Case Vacanze a Llanrhystud

Appena prenotato a Llanrhystud

  • Fabulous stay in a fabulous place! Cottage had everything you would need! Hosts were very welcoming and there if we needed anything! Would recommend! Thank you!

  • Absolutely perfect weekend!! The most beautiful, remote location with a lovely roaring fire. So quiet and peaceful - exactly what we were looking for. We loved the quirky conversion, full of personality and extremely comfortable. Can't wait to come back :-)

  • We had a lovely stay at the cottage & saw some amazing scenery on near by walks...especially the secret beaches. Cameron, Jane & Bella made us feel at home throughout our 5 nights. Would definitely recommend to people visiting Wales.

  • Hosts were very friendly, beautiful place. Would have liked to have spent longer there. Cottage is large, full of character, in a beautiful setting. I stayed with 3 daughters. Perfect for a family.

  • Great accommodation and good location for nearby towns and attractions. Cameron and Jane were very welcoming and offered loads of ideas of where to go visit. Will be coming back at some stage :)

  • Lovely hosts and an absolutely beautiful place to stay would definitely recommend and stay again

    Paul2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our host Cameron and Bella (the dog) gave us a warm welcome on arrival and quickly showed us all the relevant buttons, switches and knobs. Cameron even found us a cafetiere on request. The apartment was much bigger than expected and tastefully kitted out in a way that just encouraged relaxation from squishy sofas to super soft blankets. Everywhere was clean and easy to use with an eclectic display of art and artefacts to amuse and intrigue. The sound system on the tv was great too. The galleried bed was comfy and shower hot and powerful. The setting is totally peaceful with the sounds, smells and sights of rural bliss. The stars at night are well worth just sitting and staring at as there is no light pollution at all. Jane and Cameron have also created a secluded seating area with flowers and herbs growing happily. We had a pleasant drink in the Black Lion with Cameron (thanks we owe you one!) as well as swimming in the sea at the local beach. We spent time in nearby Aberaron, Aberystwyth and on the beautiful Pen Bryn beach. I could seriously spend forever just sitting on Aberaron harbour watching the world go by. This weekend we were treated to the classic cars, buses and tractors heading up to the local show as well as Welsh Cobs , horses and ponies. Jane and Cameron's place gave us a wonderful relaxing space from which to explore and unwind. Thank you .

  • We had a wonderful stay in this lovely rustic cottage- it looked even better than in the pictures! Cameron, Jane and Bella the dog made us feel very relaxed and welcome and were extremely helpful. It was fantastic having a log burner and sleeping in the cosy crog loft on a really comfy bed. The kitchen was great too- really well equipped. We loved the nearby beach and stunning scenery and the stars looked amazing without any artificial light interfering! There were lots of places to visit nearby- Aberaeron and New Quay were our favourites. We would definitely return!

It is really a nice, convenient place: near the beach, has a gas station and convenience store nearby. It has a big kitchen and BBQ place, suitable for party. Hosts are very generous and kind. We have a very happy holiday here.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in the house. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. Having a second living room and shower room was a real bonus. Well stocked kitchen for home cooking. Plenty of storage space. Beds and sofas comfy which is great for relaxing. Lots of info on the local area. Amazing garage/ shop within a few minutes walk. A lovely beach a few minutes drive away and the added bonus of seeing red kites out of the windows each day. Despite being on a main road, the house is quiet. Justyn is an excellent host. Friendly and helpful.

