Dalle visite turistiche ai tesori nascosti, scopri cosa rende unica la città con l'aiuto delle persone del luogo che la conoscono meglio.
Hindu Temple
“The view is breathtaking. At low tide, you can walk out to the temple but the view of the temple at high tide is still worth seeing. Sunset is the peak time to go and this is very crowded. You have to get through an avenue of tourist shops offering all the usual Bali products to get to the temple. There is even a couple of snakes on offer for a photo opportunity.”

“An outstanding golf course. A bit of a drive from the villa, but well worth the effort if golf is your thing. If you are up this way for golf it is worth augmenting the visit to take in Tanah Lot temple as well, particularly for sunset.”

“Conveniently located right at By Pass Tanah Lot. When you step into this 'warung' all you see are rice paddies, a classic wooden gazebo with great natural styling and a new garden area with a pool. The menu is a mix of local and western dishes, all yummy and many healthy choices like Tuna Poke Bowl, Salad Rolls, Smoothies as well as pizza, curries and burgers. Our favourites are the Tuna Steak, Fresh Fish Tacos and Green Quinoa Salad with Feta. The kids love their pizza and you cannot go wrong with the local dishes either. Worthwhile to mention is also the coffee -it's excellent! An evergreen for us and convenient 10 min drive from the villa.”

“Probably Bali’s most iconic dish, babi guling (also known as suckling pig) is one nose-to-tail delicacy that you have to try. It’s usually served with rice, pork sausage, sayur urap (a vegetable salad in coconut chilli dressing), huge cuts of spice-rubbed, spit-roasted meat and the crispiest, crunchiest and most scrumptiously flavoured skin – all of which has been cooked to tender-perfection from hours upon hours of slow-roasting. YUM.”
