“This place opened in 1914 and is the oldest and closest movie theater to where the world’s first movie « Sortie d’usine » was ever made in 1895 by les frères lumières! (Go check out my article about the lumière festival in Lyon). Historic place if you are a movie lover. This iconic place was saved just in time from disappearing a few years ago. They also have a good selection of movies both independent and mainstream. ”