My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
Easy access to Ceredigion coastal path. 10 miles to bustling harbour towns of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth. The hut is a handmade eco-friendly fusion of country charm and contemporary luxury, and contains everything you need for a relaxing break away: a full size double bed, wood burner, hot and cold running water, shower, flushing WC, tea making facilities. Set in an idyllic rural setting, we have frequent visits from a variety of birds including red kites, buzzards and jays. A superb spot for nature lovers and artists. Lighting is solar powered and the walls are insulated with sheep’s wool, helping to preserve the warmth from the wood-burning stove. The floor is re-claimed oak and all the ash is from local fallen trees. On arrival you will find; tea, coffee, milk, a fridge for your food, all necessary crockery and cutlery, hot water bottle, complimentary continental breakfast for your first morning and a complimentary basket of logs. There are also towels in the bathroom. The hut is located in a peaceful setting. Situated just a mile from the beach at Llanrhystud, you are surrounded by fields – sometimes with sheep - and the sound of our cockerel in the morning! Also on our smallholding there are dogs, cats and ducks. Peace and tranquillity surround you. There is minimal light pollution and the stars are easily visible on cloudless nights. Things for you to bring: Wellington boots – the grass around the hut is likely to be wet. Car - there are plenty of beaches and woodlands to explore in the area, many of which are not accessible by public transport. The tranquil, rural setting of the Shepherdess' Hut at Llanrhystud is the perfect place for a retreat, to escape from the pressures of daily life, regroup and recharge your batteries.
Easy access to the coastal village of Llanrhystud with its pub and village shop. 10 miles to bustling harbour towns of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth with great restaurants and interesting shops. Surfing at Aberarth, dolphin and seal watching trips from Newquay harbour. Beautiful rural location.
  • Had a great stay with my partner at the hut. Welcomed by the sheep on arrival, as well as Karen! Had everything we needed in the hut. Enjoyed a game of domino's by the fire in the evening. Then enjoyed a light breakfast of croissants and jam the following morning. Thank you Karen!

    Ryan2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you need in a little space! No electricity or charging points so bare that in mind. The kettle takes a long time but it is worth it for a loveley cuppa. Very cute bathroom and cozy bed. Looking at the stars was amazing . Very friendly owners and pets and lovely location. Plenty of places to eat in Aberystwyth and places to visit. Glamping at its best

    Rach2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the tucked away Shepherdess's cabin complete with chickens, sheep and beautiful and cozy quilts! We would absolutely book again!

    Nora2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • My mum and I stayed in the hut for one night while on tour in Wales. We really enjoyed the experience - having a beautiful field right on our doorstep. The hut is well equipped (everything has been thought of) and the decor is great. We would recommend a stay here for something a bit different.

    Andrea2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely for a peaceful and simple break with great access to the lovely shingle beaches and local harbour towns, especially New Quay.

    Steven2017-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The hut is like a tardis, far bigger than we had imagined and beautifully made and furnished - really cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing few days. Nice to wake up to a view of a field, even in the rain!

    Neil2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • The location is excellent for anyone walking the coast path as we were. Karen was a friendly and helpful host and the hut was cosy. VERY cosy for two, particularly with all our hiking gear!

    Laurie2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very enjoyable stay. The accommodation was very clean, well presented and just as described. There is plenty to do in the nearby area, I would highly recommend a visit.

  • Home from home, just the place to enjoy a restful overnight break. Close to the main road so very convenient also quiet and cosy room. Terris and Ken very welcoming and friendly offering me lots of local information as I asked for help with finding my way about. Lovely to feel the woody warmth of the woodstove and the place is delightfully decorated. Offered tea, evening meal and delicious breakfast of eggs from chickens in the garden.

  • As a lone walker, I really appreciated the warm welcome, cup of tea & chat with Terris & her grandaughter. The B&B is ideally situated off the coastal path, with shop & PO, large garage stores & excellent pub food within walking distance. Terris was very attentive & caring. Shared bathroom was not a problem.

