall in Ashford-in-the-Water & East Lodge in Rowsley are both less than a 10 minute drive away.

Mesne is a pretty stone cottage hidden away at the end of a quiet lane in the picturesque market town of Bakewell in the beautiful Peak District. The cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Bakewell, being only 10 minutes walk to the centre and situated in a peaceful setting with direct access from our garden to the Monsal Trail. Our cosy private annex offers a comfortable stay with a king size bed, a continental style breakfast and a warm welcome on your arrival.
The cottage, originally a railway workers home in the early 1900's, is now a comfortable, contemporary space to relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of the Peak District. Your accommodation is a beautifully presented annex attached to the cottage but completely private with its own entrance, private bathroom with shower and bedroom with king size bed and wonderfully sumptuous bedding. A continental style breakfast is included with a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and fridge for your convenience. There are chairs in the bedroom to relax whilst looking out onto the garden through a juliet balcony and weather permitting you are welcome to sit outdoors for breakfast or on the decking in the evenings, with a glass of wine, to watch the sun go down! Other facilities include a utility room for laundry, use of the garden, secure storage for cycles, TV and free Wi-Fi. We have direct private access from our garden to the Monsal Trail for both walking and cycling.
The beautiful market town of Bakewell, famous for the original Bakewell pudding, is located on the River Wye close to Haddon Hall, Chatsworth, both a short 5 minute drive away, the spa town of Buxton, the historic village of Eyam, the pretty village of Hathersage and Castleton with the famous Blue John Cavern. The annex is a perfect base for walking, cycling and climbing in the local areas.

Butts Cottage is a Grade II 19th Century Georgian cottage centrally located in the famous bustling market town of Bakewell in The Peak District National Park. A perfect base for walking, visiting stately homes including Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, cycling or just simply relax and enjoy the endless unspoilt countryside of The Peak District. Newly renovated and completed in September 2019, the cottage offers everything you need for either a few days away to enjoy Derbyshire or a longer visit.
Butts Cottage is a luxury cottage, recently restored and converted to a very high standard which is available as either a 1 or 2 bedroom property. There is a private courtyard area with table, chairs and barbeque where you can enjoy relaxing in the centre of Bakewell. You are minutes away from the centre of the town but it is lovely to sit outside on the private patio. Butts Cottage has accommodation on two floors. Fully equipped with free Wifi , Nespresso coffee machine, NutriBullet, dishwasher, electric wood-burning stove, Sony Smart HDR TV, DVD and Bluetooth Speaker. Selection of board games, jigsaws, DVD's and walking guides. The bedroom (1 x King sized bed) has a goose-down duvet, feather pillows & 100% cotton linen from The White Company. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, hand-basin & loo with a heated towel rail. Soft white fluffy towels and complimentary 'Au Lait' toiletries. Walk directly from your door into the historical town of Bakewell, the River Wye and beyond. Explore the Market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton, famous for its' annual Opera Festival. Derbyshire's jewel, Chatsworth House is just 15 minutes drive and the medieval Haddon Hall is just 10 minutes away. Plenty of secure storage for bikes in the garage. The cellar contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, iron and ironing board and plenty of storage. 4G mobile phone signal can be found with all major networks. Parking in the busy town of Bakewell isn't always easy! Because of this and I want my guests to have the best experience I am including in each booking a 'Visitor Car Parking Pass'. This is FREE for you during your visit. This enables you to park in any 'Long Stay Car Park' in Bakewell for as long as you want or any 'Short Stay Car Park' for either 2 or 4 hours depending on the car park. It also allows you to park for FREE in any Derbyshire Dales District Council Car Park while you are visiting Butts Cottage. So you won't have to find fiddly change, just simply leave the pass on your dashboard. You can travel to Matlock, Ashbourne, Buxton and beyond and wherever there is a Council Car Park you can leave your car. The above parking Short & Long Stay Car Park may be subject to parking regulations. Butts Cottage is on a private road and it is probably best to drop your luggage etc off and then either use the Pass and park your car in the Car Park or there are a few roads within 50m of Butts Cottage where you can leave your car. I will make sure the Car Park Pass is left ready for you and comprehensive instructions of where you can park.
There is so much to do in the area. You can do as much or as little as you like! Simply use Butts Cottage as a base and explore the beautiful Peak District National Park. From walking, stunning country houses, cosy pubs and opera in Buxton there is so much to see and do. I have left lots of leaflets in the cottage or if there is something you would like to know either contact the Tourist Office in Bakewell who are really helpful or get in touch with me. I have arranged with 3 excellent shops in Bakewell that if you contact them directly they will take your order and make sure that food or wine is waiting for you in the fridge. How nicer than to arrive at Butts Cottage with a bottle of wine in the fridge, local cheese, olives to graze on and then have bacon, locally made bread and all you need for the perfect breakfast the next morning. The delicatessen, wine merchant and butcher are all independent and the owners are passionate about providing great quality food and drink. I am thrilled that they are able to offer this service to my guests at no extra charge to you and upon booking I will email you all the contact details. All in the fridge or cupboard waiting for you!

