  • The cleanliess was great. Breakfast was excellent, fresh bread and coffee every day. Homemade jams, fresh fruit and great advice about the environment. We would definitely come back again.

  • Well received, nice and cosy. Very hospitable.

    Balaram2014-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Konstantina and Tim were in contact with us from our initial booking and kept in contact leading up to our arrival. The welcoming pot of tea was very much appreciated! We were well looked after and they gave us advice re sightseeing in the Cotswolds.

    Noel2015-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great one night stopover. Lovely location and super breakfast.

    Joe2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed with Tim and Konstantina near the end of a long trip and it was a geat place to get out of the city for a little peace. They were very accommodating and were able to take us a day early because we had misjudged our arrival date. The house is beautiful, the food was fantastic, the hosts were friendly and the girls were adorable. Can't recommend these guys enough!

    Mike2014-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect short stay for us. Konstantina and Tim are very friendly and helpful hosts. The breakfasts were excellent and an added dinner was delicious home cooking at a very modest charge. The home is historic, which also means tall guests need to be be mindful of their heads, pack a power board because power points are few and the room is squeezy. The bed was comfortable and the location is wonderfully quiet. Chipping Campden is an excellent village but it is a few kilometers away. Overall, really great value and strongly recommended.

    Ken2014-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Konstantina was unable to be home for my stay, but the hostesses that she left in her place were warm, charming, gracious, and welcoming! The house itself is comfortable and lovely-a wonderful place to return to after a day of sight-seeing. I would recommend this listing to anyone.

Newly refurbished beautiful Cotswold Cottage set in the picturesque village of Ilmington. The award winning Howard Arms pub is right on the doorstep and there is stunning scenery to be enjoyed from the countless walks over the Ilmington Downs. Just 8 miles from Stratford upon Avon.
There are 2 pubs within walking distance. 1 is only 100 metres away. Well stocked village shop that also has a cafe opening times in Cottage handbook.
  • Very nice home.

  • We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. It was a very relaxing place to be, with plenty to do in the house and nearby. There is a nice 2 hours walk you can do from the front door, and two great pubs are in walking distance. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, the patio area outside is great for having drinks in the summer and there is a lovely fireplace which would be great for winter evenings. Would definitely like to come back again!

    Antonia2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • A sweet and characterful cottage in a lovely village. Just a few yards from an excellent pub with good food (one of 2 in village). A good base for the northern end of the Cotswolds and/or Stratford. Lowish ceilings (mostly beams and doorways) - could be awkward for anyone above say 6'3".

    Don2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, this place is so luxurious and beautiful. The attention to detail is outstanding and everything has been thought of. Would highly recommend a stay at the cottage. 15 minutes away from Stratford upon Avon where we went to visit Shakespeare's stoping ground. Perfect!!

    Julie2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at the Cottage! A lot of care & detail went into the space. Everything is gorgeous, and the space worked well for our family. We enjoyed cozy nights by the wood stove, and lovely walks and explorations by day. Beckie is a wonderful host!

    Dan2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is an absolute gem! Beautifully appointed throughout it is like a boutique hotel in the heart of a Cotswolds village. Cosy and well located near the local pub, we had a lovely winter stay and couldn't recommend this lovely property highly enough.

    Rory2017-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • Cottage is lovely in a nice and convenient location, with easy access to Stratford Upon Avon. Could have easily stayed longer. Beckie was a helpful and thoughtful host. We had a lovely weekend and were sad to leave.

Welcome to July Cottage, brought to you exclusively by Character Cottages, local specialists in stylish, Cotswold holiday rentals. July Cottage is a stunning, traditional Cotswold stone cottage, located in the heart of the picture postcard village of Ilmington, in the north-east corner of the Cotswolds. Despite being a small, peaceful village, Ilmington is fortunate to have two pubs, a village shop and a lovely Norman church. The village is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and is only five miles away from the famous Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden and seven miles away from Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Other places, such as Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle are easily accessible from Ilmington, as are the many beautiful market towns and villages of the Cotswolds. Important Customer Notice: - Weeks: we can only accept week long bookings commencing on a Monday and Friday - Short Breaks: we can only accept short breaks that start on a Friday or Monday - Special Events: Christmas, New Year and the Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival are Special Events, with bookings typically limited to weeks only from a specific start day If your dates don’t appear to fit, then please click Contact Host below to find out what options may exist for you!
July Cottage is accessed via its front garden. The front door opens into a small porch, which then opens into a large entrance hall, with oak beams and an oak floor. The following rooms are on the ground floor: Living room: A beautiful, character filled room, with oak beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a beautiful fireplace, with a wood burning stove. There is comfy seating for five and a flatscreen TV with BT TV, BT Sport and a DVD player; Kitchen: The newly installed galley style kitchen is beautifully presented and contains an electric cooker, four ring electric hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster; Dining room: This lovely dual aspect room has two sets of French doors and opens directly into the kitchen. There is a dining table with comfy seating for six. Stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1: At the front of the cottage, looking out towards the village church, this room contains a double bed; Bedroom 2: Looking out to the side of the cottage, this room also contains a double bed; Bedroom 3: Another room looking out towards the village church, which contains a single bed; Family bathroom: Fully refurbished, the bathroom contains a bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin and a heated towel rail. To the front and side of the cottage is a lovely, enclosed garden, with an outdoor table and seating, and a charcoal barbecue during the warmer months of the year. There is also an outbuilding, which contains a washing machine, available by prior arrangement. Quiet street parking is available directly outside the cottage.
The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.
  • This is a truly beautiful property absolutely bursting with character.. so comfortable and stylish it was a fantastic base from which to explore the rest of the cotswolds.. I'd highly recommend this place.