Near Aberystwyth and Aberaeron, set in the village of Llanrhystud and surrounded by the countryside and coast, our home is a modern bungalow with an attractive landscaped garden. It features a luxury private bathroom with whirlpool bath and overhead shower, which exclusively serves our guest room, located directly opposite via a small hallway. The cosy guest room has a comfortable double bed, with quality linens, pillows and king sized duvet surrounded by two bedside, furnished with lamps. The room contains a triple wardrobe, with single wardrobe space free to hang your clothes, and also plenty of available drawer space, power points and heating. Equipment provided within the room includes a kettle, tea/coffee refreshments, a hairdryer and a first aid kit. Our guest room also has a lockable door, with key provision. Kathryn’s & Alex’s home is located in Llanrhystud. The locality is a quiet village, with a pub, The Black Lion, a large general store with fuel pumps, Post Office and Florist Shop. A ten minute drive away to the south is the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron, with quaint shops, pharmacy, cash-points, pubs and restaurants, including The Harbourmaster; a relaxed and friendly environment offering the best of good local produce food. There are plenty of walks and open spaces to enjoy in the area, including the Welsh coastal path, the Aberystwyth Promenade, the circular walk at Devils Bridge, the National Trusts ‘Llanerchaeron’ near Aberaeron and Ynyslas beach, near Borth. The Ystwyth Trail also offers walking and cycling trails through Ceredigion. We are also in a prime position to travel through Wales, en-route towards northern Snowdonia or southern Pembrokeshire. To the north, the seaside town Aberystwyth is a twenty minute drive away, with a combination of small and larger shops, hospital A&E, doctors, banks, and many bars and restaurants, including a favourite of ours, Le Figaro. Sunday lunch is a must as Le Figaro, as is booking! Aberystwyth also offers a family run cinema and the Arts Centre located at Aberyswyth University’s Penglais Campus, offering a variety of entertainment to include theatre, comedy and films. Aberystwyth’s Promenade has a pier with two nightclubs for varying ages. Also in the town is Rummers Wine Bar offering live band entertainment. • Since we visited Wales during summer holiday season, it wasn't easy to book a place to stay the same night. We were delighted to find Kath and Alex' listing and it exceeded our expectations. It's everything you need. We stayed two nights. Comfy bed, warm and welcoming, two great and friendly cats, living room space with TV, garden area, whirlpool bathtub, lovely continental breakfast... perhaps we were spoiled, but Kathryn even made homemade bread! I highly recommend this place, and will happily return.

    Chris2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • While attending a wedding close by, me and my partner spent two nights with Kathryn and Alex and their beautiful cats. After a long drive we were welcomed and immediately felt at home. Kathryn and Alex are both great hosts who will happily go the extra mile to ensure a lovely stay. Every little detail had been thought out and we honestly could not have asked for more. It was great getting to know them. Would definitely recommend!

  • Lovely location, house near a stream and field of cattle. Narrow road with little traffic. Central for our visit between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth. Well appointed house. Did not like bathroom downstairs; while bedrooms were upstairs and staircase was a bit narrow. Thank goodness for helpful neighbours as the host does not reside here.

Sally was very friendly and helpful even letting us know about the possibility of road works occurring during our stay. The neighbours were really friendly and helpful the local pub does a lovely Sunday roast. Would highly recomend and would stay here again if/when I plan to holiday in wales again.

  • Loved this lil cottage perfect location for us as we was visiting family in the village! Also great location to Aberystwyth Aberearon new Quay , Loved the river round the back of the cottage and lovely garden! Bit of disruption with diversion but was informed before hand and not hosts fault! Will defiantly be returning hopefully next year.

  • A quaint, character cottage very clean with all mod cons. Ideally situated to explore West Wales. A log burner in the fireplace which is lovely however, get your logs and firelighters on the way in from the petrol station on the main road. Thoroughly recommend the food at the Black Lion Public House again on the main road.

    Sharon2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quiet spot in wooded valley only a short distance from village and within striking distance of Aberystwyth. The house has everything you need, comfortable and warm. Has a nice wee garden too although too late in the year to enjoy it! Great base to explore coast of Ceredigion and inland over the Cambrian Mts...and kites galore if you are keen to birdwatch. The feeding station near Pontarywd was fantastic, 150 to 200 birds!