Large bedroom with king size bed on the first floor of a stone built cottage hidden among trees, close to the Monsal Trail. Please note there are no self catering facilities. The property is a mid 20th century stone built cottage with original features including a cast iron enamel bath which due to its age is showing some staining. Guests have access to the front garden and are welcome to sit in the garden and have tea.
The Peak District National Park offers many opportunities for walking and cycling. There are lots of small villages to explore with pubs and restaurants and local food suppliers.

    Come and stay in a 3-storey mill cottage, a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre of Bakewell, where you’ll find a host of little shops and cafés, as well as puddings of course. One or two double bedrooms are available, one with a sink; then there’s a large shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Breakfast is provided and you’re welcome to make cups of tea or coffee at any time. There’s a pretty cottage garden, ideal for breakfast ‘al fresco’ on a sunny morning and storage for 2 bikes if needed.

Very quiet but ideally positioned to explore the beautiful Peak District. There is a bus stop nearby where you can access transport to Manchester and Sheffield. Ideal for families or couples. Highchair and travel cot available on request. A welcome pack will be provided on your arrival to get your stay of to a great start.
    This cottage which is full of character, yet homely, is only a minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful town of Bakewell. Having its own parking space for a small or medium is a rarity in this town. Alternative arrangements can be made for other vehicles.
    This is a quiet corner of Bakewell, with period housing. It however has shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Pamela includeva molti tocchi adorabili tra cui giocattoli per il nostro piccolo, una culla e cioccolatini e Prosecco per farci suonare nel nuovo anno !! Un soggiorno delizioso! Altamente raccomandato! La casa ha tre piani, quindi tieni a mente che dovrai stare tranquillo usando i passaggi.

Pamela è stata un'ospite meravigliosa e si è addirittura spinta a prestarci un vassoio per arrosti e una grande pentola per preparare il nostro pasto di Natale. Bakewell è una città meravigliosa da esplorare e ci sono molte fantastiche passeggiate nella zona. La mia famiglia e io abbiamo adorato le nostre vacanze di Natale trascorse lì e avremmo voluto rimanere più a lungo!

Il processo di noleggio è stato incredibilmente facile dalla prenotazione al check-in per il check-out e siamo stati molto grati per gli incantevoli tocchi di benvenuto lasciati da Pamela. The flat has one double bedroom, a further double bed settee in the lounge, a bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen. This is one of two identical flats available in the same block. Both flats were fully renovated and refurbished in July 2019. Overnight street parking can be found across the road on Bath Street or there are lots of pay car parks a short walk from the flat
    There is a secluded yard at the rear of the property with fixed seating and table. This area is ideal for portable barbecues - a lovely sun trap in the afternoons! IF FLAT 3A BAKEWELL IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DATES YOU’RE LOOKING FOR CHECK OUT THE LISTING FOR FLAT 3B - THEY’RE IDENTICAL!

    After spending a day exploring the Peaks, you are welcomed by the large comfy sofas and the warming log burner in this classic English country themed lounge.     Just a short walk down the hill you arrive at the bridge over the River Wye in the beautiful old market town of Bakewell.     Bakewell is a small market town (market day is Monday each week), with a range of independent shops. It also has a small supermarket (Co-op), and a convenience store (Spar) within easy walking distance of the property. Bakewell benefits from a number of restaurants and pubs which all serve food. It has a park (with play area for children), a riverside walk and a public indoor swimming pool. Bakewell hosts many events throughout the year and details of these can be found on town website. Bakewell also has an excellent visitors' centre, where help and advice can be obtained.

