You’ll love my place because of the peace and tranquillity and the whole outback Station experience staying in an Historic Monsignor Hawes designed building. Only privately owned residence in the world designed by Monsignor Hawes.
Our space is unique in the fact it was designed by Priest Architect Monsignor John Hawes who designed and built many churches and church buildings in the Midwest of Western Australia. Completed in 1917 this building is on the Heritage list and is an example of Inter War Architecture with strong Spanish influences. It has high decorative pressed metal ceilings and is made from locally quarried stone. Wide verandas wrap around 3 sides. There is a Tower and small chapel within the building. 3 guest rooms are available with two shared bathrooms. The dinning room is where all meals are served and is cosy in winter with the open fire. The large lounge has an open fire. Comfortable chairs, a library of books to read and board games to play. This is a place to come and disconnect for a while. There is no mobile coverage and we choose not to spoil our peace and tranquility with interruptions from the outside world via the Internet or television. If a break from the hustle and bustle of life is what you are after then this is the place for you.