  • We most the most amazing time on our night away ,we wished we could have stayed for longer! The apartment is stunning and Antonia goes to town on all of the fine details, never have I stayed somewhere that goes to as much effort as Antonia had done.We had beautiful cookies left for us,juices and jams in the fridge in the most gorgeous kilner storage jars, biscuits left by the side of the bed and amazing white company bedding which made our evenings sleep so dreamy! The grounds of the apartment are stunning and are such a treat to walk around and explore!Check in and check out was made super easy and we even got a special birthday balloon for our daughter's first birthday on departure!I will definitely be booking to stay here again,I think we definitely have found a little piece of heaven in Admington! Thanks for everything Antonia . X

    Sarah2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Antonia's apartment was beautiful and every detail thought of, from the Jo Malone candles lit on arrival to fresh homemade apple juice, prosecco, bacon, eggs and bread to hand in the kitchen. The apartment feels so homely but also luxurious. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful Summer evening dipping our toes in the pool after a hard day's walk around the surrounding hills. The Howard Arms is fantastic, but a little far to walk - luckily a lovely waiter ran us back to the Hall in his car! Antonia was a great host, informative but very considerate and happy to leave us to our own devices! We'll definitely be recommending to family and friends, and hopefully visiting ourselves again soon.

    Caroline2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • We came to Admington Hall for a birthday treat and a mini babymoon, and were made to feel extremely welcome. The apartment is beautiful and the surroundings idyllic. Antonia has gone the extra step with all the lovely little details of scented candles, chocolates and lovely toiletries to use. Our stay was very relaxing and we hope to visit again. Thank you very much Antonia x

    Rebecca2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • This little place is the best I've stayed at in Cotswold...4th occasion this summer and first place I look for. Hospitality is first class and I highly recommend.

    Declan2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • We really felt we got our money's worth with Antonia's place. We had a really comfortable stay and were blown away by the surroundings. It was a real privilege to have a wander round.

    Callum2017-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Coach House was everything we'd hoped for, and then some. Antonia, our host, was utterly charming and ensured every detail was taken care of. We had fantastic instructions and a very warm welcome. She has clearly worked hard to make sure that the Coach House is beautifully decorated and gloriously luxurious. The White Company bed linen and towels are divine and there were scented Jo Malone candles burning on arrival. Antonia had even gone to the trouble of booking us into the fantastic local pub, The Howard Arms, on our first evening. The fridge was deliciously well stocked and breakfast consisted of homemade granola and homemade apple juice, freshly laid eggs, bacon, yoghurt, croissants and more. The kitchen had everything we needed for a night in of cooking (and I loved all the Anthropologie crockery). In short, it was the ultimate luxury in weekend escapes! Thank you Antonia.

    Kirstie2016-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Just a beautiful cottage in the grounds of a grand stately home in the country. Lovely grounds and horse stables to wander around. Antonia provided everything needed and more. With a stocked kitchen with all the bits and pieces, condiments and more needed to cook. Real attention to detail and lovely people to boot. Offering help and advice of the local area. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Antonia

    Barty2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Coach House for a last minute, relaxing weekend away and boy was it worth it! The apartment is even better and cosier than the pictures portray and we loved all the little personal touches. Antonia was there to greet us upon arrival and there were lots of top quality produce (milk, butter, bacon, yogurts, raspberries, jams, apple juice, apples, fresh eggs) for breakfast, as well as plenty of chocolatey treats dotted around the apartment to tempt you with too. We really enjoyed spending time at the apartment and honestly wished we could have stayed even longer. All the facilities, linens and towels were as described and loved all the horsey artwork and books. We also explored further afield and had dinner reservations at both The Howard Arms and The Wild Rabbit (which were recommended by Antonia) during our stay and must say we had the most delicious meals at both places - although booking ahead is definitely recommended as both places seemed very popular with the locals (and visitors!) alike. The Coach House is set within the most beautiful grounds and the local countryside is simply exquisite - we felt like we'd found our own little piece of heaven and will most certainly be staying here again in the near future. An absolute gem of a place, but shhhh please keep this to yourself! ;-)

  • Sue was a fantastic host, we were welcomed on arrival with a hamper of local produce, wine and and a tour of the The Lodge. We stayed a week at The Lodge and experienced the benefit of a great location which allowed us to not only enjoy the experience of the local area but also to travel to Bath and Cardiff. Sue took every opportunity to assist us with our plans and ensured that all of our needs were met whilst we were her guests. I highly recommend The Lodge and I have no doubt that we will return to enjoy Sue's company and the Cotswalds again.

The lodge is small but perfectly formed with everything you need to a very high standard. Sue could not have been more helpful on arrival with plenty of suggestions on what to do on our trip. Definitely worth a visit!

Cool Comfortable Cotswold living in our three bedroomed private home with light, airy, luxurious and spacious accommodation. With a pretty sunny walled garden and within easy walking distance of our famous pub The Howard Arms, village shop, cafe and rolling hills, we provide the perfect base from which to enjoy your vacation.
Manor Barns is in a unique location within the centre of Ilmington. Ideal for exploring the Cotswold villages and surrounding countryside, the house is situated in a quiet row of houses with easy parking immediately outside the property and is perfect for a peaceful or active break for you to enjoy at your own pace.
Recently polled as one of the prettiest villages to live in the country, Ilmington is an ancient farming community nestling in the foot of the North Cotswolds. In days gone by it was famous for its apple orchards and was made up of neighbouring farms. Today it is a beautiful village with a mixture of farms, Cotswold homes, two pubs and a village shop and cafe converted from the old Catholic Church. Within easy reach of the RSC, Stratford upon Avon and all that that town has to offer it is also only a forty minute drive to Cheltenham Spa or Woodstock, home of Blenheim Palace. Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate are within 3 miles and other National Trust properties nearby include Snowshill, Chastleton House and Upton House. If walks are wanted there is an abundance of footpaths leading from and into the village and the Cotswold Way is within easy reach for the serious walker.

  • The property didn't look the part ie, not the sort of cottage that you would expect in the Cotswolds, looks more like a miners cottage, but once inside it was different again, fantastic, the only thing missing was a dishwasher, I would sooner be outside than washing dishes.

  • Great host with a fab place. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Susannah accommodated our requests. If new into area then Susannah helps guide you around with lots of local knowledge. Local pub also a must for a meal.