    Our charming ground floor apartment, with 2 double bedrooms, is perfectly positioned next to the River Wye in the very centre of Bakewell. All of the town's shops and facilities are only metres away! Its location is ideal for exploring the Peak National Park and its many attractions - Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, The Plague Village of Eyam, the Caverns at Castleton, the Monsal Trail and its famous viaduct.
    The living area has full sun on two sides from dawn till dusk, from where the river and the 'love locks' bridge can be seen, only a few metres away. The bedrooms face onto a quiet inner courtyard where you'll find a private undercover parking bay, essential in this very popular market town. The parking space is a standard size marked bay, and is one of a row of 4 equally sized spaces housed in a large stone-built garage but without doors. The dimensions: 2.3m height clearance x 2.4m wide x 5.5m long. If you arrive in 2 cars, we can provide a **free parking permit valid from 4pm - 11am for the town car parks which are a minute's walk away.     Station Farm at Hassop Station has undergone a full refurbishment, opening for bookings in August 2019. As part of the nearby Chatsworth Estate the Farmhouse is perfectly situated on the Monsal Trail at Hassop Station near Bakewell. Here at Hassop Station within 100 yards there is Hassop Station Cafe , gift & bookshop and the Monsal Trail Cycle hire & large car park. Bakewell is 1.5 miles away and can be access on foot/bike along the Monsal Trail a flat traffic free trail into town or by road.
    Room 2 is a large Super King /twin room with triple aspect, on the ground floor with a fabulous private bathroom with drench shower and slipper bath across the hallway. The triple aspect bedroom it is light and airy with Smart TV, WIFI , kettle & hairdryer.   • Beeley Cottage era adorabile, ideale per due. Era comodo e ben attrezzato. Faceva caldo e le strutture erano di altissimo livello. I panorami dal cottage erano bellissimi. Piccoli tocchi come la pinta di latte nel frigorifero erano molto apprezzati. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno.

    East Lodge is a two bed roomed cottage...sitting overlooking the meadow and river . It is five minutes walk across the meadow to the market town of Bakewell. Decor is traditional...wooden floor in sitting room, tiled kitchen floor and carpeted upstairs. All windows look out across the meadow. There is a paved garden to the front and a yard at the back with a shed suitable for bikes.
    East Lodge is a charming, beamed cottage. All of the rooms look out over the front of the house over the river and the meadow. It is a quiet, level stroll over the meadow into the delightful market town of Bakewell. The walk takes five minutes, which includes time to stop and watch the rainbow trout sunbathing in the shallows of the river!
    The cottage is a lodge at the end of an unused drive. There is another lodge the other side of the driveway where a lovely family live. They are both out at work. A gate directly infront of the cottage takes you into the meadow, where you can enjoy a short stroll that brings you out on the edge of the town on the old Bakewell Bridge. There are lots of little independent shops in the town...numerous pubs and coffee shops, and a co.op. Take a walk down by the river....plenty of trout to spot..or feed the ducks. Every Monday there is an excellent market in the town...good cheese...vegetables etc., worth a browse round. Nearby is Haddon Hall...which has a wonderful rose garden...and Chatsworth House is about 10 minutes away. Wonderful walks round the park and surrounding countryside. A great tea rooms at Edensor in the Park after a walk...lovely food. The Monsal Trail is 5 minutes away...a beautiful walk or cycle ride...spectacular views at Monsal Head...and very dark tunnels, only dimly lit...very spooky! Hassop Station ....by the trail is a brilliant stop for delicious food and coffee...and also sells cards...books etc. There is lots of information in the cottage about walks , places to eat etc.