At Llanrhystud you can join the Wales coastal path or just enjoy the beaches, cliffs and rock pools that stretch in either direction. The picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron lies to the south and the university town of Aberystwyth to the north. Travel inland and explore Mynydd Bach, ‘the Little Mountains’ with their wooded valleys, fast flowing rivers, tranquil lakes and internationally important ecological sites like Tregaron Bog and the historically and architecturally important sites at Strata Florida, Hafod and Llanerchaeron.
  • We didn't meet the host himself but were met by Barbara who was very friendly and showed us how everything worked and where everything was. She was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We booked the cottage last minute (the day before) for a couple of nights but loved it so much we asked to stay another night. In both instances we had an immediate response and were accommodated without fuss. David & Barbara were great hosts, there to show us around and pass on some great suggestions and local knowledge. The cottage was exactly as described; cosy, clean, and really well finished. It's situated in a great spot and makes you feel you're in a world of your own. We will be back.

  • Very nice reception at arrival in this lovely location. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful! We sought a retreat from the busy workdays of young professionals and that is exactly what we got. The location might look remote but it was easy to get around in the surrounding area. This is absolutely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, calm place to stay in a most beautiful part of Wales.

    Mats2016-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Just Amazing! stunning cottage on top of a welsh hill with stunning views. We arrived as a family of 4 and the house had everything we need. The hosts were lovely and even brought us some toys for our boys to play. A huge bonus point for me was a proper cot for my son not a travel cot. Secluded location but anything you would need was in a town nearby so perfect for a quiet break.

  • Didn't get to make Rodric but Barbara is a very lovely lady to meet and makes an excellent host. Every little detail was paid attention to. I am very impressed by their love for nature. Staying their was so much fun and will definitely return.

  • David and Barbara were perfect hosts. They we're always happy to help with suggestions of places to shops, restaurants and places to visit and the cottage and farm are probably one of the most peaceful and tranquil places I have visited, not to mention the stunning views. I would recommend this to anyone looking to unwind and relax

  • We loved our stay at Stephanie's bed and breakfast. Everything was superb, as good as it gets - super friendly hosts, a large bedroom with a comfy bed, a spotless, spacious bathroom and a delicious cooked breakfast. We will be thinking of excuses to drive up the west coast again so that we can return.

    Chris2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful rural setting in a historic home that once was a mill. If you love peace and quiet, you'll adore this place. The rooms were spotless and Stephanie was the most amazing host and went out of her way to cook a huge farm breakfast for us.

  • I can’t recommend this location enough – a peaceful, relaxing haven in the countryside, but not far from the restaurants of Aberystwyth or the quaint charms of Aberaeron. Stephanie and Tony were perfects hosts (delicious breakfast - with fresh homemade bread!).

  • Fantastic! The place is lovely, very tidy and clean - high quality, comfy and well designed interiors plus a great surrounding as well. Stephanie is very nice and helpful and makes a smashing breakfast on top of everything.

  • What a great stay at Stephanie's lovely cottage. Such a quaint stone mill and comfy bed! Stephanie prepared us a delicious full English breakfast to order and took care of our every need. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Lovely small place to stay! Enough for 4 people. Very quiet location but close to local tourist spots e.g. New Quay, aberaeron and Aberystwyth. Keith was lovely and the place was adequately equipped

  • This is a lovely place to stay and was an ideal and comfortable base for the 5 of us (2 Adults & 3 teenage children) to explore the Welsh coast line from Aberystwyth to Cardigan Bay. Keith was a great host, providing some essentials (milk, juice, bread etc) on arrival and was on hand should we have needed him. He was lovely with the children & showed us his horses, chickens etc. The house was clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable. One very minor inconvenience was that we did struggle to get a WiFi signal. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly come back again.

    Andrea2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Keith is a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Keith provided a great welcome pack and was so kind to ourselves and our children introducing them to the animals on his property. He provided us with lots of useful information leading up to and during our trip regarding the surrounding area. Would highly recommend him as a host.

    Craig2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Keith is a delightful host. A wonderful welcome and very thoughtful too. Leaving beer, milk, bread and lovely freshly laid eggs in the fridge. Beautiful outlook.