  • Lovely house in an idyllic setting. Susannah was a great host and made sure we were well taken care of. She even cooked a lovely breakfast for us in the morning.. would be definitely return. The Howard Arms up the road (15 min walk) was a fantastic pub for a nice dinner and a few drinks.

  • Susannah was a fantastic host and the accommodations were excellent. Clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and Susannah provided very helpful touring suggestions. Highly recommend staying here.

  • Susie was an amazing host. Very friendly and helpful. Nice room setup too. She gave us lots of tips for exploring the local areas. Our sat nav struggled with the address so the photo of her house helped immensely. 5 star breakfast!!!

    Richelle 2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • The host was flexible, very welcoming and hospitable despite her own busy family and work schedule. The house is an extended cotswold farm house that has been completely modernised (at some expense I suspect) inside. Nevertheless, the almost hotel-like bedrooms and bathroom were comfortable even for a family that is not used to such high standard accomodation. The location is perfect for exploring both Stratford upon Avon and local villages and towns, making it an ideal holiday base in the middle of the peace and quiet of the countryside.

    Mick2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place and good value. Susannah is a great host and even welcomed us with a beer after our cycling trip! The bikes were stored for us and suggestions were made for dinner, even with the offer of a lift back from nearby venues. Highly recommended

  • Susannah's home is extremely comfortable and there's a great hot shower, too. She gave us a filling, full works breakfast which was perfect for our morning start of walking the Cotswold Way. Susannah was very helpful with local walking route suggestions too, and she kindly drove us into Chipping Campden so we could begin our walk. Highly recommended!

In the heart of the Cotswolds, recently converted from an old farm building in a contemporary style with inglenook fireplace and private garden with barbecue - perfect for all seasons. Within walking distance of a great local pub (The Times Best Village Inn 2017), farm shop and cafe in the pretty village of Ebrington. Our nearest town is Chipping Campden. Close to Dalesford and Soho Farmhouse, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Cheltenham and countless beautiful Cotswold villages
The Apple Barn is a recently converted farm building which was originally used to store fruit and vegetables. It combines the traditional features of stone and oak floors and beams, with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Minimum booking is 2 nights. If you wish to extend a weekend booking at either end, please ask for discount details. The house can comfortably accommodate a large family or group of friends that don't mind sharing. There are plenty of extra beds available, but obviously the more beds you add, the more snug the accommodation becomes and the more people sharing the 3 bathrooms. There are 2 good sized ensuite bedrooms on the first floor and a further 2 -bedroom family suite with one ensuite bathroom on the second floor. These bedrooms are conjoined so they make up one large space and are therefore ideal for a family or people that don't mind sharing. The first floor bedrooms have king sized beds (5 foot). Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and a single bed. There is also space in this room for an additional fold up bed. Bedroom 2 also has space for an additional fold up bed, but this needs to be folded away during the day because it blocks access to the wardrobe when set up. The beds on the second floor are Queen (4ft 6") and three single beds. There is room between these 2 areas for an additional fold up bed. There is a large double sofa bed in the sitting room. Cots and highchairs are also available. I'm happy for up 12 people plus infants and pets to stay and there is enough room to seat 12 in the dining room, but it will make the common areas more of a squeeze, especially in the winter when the garden will be less usable. There are enough beds for 14 but you should be aware that the accommodation would be very snug if you had that many people sharing the facilities. Please note that the second floor bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase so not suitable for those with mobility difficulties or very young children (see photo) The ground floor is open-plan with a large sitting room, kitchen and dining room. There is a large inglenook fireplace in the sitting room with log-burning stove, TV, DVD player, iPod connectable stereo (via aux cable or old style jack) and football table. The kitchen is well appointed with range cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar. and Smart TV. The dining room has a long refectory table with seating for 10 people. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and downstairs cloakroom. All rooms are served by wireless broadband. There are two outside areas. At the front of the property there is a lawned area with terrace. To the side is a very private circular terrace with dining area and parasol. This is a particular sun trap and effectively creates an outdoor dining room in fine weather.
Charingworth is a quiet hamlet on the edge of Ebrington. There are fantastic walks nearby, a great local pub and lots to do in the surrounding area. The house is in the Cotswolds but also close to Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Warwick. The house is located in the middle of the Cotswold countryside. This is a rural location and the nearest village of Ebrington has a farm shop and a village pub. We always knew that our local pub, The Ebrington Arms, was special. Apparently The Times agrees. They have given it the accolade of Best Village Inn and also listed it as one of the in the best summer pubs in the UK. The pub is a short walk away in Ebrington. It's open all day and serves lunch and dinner (booking recommended) as well as snacks at other times. It also offers a very superior take-away fish and chips service. We are very lucky because we have several really good pubs nearby. The Churchill Arms in Paxford also has to get a special mention. The chef/owner (he used to be Head Chef at Soho House and who has worked for Gordon Ramsey, Marcus Wareing and Eric Chavot) has appeared on Saturday Kitchen Live alongside Michel Roux, and his food is really excellent. A new farm shop and cafe has recently opened in the nearby village. This is about 20 minutes walk from the house and close to the village pub. Vegetable Matters offers 'fresh local produce and a warm welcome'. There are general stores in Chipping Campden and Shipston-on-Stour which are both within 4 miles of the property. There is a Waitrose in Stratford-upon-Avon which is about 15 minutes drive away. Ideally you will need a car, although, if guests prefer not to drive. they can arrange supermarket deliveries from Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco. The house is surrounded by beautiful rural Cotswold countryside with many public footpaths, including The Cotswold Way. There are numerous Cotswold stone villages and towns nearby, including Chipping Campden, Broadway, Upper and Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold. It is also close to Stratford-upon-Avon and an ideal location for visiting both the theatre and this historic town. Oxford and Blenheim Palace, in Woodstock, are also only a short drive away.
  • Loved this place. Clean, absolutely comfortable, spacious yet homey...The Apple Barn scores well on all fronts. The only thing is you absolutely must have a car to stay in this part of the country. But that would go for any place in the rural English countryside, i think. So yes. All Stars. Had a great stay. My entire family really loved the whole place.