Located opposite the church on North Church Street and minutes from the town centre, the house is a perfect base to explore the Peak National Park and Chatsworth House. There is a stunning garden with views over the Derbyshire countryside, and plenty of room to relax both inside and out.
    Ground floor – Open plan kitchen and snug. The kitchen has a gas oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a dining room next to the kitchen, with seating for six, utility room with washing machine and access to rear garden. First floor – Stairs to first floor where you have a double bedroom, living room with two 3-seater couches, TV, DVD player, and open fire. The main bathroom is also on this floor and has a roll top cast iron bath, sink and separate shower cubicle. Separate WC on this floor. Second floor – Stairs to the second floor, where you have a double bedroom and a twin bedroom available. The twin beds can also be turned into a King size bed if required, please make this request prior to arriving. PLEASE NOTE - changeover days are Fridays and Mondays so we offer week long breaks, 3 night weekend breaks (Fri-Mon), 4 night midweek breaks (Mon-Fri) or combinations of the two. In school holidays we only offer full weeks.
    Coulsden Cottage is a beautifully presented holiday cottage situated right in the centre of Bakewell with all the town amenities including many pubs, restaurants and shops directly on the doorstep. The cottage is a Grade II-listed building and has been totally renovated to provide the modern comforts of double glazing, central heating and a luxuriously appointed interior with satellite TV and unlimited wireless internet. There is flexible accommodation for up to six adults in three bedrooms and also the benefit of private off-road parking and a secluded courtyard garden area to the rear of the cottage.
    Bakewell is often referred to as the capital of the Peak District. It is a beautiful, small market town situated on the River Wye which is crossed by a 13th century 5-arched bridge and the skyline is punctured by the tall spire of the All Saints Parish Church. Bakewell is an active market town with livestock markets and a general market being held every Monday. Bakewell has all the facilites you would expect with a wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants, banks, parks and gardens etc. all within a few minutes level walk of Coulsden Cottage. Many visitors come to the Peak District for walking and Bakewell makes and ideal base with a wide range of footpaths accessable directly from the cottage.

A pochi passi da Bakewell (una passeggiata leggermente più lunga indietro - su per la ripida collina!) E molto facile raggiungere le attrazioni locali come Chatsworth House, Monsal Trail, Heights of Abraham, ecc. Molto pulito, con una cucina ben attrezzata, confortevole stanze e comodità extra fornite dal fuoco del gas. Torneremo!

  • Grande casetta nel cuore di Bakewell. Incredibile cucina e zona pranzo per serate accoglienti. Due camere da letto su due piani e un bagno enorme. La doccia fa rumore ma è fantastico altrimenti. Lockbox semplifica il check-in e il check-out. Ritornerei al 100%!

  • La casa di Jerome è una casa così calda, accogliente e adorabile. È un'ottima posizione per visitare la casa di Bakewell e Chatsworth. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato un delizioso vassoio di benvenuto con biscotti e tè e latte in frigo, che è stato un tocco molto gentile e accogliente. È a pochi passi da Bakewell e non abbiamo trovato la collina troppo faticosa. La casa è pulita e ordinata e ha tutto ciò che si desidera per una casa lontano da casa. Grazie Jerome, siamo stati benissimo.

    Station Farm at Hassop Station has undergone a full refurbishment, opening for bookings in August 2019. As part of the nearby Chatsworth Estate the Farmhouse is perfectly situated on the Monsal Trail at Hassop Station near Bakewell. Here at Hassop Station within 100 yards there is Hassop Station Cafe , gift & bookshop and the Monsal Trail Cycle hire & large car park. Bakewell is 1.5 miles away and can be access on foot/bike along the Monsal Trail a flat traffic free trail into town or by road.
    Room 5 is a large Super King /twin room on the first floor with private bathroom across the landing. A dual aspect bedroom it is light and airy with Smart TV, WIFI , kettle & hairdryer. There is a garden at the property which is shared by other guests featuring a lawn flower beds and outdoor seating. Each room is equipped with a mini fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, smart TV , table, wardrobe and drawers. These rooms are all on the First floor and only accessible via a staircase. Breakfast is available in our Hassop Station Cafe next to the Cycle Hire, where a table will be automatically reserved for you until 11am and it will be table service. Our breakfast menu is full & varied. After 11am you can still purchase breakfast, brunch lunch etc. but you will be required to order at the main till instead of table service. Our Cafe is open every day 8.30am - 5pm There are 5 other rooms in this property to rent on Airbnb.
    Please note Hassop Station Cafe & shops and the Monsal Trail Cycle Hire & PeakeBikes are open 362 days a year but do close on the 24th , 25th and 26th December 2019 & 2020