  • Keith - Friendly, easy to communicate with and very relaxed whilst still being helpful. The accommodation - all slept well, very well set up for dog owners!! Nice grounds and well thought out space. Perfect for what I needed (place for my family to stay for my graduation ceremony) but I can also see it would be a fantastic holiday place for a week or so to anyone. Lots of brochures and local area info available (not used as I know the area, but I would like to point out it was available).

    Eliot2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Many thanks Keith and all the people who welcomed us in Wales! Our staying was marvellous. On arrival we found a welcome basket with some bread, apples and biscuits and in the fridge some milk and some juice. The house is well equipped, clean and very confortable. The position is perfect for people who love the countryside, but near to lovely towns on the seaside too (Aberystwith and Aberaeron). A perfect place for our perfect Welsh holiday from Italy!

  • Cozy room in the heart of rural Wales. Very clean & warm. Loved the details & decor such as the tapestry at the end of the bed. Some spaces just have a warm fuzzy feeling and this is one...a great room to share with a loved one or as a wholesome retreat. The hosts come across as people with a deep connection to nature. Super value, I’ll definitely be back :-)

  • We had a lovely stay at Margaret and Ifor's house. After a fairly long journey the little welcome pack was a godsend. The house was clean, tidy and well appointed throughout. We were able to settle in very quickly which meant we were soon able to enjoy the village and surrounding area. We were a family of 5 adults and at no point were we cramped or short for space. All round great home away from home, we'll definitely keep it in mind next time we stay in the area

  • This is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. This was our second visit and won't be our last. Clean, well equipped and with a great welcome pack. This time it contained the best Welsh Cakes we've ever tasted.

  • A lovely base to travel to other places. Unfortunately the beach was a let down, stoney and infested with shrimps?! Jumping all over you. So sat above the beach on benches the views and sunset were wonderful though . There are some fantastic beaches nearby however such as Penryn and New quay. Provisions were left which were great especially as I forgot milk in my shopping. The garden is very overlooked from the footpath and the next door industrial building. However great for badminton. The beds were uncomfortable for us I'm afraid, however the property is clean with good facilities. A problem with hot water made having a bath difficult but a great shower. On reading a previous review I took a large wok and a very large saucepan which are needed for 6 people. You really need an extra frying pan though. Great chip shop and local store 2 mins walk away. Everyone is friendly including the hosts.

You will have to take your own towels and hand towels as they are not provided. Upon arrival we had a welcome pack with Welsh cakes which was very much appreciated after such a long drive. All in all it was a wonderful stay we really enjoyed ourselves, we hope to be back again.

  • Well, its got 3 bedrooms, lots of space, and is a small walk to a beach with rock pools, paddling (not swimming unless you are extremely proficient, a small play park and football pitch and nice church all close by with beautiful scenery. We didnt find any fossils but we found a huge jellyfish! kids loved it; internet was good for the 1 rainy day; pub up the road was very good, food and beer and staff/ landlord all nice, shop adequate for provisions (100yrds away) and in all good access to the rest of Ceredigion; thanks to Ifor and Margaret for a lovely stay - I recommend btw my kids are 5 and 6 and it was great for them

    David2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at the villa. If anything the photos don't quite do the place justice (in that it was actually a bit nicer than I thought it would be). Ifor was great with the communication and even arranged a high chair for us when I queried whether there was one before we arrived. Margaret popped round to check in on our second day and she was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway, in the peaceful Welsh countryside, situated just up the road from the harbour town of Aberaeron which has all you need for a seaside holiday. The house was spotless and really comfortable. It was really quiet so we both had a great night’s sleep. Communications with our hosts were great. Always got a quick and friendly response. I’d recommend the house to anyone. It’s like a tardis inside! Great kitchen and a cosy lounge.