  • A group of 10 us rented the house for a weekend to celebrate two 30th birthdays. Stephanie was a brilliant host right from the beginning. We had a Tesco shop delivered to the house on the day we arrived and she kindly offered to meet it and put it away before we got there. She met us at the house when we arrived and showed us around the amazing house - it's even more impressive than in the pictures! She then left us to have a brilliant weekend, only getting in contact again to let us know there had been a local issue with the water on Sunday. There was nothing she could do to solve the issue but she kept us up to date with info as she got it which was great. Overall a beautiful house and garden in a stunning area with a really great host.

  • This barn is gorgeous, externally the property looks like it should be on a postcard and is in a beautiful area, and the inside interior is gorgeous. Stephanie was an amazing host and very quickly responded to all my questions to provide answers and recommendations. Stephanie provided a number of beautiful little touches - including a lovely bottle of fizz which made the experience even better than expected. If staying at this property you must visit the Ebrington Arms - food was amazing!

  • Great communication & lovely place.

    John2016-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's communication prior to and throughout our stay was excellent. It was clear that she wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and that we shouldn't hesitate to contact her with any questions or problems. The Apple Barn is beautiful, with lovely outside areas which we made full use of. It was the perfect venue for our family celebration.

    Martina2016-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely barn with ample space to accommodate my families. Shame didn't get to use the bbq/ patio area as it's been raining. Stephanie is very accommodating and allow us to check out later if no guest arriving same day. Overall great experience and hope to visit again.

  • We've just got back from a three-night stay at Apple Barn with family visiting from Australia and the US, and it couldn't have been any better. The Barn itself is simply stunning; the furnishings and rooms, the views and setting, and the outside spaces. Having breakfast out in the courtyard was lovely, and the three children had loads of space to kick the football around on the grassed garden. It's a very sociable house with the large kitchen with bar stools - and the long dining table for 10, but also had lots of cosy spaces. I can imagine it's equally fab in winter too with the fire. Stephanie was a brilliant host. I had great communication beforehand and she very kindly took delivery of our food shop - it was so neatly put away in the fridge when we got there which was very kind (and meant we had chilled drinks on arrival after a long drive!). Stephanie was very quick to respond for anything we did need during our stay, and made a great recommendation for a local pub dinner which was superb. The football table in the lounge provided laugh-til-they-cried hilarity for the kids - they absolutely loved it and it's a brilliant addition to the house. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and everything was immaculate. I would highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone wanting to explore the Cotswolds; we loved Chipping Campden, Moreton-In-Marsh, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick and the Castle - and we even went up to the Cadbury's Factory which is about 55 mins drive. We'll definitely return whenever our next Cotswolds trip comes around - we absolutely loved Apple Barn.

    Laura2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Apple Barn. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Stephanie was very responsive to all of our queries and the welcome we received on arrival was warm and generous. The location of Apple Barn is great; far enough away from the big centres to feel like a break, without being so far that it feels isolated. We went for a lovely walk to Chipping Campden (a leisurely hour each way) and enjoyed a great Sunday lunch at the Ebrington Arms in the next village. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Apple Barn and are almost certain that we shall return at some stage.

  • What a beautiful cottage! We loved our time at Jo's place, a cottage full of character in a peaceful location with great road links to the Cotswold villages. Everything was perfect for a romantic stay, with plenty of firewood provided for the comforting log burner. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, and we felt very much immersed in the Cotswolds way of life during our time here. We could have stayed much longer!

The place is also absolutely beautiful, and the fridge was so kindly stocked with delicious food and drink!! We were so impressed with the set up, couldn't recommend it more highly, and we will definitely be back!! x

  • Five stars just isn't enough for this beautiful place. I'm almost scared to share it unless too many people find out about it and Jo can't fit me in for another visit! Jo is a super lady and now feels like an old friend, her warmth and generosity shine through. The cottage is just gorgeous , I couldn't have asked for more than arriving on a miserable January afternoon to be greeted by a roaring log fire and the cosiest and cleanest of properties with everything I needed. A perfect hideaway!

  • An absolutely stunning cottage with beautiful decor. Jo had lit the log burner and put soft lighting on for when we arrived which was a treat and perfect after a cold day exploring local villages. There was useful items like tea, coffee, local honey and cereal left out to use. The cottage is quiet and nestled away in the countryside about 5 minute drive from Morton in the Marsh, and close to Stow on the Wold and Boughton on the Water. We are planning a return visit to Jo’s cottage in the spring.

Our cosy little cottage is the perfect place to explore the Cotswolds from. Nestled below Ilmington Hill and Larkstoke you can literally walk for miles over the hills and far away!
A true cotswold cottage sleeping 4 quite comfortably or 5 if you use the roll out bed in one of the single rooms. Upstairs bathroom + wc and downstairs shower room + wc too. Open fire and woodburner creates a lovely fug up in the winter (or summer!!)
The walking and scenery is fantastic. The village has two pubs and a shop which amongst other things sells fresh baked pastries and wine!
  • Our stay in Lucy's pretty cottage was delightful. It is small but perfectly formed - and very cleverly set out and decorated. We are a family of four and we were really comfortable there. It is very cosy and pretty and we were made to feel extremely welcome. The little village is very pretty too, and we had a nice meal at The Howard Arms which is about a minute's walk away. We had good family days out at Warwick Castle and at nearby Hidcote, and the cottage would be a brilliant place to stay if you're keen to walk. The Aga in particular made us feel we were really at home there.

  • We did not meet Lucy, but the arrangements for collecting the key were exactly as she told us they would be. Lucy had left us a very helpful list of how things worked and where to find things if we needed them. The village of Ilmington is very peaceful, and we explored it using the useful tips for walks that Lucy had left for us. The cottage is very comfortable and and styled in a homely fashion. The beds were very comfortable or at least the one I slept in was, and I did not have any complaints from my daughter. We visited Stratford-Upon-Avon to go to the theatre, on 2 occasions and it was a perfect place in which to explore the Cotswolds.

