“Great Australian history! Has some interesting information regarding everybody's favourite .... the Tasmanian Tiger, including video footage! Loads of information about our Aboriginal past and plenty for the children to get involved in! Free entry with a great cafe offering tasty food. The staff are friendly and approachable. The Planetarium is well worth the price of a ticket! You wont be sorry you made the effort to visit : )”

“Built in 1891 at Royal Park on Wellington St, stands Australia's largest regional Museum. Now a dedicated art gallery, housing some great collections, including, the colonial artworks of John Glover. There's a great display of Aboriginal artwork and a Chinese/Tasmanian display offering insights into the Chinese influence in Tasmania. The staff are well informed and friendly. Expect to spend some quality time here! Preferable to the Hobart Museum : ) ”

“Difficult one to categorise! The zip-line ride through the treetops is definite entertainment, along with the tree ropes course and segway tours. However, the nature and parkland in the surrounding area is relaxing and inspiring. Your children will love it and so will you!