  • We stayed at Alun and Angharad's house for one night whist we took our daughter to Aberystwyth University. Communication with Angharad was excellent and was very easy and personable. Her instructions were very easy to understand. The house is really lovely and well cared for and was immaculately tidy and clean. Both bedrooms are a good size and both showers were really powerful with plenty of hot water. I couldn't recommend the house more highly. The location was great for us being not far out of Aberystwyth but it would be perfect for a longer stay if you were wishing to explore any of the many beautiful towns along this part of the Welsh coastline. Many thanks Phil, Rachel and Lucas

The cottage is perfect for a rural getaway with it being located in its own, isolated setting but within walking distance of a nearby town and the beach. Ideal for small groups looking for a countryside getaway. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is really well furnished to be able to relax as if it were your own. Hannah was really helpful in the lead-up to our stay providing general advice and answering any questions we had. Definitely recommended and we would love to stay again.

  • Hannah was a wonderful host. She keep in touch really well before our trip and gave us very good direction to this house that is very remote. The house is beautiful and very clean. If anything the pictures do not do it justice. I was very happy to stay there and wished we had booked more days! If you are looking for a house for 4-8 people I highly recommend staying here. The grounds were beautiful and had a nice little pond and sheep around. It is a very easy 5 min drive to the sea and the choppy down the road is wonderful. This cottage is a wonderful place to relax. I think we will be back.

We are located nine miles south of Aberystwyth, three miles from the coast in a secluded country setting. We look forward to welcoming you to our rural idyll. Hugh and Trisha.
Suite 2 at the Old Barn is a spacious double on the first floor with an en suite shower. It also has a broad landing with a rocking chair, an antique writing desk, comfortable seating and children’s toys. A cot is available on request. The room is provided with crisp cotton bedding, bathrobes, generous towels, hairdryer and bathroom accessories as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Television is available downstairs in the living room and we have WiFi. The mobile (cell phone) signal around here is very patchy.
We are in farming country three miles from the sea and handy for the Cardigan Bay coast. Attractions include Aberystwyth, which has the National Library, exhibitions, arts and lots of restaurants; Newquay, traditional seaside village plus dolphin spotting, and Aberaeron, Regency harbour town with plenty of pubs and eating places. There is a National Trust property - Llanerchaeron - four miles east of Aberaeron. Llanrhystud itself has a pebbly beach with lovely sand and rock pools at low tide, a pub, post office and shop, small supermarket, golf course and country club with restaurant. It is one of the stopping off points on the Ceredigion Coastal Path. We enjoy a rich wildlife, spectacular highlight of which is the Red Kite. Daily feedings take place at Nant y Arian east of Aberystwyth. For bird lovers, the murmuration of starlings in Aberystwyth is an event not to be missed!
  • Oh gorgeous beautiful place, lovely comfy bed, lovely breakfast, all fresh fruit, homemade rolls, all local or homegrown.....stunning.

  • Hugh and Trisha were not only welcoming, but generously shared their evening with us talking about a wide range of topics. Their home is gorgeous, the setting is stunningly pretty, set far down a country lane (I only wish we had time to explore a bit), and the room was equally beautiful. Breakfast - a real treat. [I'm running out of adjectives here.] Hugh takes his hosting responsibilities quite seriously. Our stay was a highlight of our hiking trip.

  • This was, quite simply, the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The luxurious accommodation itself, the wonderful surroundings, the welcome and care, the glorious breakfast where everything was homemade, the books, the rocking chair - all incomparable.

  • Hugh went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable really felt welcomed, like a home away from home, fresh baked bread, biscuits, bread rolls all made by Hugh and fruit compote for breakfast. Bed was really comfortable and room was spacious with fluffy towels and nice hot shower. We were able to navigate the next leg of our journey thanks to Trisha"s expert map reading thanks Trisha we got lost. Thank you again

3 bedroom Welsh cottage set in the most peaceful location with breath-taking views. Great for couples and families. 15mins from the coast. Log burner and walks from the doorstep. High standard. Fully equipped, logs, towels and bedding are included.
  • Stunning place, lovely for families wanting to get away from it all. Me, my wife, and 2 boys (5 & 1) had a fantastic 2 nights stay here and it was exactly what we needed. We wanted a place that was peaceful, cosy, clean, home from home, and in addition have plenty for the boys to do, and Sioneds place ticked all the boxes and more. What's not to love for the boys wide open outdoor spaces, garden with loads to do, and if the boys are happy, we're happy. Not to mention the stunning views. Place was plenty big enough for our family, had everything we needed, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend to friends and family!!

