“Commander's Palace, nestled in the middle of the tree-lined Garden District, has been a New Orleans landmark since 1893. Known for the award-winning quality of its food and its convivial atmosphere, the history of this famous restaurant offers a glimpse into New Orleans' storied past and has been the go-to destination for Haute Creole cuisine and whimsical Louisiana charm. The winner of seven James Beard Foundation Awards, Commander's Palace has evolved into a culinary legend. Now under the watchful eye of co-proprietors Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan, the Brennan family's dedication to perfection has never wavered. A steady parade of renowned chefs - Emeril Lagasse, Paul Prudhomme, Jamie Shannon, and now Tory McPhail - have made Commander's Palace the world-class restaurant what it is today and its leading-edge Haute Creole cuisine reflects the best of the city.”

“This restaurant has perfected the donut, and not just any kind of donut. Each morning the owners create 6 new donut flavors (look them up on Instagram for a tease). If you aren’t in the mood for a decadent donut, try one of their delicious sliders (they are always creating something new) or iced coffee. You can’t go wrong at this fun place. Favorites: Any donut, Fried chicken slider, iced coffee ”

“Located on the corner of Magazine and Pleasant Streets in the heart of New Orleans' famous Garden District and Magazine Street entertainment district, The Bulldog offers one of the best dog-friendly patios in town, complete with a large-screen TV and our famous beer-tap fountain. Enjoy any of 48 fine draft beers (mostly craft and local) or 100+ bottled beers along with a full selection of cocktails and our award-winning pub fare. As the original (and nationally recognized) location, a visit to New Orleans isn't complete without a visit to The Bulldog-Uptown. “The restaurant was formerly a neighborhood grocery store that was beautifully converted into one of the best French restaurants in the city. The head chef, Chef Deviller, was recently on Top Chef, and the food in the restaurant is as good as you would guess. Favorites: Blue Crab Beignets; Pan Roasted Beef Tenderloin ”

“Large sportsbar and ground zero for St Patrick's Day celebrations Uptown. Full bar and decent beer selection. Kitchen. In season, don't miss the crawfish truck parked outside and the raw oyster shucker out front. Trivia: the sign & name was borrowed from a previous 1930's bar in same location. Current operator Jeff had the sign in his shed and finally got to restore and hang it when he had the opportunity to lease the space. ”