    Luxurious cottage in the heart of Bakewell. Property is located 2 min walking distance from town centre offering a range of town shops, restaurant and coffee shops. The area is very attractive for walking, cycling and visiting many local attractions - for example Chatsworth house, Haddon Hall and the Monsal trail. Large 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, reception room, large entry hall and little patio area. Suitable for families. High chair and Travel cot available upon request.
    The cottage is recently refurbished, fully self-contained holiday home. On your arrival you will receive nice treats from us. Kitchen/Diner: Dining table for 6, Smeg range oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, radio. Entrance Hallway/sitting room: sofa, family games, Wifi, library. Living Room: cosy large sofa, armchair, wood burning stove, Freeview TV, DVD, blankets. Bathroom: Bath with shower, WC, we provide towels for your stay. 3 bedrooms: 2 king size beds, 1 twin room. Each has own character with luxurious Harrison mattresses. Ironing board, high chair, baby travel cot on request, lots of extra storage space.
    We provide you a parking permit upon arrival, the permit parking is a 2minute walk from the cottage. There is a Costa Coffee shop and lots of independent coffee houses around the town centre which is also a 2 minute walk away. Our favourite restaurants are Fish & Chips, The Red Lion Public House or Piedaniels (all located 3 min walk from the cottage). There is a a beautiful walk along the river Wye suitable for little kids too.

    Butts Cottage is a Grade II 19th Century Georgian cottage centrally located in the famous bustling market town of Bakewell in The Peak District National Park. A perfect base for walking, visiting stately homes including Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, cycling or just simply relax and enjoy the endless unspoilt countryside of The Peak District. Newly renovated and completed in September 2019, the cottage offers everything you need for either a few days away to enjoy Derbyshire or a longer visit.
    Butts Cottage is a luxury cottage, recently restored and converted to a very high standard which is available as either a 1 or 2 bedroom property. There is a private courtyard area with table, chairs and barbeque where you can enjoy relaxing in the centre of Bakewell. You are minutes away from the centre of the town but it is lovely to sit outside on the private patio. Butts Cottage has accommodation on two floors. Fully equipped with free Wifi , Nespresso coffee machine, NutriBullet, dishwasher, electric wood-burning stove, Sony Smart HDR TV, DVD and Bluetooth Speaker. Selection of board games, jigsaws, DVD's and walking guides. The two bedrooms (1 x King sized and 1 x Double sized bed) have goose-down duvets, feather pillows & 100% cotton linen from The White Company. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, hand-basin & loo with a heated towel rail. Soft white fluffy towels and complimentary 'Au Lait' toiletries. Walk directly from your door into the historical town of Bakewell, the River Wye and beyond. Explore the Market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton, famous for its' annual Opera Festival. Derbyshire's jewel, Chatsworth House is just 15 minutes drive and the medieval Haddon Hall is just 10 minutes away. Plenty of secure storage for bikes in the garage. The cellar contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, iron and ironing board and plenty of storage. 4G mobile phone signal can be found with all major networks. Parking in the busy town of Bakewell isn't always easy! Because of this and I want my guests to have the best experience I am including in each booking a 'Visitor Car Parking Pass'. This is FREE for you during your visit. This enables you to park in any 'Long Stay Car Park' in Bakewell for as long as you want or any 'Short Stay Car Park' for either 2 or 4 hours depending on the car park. It also allows you to park for FREE in any Derbyshire Dales District Council Car Park while you are visiting Butts Cottage. So you won't have to find fiddly change, just simply leave the pass on your dashboard. You can travel to Matlock, Ashbourne, Buxton and beyond and wherever there is a Council Car Park you can leave your car. The above parking Short & Long Stay Car Park may be subject to parking regulations. Butts Cottage is on a private road and it is probably best to drop your luggage etc off and then either use the Pass and park your car in the Car Park or there are a few roads within 50m of Butts Cottage where you can leave your car. I will make sure the Car Park Pass is left ready for you and comprehensive instructions of where you can park.
    There is so much to do in the area. You can do as much or as little as you like! Simply use Butts Cottage as a base and explore the beautiful Peak District National Park. From walking, stunning country houses, cosy pubs and opera in Buxton there is so much to see and do. I have left lots of leaflets in the cottage or if there is something you would like to know either contact the Tourist Office in Bakewell who are really helpful or get in touch with me. I have arranged with 3 excellent shops in Bakewell that if you contact them directly they will take your order and make sure that food or wine is waiting for you in the fridge. How nicer than to arrive at Butts Cottage with a bottle of wine in the fridge, local cheese, olives to graze on and then have bacon, locally made bread and all you need for the perfect breakfast the next morning. The delicatessen, wine merchant and butcher are all independent and the owners are passionate about providing great quality food and drink. I am thrilled that they are able to offer this service to my guests at no extra charge to you and upon booking I will email you all the contact details. All in the fridge or cupboard waiting for you!