  • This is an amazingly beautiful place, very well appointed with everything you should need. Sparklingly clean with wonderful touches that just make it feel like a home thats well loved. The views from the garden are gorgeous, and it really is off the beaten track. Such a relaxing place to stay. Just wish we'd had a longer stay. Will be coming back again. Thank you Sioned for making it an awesome experience.

  • This was a fab cottage tasteful decor and excellent attention to detail on everything. Great touch with the welcome hamper. A very comfortable stay great hosts. Property off the beaten track so very quiet just how we like it, but close enough to all local attractions. Splendid country side views. This is a gem of a place to stay and can not really fault anything. Lovely log burner (with bundant supply of logs and kindling) was just the thing for the cool Easter nights while we were there, making the cottage very cosy and warm in the evening. We will be returning for sure.

  • Sioned was a fantastic host! She was really accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Communication was excellent & she gave us all the information we could have possibly needed to make our stay a good one. The cottage was perfect, immaculately clean & so well decorated with all the amenities you could need! Would highly recommend to everyone! Thank you!

  • Had a brilliant weekend with my friends and our 4 legged friend, probably the most beautiful place I've ever stayed at, the cottage is better than in pictures, the views are amazing. Loved every bit about it, as there's not very good signal we also had phone free weekend which was a blessing. I suggest it to anyone, I'm definitely coming back next year but this time for a whole week.

  • An absolutely gorgeous cottage in a fantastic location. Beautifully equipped with a log burner in a spacious living room, three lovely bedrooms, utility room with washing machine, kitchen and upstairs bathroom. There's a huge rear garden with a swing set, football net and a Wendy house which is big enough for a small child or two to play in. The area is very quiet with only the sheep and the cows to disturb the peace. We found it a perfect weekend retreat for our young family. We would definitely visit again and we'd love to stay for a whole week next time.

  • This is a wonderful cottage, in a beautiful setting. The scenery is amazing. The cottage is beautifully furnished and equiped to the highest standard. Ideal for families, couples or individuals looking to escape the hustle and bustle. Close to Aberystwyth. Looking forward to my next visit.

  • You cannot go wrong at all in selecting this place for a break from city. The best place to stay in wales. Leave the hotels behind because you wont get such wonderful hosts like Collen and Grizz. Suberb rooms and wonderful pets. Do not forget to ask an extra chocolate cake, its worth it!!! Shame we had only 2 nights to stay but we will be back soon.. will miss Bob!!

  • We had a very enjoyable stay with Colleen an Griz, it was like visiting long lost friends. Everything was so comfortable and perfect. The place was easy to find and the surrounds peaceful. Suggestions on sightseeing were helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room nice and private. Thank you for sharing your place

    Colin2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Colleen and Griz are such lovely honest people, and warmly embraced us into their home and lifestyle. The farm atmosphere is very appealing and it's great to see how they have transformed this old house into an inviting BnB. Very well organised, and lovely people.

    Laurie2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • I visited Colleen's B&B with one of my friend, who had come from India. The very first impression of the place, from the car was - this is 'Home'. Yes the place gives you a sense of home with all facility of a modern Hotel. We were warmly received by Colleen and her Husband. The chocolate cake served to us on arrival was a gem :)) in taste, perfect soft and chocolatey :)) They are nice host and give you enough company at the same time you had your own time too. The cottage is in a farm set-up, which was really nice, and I plan to visit the place again in summer. And yes. I forgot to mention about the big English Breakfast in the morning :-)) home cooked in Colleen's own kitchen. You have plenty of your own choice to choose from,