  • We spent a lovely week in Lucy's cottage. The property felt very homely and we enjoyed making the most of the garden as the sun shined all week. It's situated in a very picturesque village surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside. There's a couple of pubs very nearby and a friendly village convenience shop. We enjoyed some lovely days out as it's an ideal location for Warwick and Stratford. Lucy was very helpful during our stay and I would recommend the property and village to everybody. The Old Office is our offer to single people, who are in the area on business or holiday.
With its own access and independence , you can feel at home in our studio during your visit in the Cotswolds.
Located in a small village, outside Chipping Campden, we are conveniently located to explore both the Cotswolds and the Shakespeare County. Hidcote Boyce is a typical small Cotswold village - it has not materially changed for the last three to four hundred years. This makes it relatively unique in a rapidly changing world.

  • The room is very self contained with a sink, fridge and two ring cooker. The toilet and shower are across a small yard (3m) from the room but are modern and clean but probably very chilly in winter. There is a very good pub within walking distance that serves excellent food. Tim the host is a fascinating chap and can be hard to draw yourself away from with his fascinating stories and varied career.

  • Pleasant little cottage in an idyllic rural setting. Lots of quant little touches perfectly in keeping with the Cotswolds.

  • This charming cottage in the Cotswolds was everything we hoped it would be and more. It was actually much larger than we thought it would be. We were warmly welcomed by our host with a loaf of home made bread, cider, and other goodies. The Dee's garden is lovely, as is the quaint area in the Hidcote area. We found the kitchen well-stocked to meet our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the home immaculately kept. We would definitely go back here again.

  • In the end we were only able to stay the one night, as my wife is pregnant and we had go home early. However the cottage was in a gorgeous little village, the host Tim was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage itself had lots of Cotswold rustic charm from the outside, however please bear in mind this cottage is very old and we felt in need of some updating on the inside (flaky paint, peeling wall paper, broken light fittings, landing light had a missing cover, old and dated decor). To us the cottage did not feel generally clean, neither of the upstairs bedroom radiators were working, the downstairs shower was broken and running constantly (however Tim did warn us that was a recent addition)but it was apparently still usable. The windows are the old steel framed type and due to their age won't shut properly, so most have a half inch gap allowing a constant draft (not great during cold weather, but wouldn't cause a problem in the warmer months). The beds were not the most comfortable, after trying the main double bed (which is very old), we found it very noisy to sleep in (Tim did again warn us someone else had made the same complaint), as it creaks very loudly and has a very soft mattress. So we retreated to the twin room, but unfortunately they weren't great either. Another small but niggling problem was that there were no small side lamps working (either in the bedrooms or in the lounge), and when you just want to chill out in the evening and watch a movie you don't want the ceiling light on. Two of them didn't have bulbs in, and the one bedroom came apart in my hand when I tried to switch it on. Very nearly had a hand full of live wires, it had obviously been broken for a while and someone had just balanced the top back on. The lounge sofa leaves a lot to be desired to, it is i'm guessing very very very old and is by no means comfortable (numb bum after half an hour on it), if two sit on it at the same time its like floating around out at sea. It is a shame as this cottage could be a stunning place to stay with a bit of general maintenance and updating.

  • The house was just perfect for us, 4 adults and a baby. Hosts were really kind and organized a cot, high chair and baby toys. Fresh flowers and all tidy. The location in the Costwolds is beautiful. Recommend 100%

  • We had a lovely stay. The house was great and Konstantina was very responsive. We requested to check in early and as the house was ready she was incredibly flexible. Lovely location, just a short drive to Chipping Camden.

  • Great house and great welcome from the host! Very cosy cottage, we had a good time :)

  • The cottage was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed into their beautiful house with a fire and also spoilt with a goody bag of fresh bread, chocolate truffles, farm eggs and muesli. The house felt very warmly and comfortable. It was in a perfect and convenient location to explore the Cotswald district. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family for a weekend getaway!

Explore the stunning Cotswolds (UK's largest area of outstanding natural beauty). Stay at Mickleton Wood Holiday Cottage situated a stones throw from Chipping Campden (start of the Cotswold Way) and walking distance from both Hidcote National Trust and Kiftsgate Gardens. A cosy three bedroomed cottage, with woodburning stove and fantastic views from all windows across the working farm. Easy access to many attractive Cotswold villages and just eight miles from Shakespeare's Birthplace.
We offer you a very warm welcome to Mickleton Wood Cottage and are always at hand if you need help or advice. The cottage has three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a double bed and the third has a single bed. We can accommodate a sixth guest using a pull out bed in the single room when required, this bed is not on legs and does not come up to the same height, it does make this bedroom a bit of a squeeze. This bed could be put in any of the three bedrooms if required.
Your local village is Mickleton, just a two minute drive or fifteen minute walk, it has a wonderful friendly village shop with all you need for your stay and a great selection of local produce. There is a traditional butcher, friendly post office and two village pubs, The Kings Arms and The Butchers Arms. If you have a sweet tooth why not eat at the famous Three Ways Hotel popular for it's Pudding Club. Close by are many beautiful cotswold villages, Chipping Campden, Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in the Marsh, Bourton on the Water are but a few. Also Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare's Birthplace and Cheltenham Spa, a perfect rest stop while at Cheltenham Races.
  • Wonderful place, clean and comfortable. The location is great as it is a bit isolated and you can enjoy the countryside but it is a short walk from pubs and restaurants. We walked to chipping Camden and you can do other walks too without needing to get the car. And last, the host was very helpful, gave us maps and suggestions and replied quickly to every message. Would recommend it.

  • Wonderful hosts, beautifully decorated cottage, very cosy. Perfect location in the Cotswolds for us, walking routes in all directions. Set on a working sheep farm, our baby daughter adored the lambs. Beautiful rural views in all directions. Peaceful, but walkable to the famous pudding club. We definitely filled the cottage, 6 plus baby, and although it was a squeeze around the kitchen table, the kitchen was so well equipped we turned out a huge roast with all the trimmings with no bother. Host was super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Only minor negative - the shower needs an upgrade, but there is also a lovely bath and plenty of hot water. Excellent quality towels and bedding, White Company gorgeousness. Also no freezer or washing machine. Excellent excuse to eat up our ice cream!

  • What a beautiful scenic spot. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The kids loved watching the sheep and horses in the pastures. The location was within 15 minutes to all the top scenic Cotswold towns and sights to see. Highly recommended!

  • Hannah's place was the perfect location for us, we were going to a wedding reception at Blackwell wedding venue and it's about a 5-10 minute taxi drive away. The annex itself was beautiful and very clean and tidy, with lovely little touches as a couple of drinks in the fridge along with cookies and everything you need. There were fresh towels and shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I'd definitely recommend this place, thank you for having us!

    Lucy2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • An ideal place for anyone who needs to stay in the area. We were there for work and visiting family. Hannah provided items for breakfast, drinks and toiletries and was able to provide anything we asked for eg a tin opener. We were able to use our bikes for gentle rides in the rural area and visit local NT properties. Hannah's local OS map was useful for finding our way around. Many thanks

An outstanding Cotswolds home set in a quiet countryside location surrounded by fields, with a pub within walking distance. The house is a superb luxury option with a large private garden - ideal for families or groups of friends. Quite simply, we think it is spectacular!! With it's large patio door/windows, the kitchen overlooking the gardens has a fabulous a spacious light/bright feel with comfortable underfloor heating.
  • I stayed at Jayne's place with five colleagues and we had a wonderful time. The house is in a beautiful, remote location with some great walking paths and lovely small villages. The house was perfect for a group of our size with plenty of space to cook, eat and relax together. She was a great host and I highly recommend staying there!

  • Great property and gardens are lovely. We had 4 young children but would be suitable for adults only as well. The property is up to a high standard and the gardens / BBQ are fantastic.

  • This is a pleasant property in a lovely quiet location and should allow people a relaxed and comfortable stay. We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the kitchen and barbeque on arrival, but once a concern was raised the owner sent a cleaner to resolve the problems. I was led to believe new cleaners had failed to deliver on their contract. The property is comfortable and has a lovely garden and patio area. The bedrooms are comforatbale and the bathrooms are very clean. The property is a little tired and might benefit from a spruce up and re-equipping in the kitchen given the price charged. We didn't meet the host , though we spoke on the phone to gain resolution of the cleaning issues- she was apologetic and accommodating and quickly took action. We had a good time despite our initial problems.

  • We have just returned from a fabulous stay! I couldn't recommend the place highly enough and was perfect for our needs as a group of a few couples/friends. The photos dont really do it justice, everything is done to a very high standard and the house is beautiful. Lovely gardens and orchard too! We would love to stay again in future, we had a great weekend!

  • Large, fresh, beautifully decorated space. Everyone had plenty of space apart as well as plenty of space to get together. Could not have asked for much more. All of the guests have commented on how wonderful the barn was and how great their stay was. Can't praise this place enough!

  • Our visit to Simone's annexe was ideal for what we wanted. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed staying in the middle of Mickleton which is a very pretty village. The accommodation is close to Stratford, Stow on the Woldand Bourton on the Water and ideal for picturesque walks, restaurants and shops. Simons is a spear hostess and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is newly converted and everything has been carefully planned. A cosy, comfortable place to stay.

  • Simone's place was cute, quiet, compact, and comfortable and was ideally situated for our trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. It was located within easy walking distance of a small grocery and pub, and Simone was very helpful, informative, and friendly. She even offered to switch out our dishes after dinner so we wouldn't have to wash up in the bathroom sink. We were provided a delicious breakfast of croissants, compote, fruit, jam, butter, juice, and milk--what a lovely way to start the day!

  • The Annexe, within the grounds of the owner's thatched cottage premises, is perfectly situated for the Cotswolds in the lovely village of Mickleton, about 8 mins drive from Chipping Campden and within a reasonable walk across Heart of England pathways to the gorgeous gardens of Kiftgate and Hidcote. Whether you're wanting to stay in the area for business or pleasure, the accommodation is really comfortable, would suit one person or a couple, it's beautifully decorated, has space for one car alongside the owners, within a gated gravel drive, access to the owner's fantastic garden with a small table and chairs provided, flat-screen, wall-mounted TV, USB points on plug sockets, microwave, small, real coffee machine, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, suitable crockery and cutlery and owner Simone provides an excellent continental breakfast left, each day, in the fridge - fresh juice, milk, croissants, butter, cereal/muesli, freshly chopped fruit and home made preserve. Simone is an excellent hostess with great knowledge of the area and will advise on where to go out to eat or buy basic provisions. There are some great pubs and eateries in the village of Mickleton, The Pudding Club being one of them, with many more in Chipping Campden, a short drive away. All in all, The Annexe proved to be a lovely, peaceful haven and it's position ideal to enjoy this beautiful part of Gloucestershire. We highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit in the autumn.

  • We stayed one night in this lovely sunny room, which is a recently converted garage at the end of Simones equally lovely garden. It's compact but very well designed with a pull out table, fridge and excellent coffee machine. There's also a table and chairs and small Patio that you can use if the weather is good. The breakfast was delicious and Simone was a great host. Recommended!

With original walls half a metre thick, window seats, exposed beams, old oak doors and floors and a beautiful inglenook fireplace, Tea Cosy Cottage is delightful. A fabulous log burning stove in the sitting room creates a perfect cosy, warm and welcoming ambience. The original staircase adds to the delightful character of Tea Cosy, a beautiful cottage designed around original features. Previously owned by an English Lord and Lady, the cottage was featured in The Daily Mail and in pastimes was the village post office and bakery (the original baker’s oven is still there to see). Enter through the front stable door directly into the fully equipped kitchen, a light and airy room with windows and stable doors to the front and rear. Furnishings include a range of fitted wood cupboards, an antique oak table and four chairs and monk's bench. Just outside the kitchen door is an outer room, complete with washer/dryer and freezer. The sitting room is wonderfully cosy with a large Cotswold stone inglenook fireplace featuring a salt drying box and wooden seat on one side and a wood burning stove with plenty of logs. Two very comfortable two seater Laura Ashley sofas are provided and the window seat carved in Elm especially for the cottage by a local craftsman provides a special touch, the perfect place to sit with a coffee or a book and to watch the horses stroll by. A flat screen Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player provide additional entertainment and the cottage offers excellent superfast Wi-Fi. A few winding stairs lead to the landing upstairs. The stairs are an original feature thus adding even more character that Tea Cosy has to offer. BEDROOM ONE - Part of the charm of this cottage is its original features including this bedroom's original doorway and oak beams. The old painted brick chimney breast faces you as you enter this light room with windows on two sides. The room is furnished with a double bed (4'6" wide), rugs on the wooden floors, an antique rocking chair, and a chest of drawers and wardrobe. BEDROOM TWO - This small but delightful room has two solid wood single beds cleverly made by a local craftsman. With a walk-in cupboard that provides a shelf and hanging space for clothes, it is ideal for children. There are wooden oak floors throughout upstairs in the cottage. BATHROOM - White bathroom suite and wooden floor. The bath is fitted with a shower screen with electric shower over the bath. The room also contains a basin with overhead light with shaver point and WC. The delightfully private, enclosed rear garden is very pretty and laid to grass with herbaceous borders, the perfect setting to dine al fresco or to simply sit and chat with a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets. When you walk under a wooden archway where the garden narrows it then opens out into another secluded area. There is public parking in front of Tea Cosy Cottage. We fell in love with our cottage, we know you will too…we look forward to welcoming you to Tea Cosy Cottage.
  • We had a wonderful few days getting away from the London hustle and bustle and enjoying the peaceful countryside in the Cotswolds, and the Tea Cosy Cottage was the perfect place to stay. • A lovely little cottage in a charming little village. A great experience staying in such a piece of history. We were looked after well by Nigel and the cottage was comfortable and clean. I would have no reservations recommending Tea Cosy to someone looking for the opportunity to experience staying in an historic English cottage

  • Wonderful little cottage in the heart of beautiful countryside. Tea Cosy cottage is a quintessential 17th century dwelling with thatched roofing, exposed beams and a wood burning fire. It was immaculately presented with well thought out amenities. Nigel is a great host and clearly a lot of effort has gone into how to make the guest experience as enjoyable as possible. We were greeted with a basket of local produce and daily essentials. Nigel was very responsive to emails and helpful. Tea Cosy cottage is highly recommended!

  • Tea Cosy Cottage is beautiful, it's the perfect place to snuggle up with a log fire for a few relaxing nights away. The hosts are very welcoming, quick to respond and had laid the cottage out beautifully with plenty of fresh towels and a basket of goodies and logs to get us started. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The locals are also very friendly and the Plough Inn is within easy walking distance. A great base to explore the Cotswolds.

  • We had a lovely time at Tea Cosy Cottage. The space is perfect, with everything you could need for an idyllic country escape. We especially enjoyed cosying up by the fire and eating at the local pub (The Plough Inn), which had some of the best pub food we've ever had and very friendly staff! The village is small but was very welcoming, with some lovely walks in the area. We never got to meet Nigel, but communication was great throughout our stay. The welcome package was wonderful to arrive to and made settling in easy as we everything we needed for our first morning. All in all, the cottage was the perfect spot for our holiday!

Beautiful self contained studio in perfect location. Located in the Cotswold village of Mickleton which has 2 country pubs and is home to the famous pudding club at the Three Ways House Hotel. 3 miles from stunning Chipping Campden, and close to Broadway, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham. Perfect for walkers or a peaceful rest. A perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Please note this property does not have wifi.
  • A great find! Katy's place was perfect for us. The photos on the website don't do it justice at all; it is a lovely huge space!! It was lovely and clean and we had everything we needed: excellent shower, good shelving/storage in the bathroom for toilet bags etc, extra loo rolls, beautiful, new, well equipped kitchen with a good supply of mugs, plates etc, tea towel and cleaning stuff, excellent heating system and constant hot water, a good television and DVDs....and a really, really comfortable bed! Katy had left tea, coffee, small sachets of milk and some biscuits out for us when we arrived and the lights on to welcome us. It was also very, very peaceful being set back, as it was, off the road, which is a quiet one anyway, and totally private, with no sound from other people at all. Katy was lovely; very relaxed and friendly. We will definitely stay again!!

  • Had a great time at Katy's studio apartment. Ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. The apartment was lovely and clean and comfortable.

  • Such a beautiful comfy place, I highly recommend a visit to Katy's

  • This is a lovely studio apartment in the Cotswolds. Warm and cosy with a well equipped kitchen. It is in a perfect location for exploring and also is a two minute walk from a fantastic restaurant and two friendly pubs. Although we didn't meet Katy, she responded very quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again in the future.

  • Nice spot in a nice part of Gloucestershire. Local shop and some great restaurants and pubs close by. Good comms by host and very cool apartment.

  • Katy is a terrific host - there when needed and very responsive. Her flat is beautiful and very inviting. Great, central location for visiting the Cotswolds and it was a relief to have close, on-street parking. It was well equipped for preparing meals, the bed was very comfy, there was lots of hot water - what more could one want? Thanks again Katy for a great stay!

    Alekzandria2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We found the studio very easily thanks to the directions but didn't meet Katy which might have been nice. Lovely place to stay for a few nights with lots of charm in the scenic village of Mickleton. The kitchen is well equipped and very handy for cooking a few meals. We did the 4 mile walk around the beautiful Cotswolds area which we had researched in advance and on the way stopped off at Hidcote Gardens which was nice as we are both gardening fans. Little tip - Tried to have dinner at the Kings Arms but we didn't book in advance so they were full which was a shame as it looked nice!

18th century barn, retaining many original features. Cosy with wood burning stove, sofas, and comfortable beds. Well equipped with large open plan living area, range cooker, table for 12, WiFi, and HD projector. Upstairs there are 2 loos and free standing bath/shower, and open plan bedroom. Beds nestle in 5 niches made by the beams (1 double and 4 singles). Outside, Nov-Feb, there is also glamping accommodation - a wagon (double or a twin), and a boathouse (double or twin, with 2 extra beds).
You are in beautiful countryside, surrounded by walks and very few cars.
  • This place is delightful. Really well appointed, and even though it is very close to Olivia's home and the main house, you still felt very left alone and remote. The barn is very cosy, and it was a nice touch that everyone was able to sleep in one room. The only issue I would say is that the wood fire is the only source of heat. This heats the radiators and the hot water. It was great during the day and evening, but it did mean that the barn got very cold overnight, and it also meant that we were not able to get enough hot water for everyone to shower. Olivia was a great host, and her communication was great.

    Alex2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place absolutely exceeded my (already quite high!) expectations. The barn was spacious but still cosy, with plenty of room for the eleven of us to cook, eat, drink and chat. The bedroom upstairs is relaxed and charming, and the boat house and orchard wagon were similarly cute. We especially loved the bed in the boat house - it's enormous! The various wood burners were invaluable in keeping us toasty on a very cold, frosty weekend, and the new heating installed in the barn's bedroom worked perfectly. The facilities are excellent, with speakers and connectors for most phones/laptops, an easy-to-use projector, and all the cooking equipment and tableware you could need. I would note that the internet connection was a little sporadic at times, and mobile reception can be patchy - but I'd imagine that's pretty much unavoidable out in the country. The gardens are lovely, and we particularly enjoyed a couple of visits from the dogs and chickens, the latter of which were so endearing that one of our number is now reconsidering his addiction to KFC... The surrounding area is, of course, beautiful, with wildlife in abundance (we saw a bunch of deer), and the quintessential British country pub up the road, complete with roaring fire and ruddy-faced gents in tweeds. The lodge provides the perfect base to explore... or just to hang out and spend time with your nearest and dearest. Couldn't ask for more - amazing value for money. Thanks so much for having us!

  • Really beautiful location. Everything you could possibly want from a place for a group of people. Incredibly warm and toasty too when the fire gets going. Perfect base for us and the surrounding area was ideal for what we wanted. Highly recommend. Worth checking out nearby Laser Conflict in Studley too and Cotswolds Wildlife Park a little further out. A lot of fun!!

  • The barn was a brilliant place for eight of us to stay for the weekend. We also used the boat and the hut. Olivia was great at communicating with us. We found the barn very warm and hot water plentiful. Perfect location for a weekend of walking and relaxation

Nestle snugly in our peaceful light-filled cottage, tastefully decorated. There are two double bedrooms with large kitchen-diner and sitting room with open fire. Hidcote Boyce is a quintessentially Cotswold hamlet with convenient access to the area.
Hidcote Boyce is a very quiet hamlet set deep in the North Cotswolds. We are less than one mile from the famous National Trust Garden of Hidcote Manor (a lovely walk across two fields and you're there!); and two miles from the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden. There are some wonderful gastro pubs and restaurants very nearby and other recreations include famous Walking Ways, Royal Shakespeare Company theatres at Stratford upon Avon, (15mins away). Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and other markets towns and villages all within very easy access.
The village is very small and quiet. We are two miles from the the next village which has a grocery store, a post office, two pubs. It is walkable but probably advisable to have a car to be able to get around. We are able to pick up guests from the nearest train station (Honeybourne or Moreton in Marsh).
  • Judi has thought of everything to make this place like a home away from home. The cottage is quintessentially Cotswolds and located for a quiet stay with easy access to all the major local attractions. The walks around the area are beautiful. The home is well appointed and we were left a basket of goodies to welcome us. Judi was excellent with her communications and tips for a wonderful stay and when we met her she was engaging and helpful.

  • We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights in January, with our 8 year old. The cottage was beautifully appointed, and cosy, and very well organised. Our son was far more happy in the cottage than a hotel, with its board games, open fire place and lots of different rooms, and it made the freezing weather an adventure rather than a difficulty. It was a beautiful old building with an amazing gate arch, in a tiny hamlet. I would love to stay again.

    Anna2016-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Judi was a great host and was there to meet us as we arrived. A lovely welcome hamper to greet us too. The cottage was spacious and very well equipped for a weekend getaway with a young family. Would love to stay here again.

  • The cottage was beautiful. The setting serene. Everything was as pictured but there is no way to describe how lovely the cottage and surroundings truly are. Judi provided a welcome basket that was quite unexpected and very generous - she made us feel completely welcomed and easily settled in. I could not recommend staying here more. Everything was excellent.

    Michelle2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We hugely enjoyed our stay in Judi's beautiful (and beautifully warm and cosy) cottage. It's so thoughtfully furnished and equipped - to the highest standard. Everything is particularly attractive, the hangings and drapes, the wallpaper and the pictures. And the colours are so sympathetic too. It proved a wonderful place to decompress and from which to explore the glorious Cotswolds. Judi even provided sunshine when it wasn't forecast during our stay! And talking about providing, Judi's welcome groceries, fruit, milk, eggs, butter and more, were particularly thoughtful - and the homemade pickled pears a special treat. So thanks so very much to Judi for the tlc and an idyllic break, from Judi and Steve and Bertie the Bedlington terrier!

  • Fabulous stay. Lovely house in a beautiful setting - perfectly located for us. Fabulous welcome basket. A great holiday location. And the dog loved it too!

    Alchemy2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Judi was a marvellous host, communicating well before the stay and extremely welcoming. The cottage is lovely, even better than the pictures, with everything you could need including loads of books, a great kitchen, a supersmart bathroom and a working fireplace - perfect for the end of a day spent walking the wonderful countryside and visiting Hidcote. We'd love to come again!

  • Judi's cottage is absolutely beautiful - everything we imagined a stay in the Cotswolds would be. Such a peaceful, quiet village - a great home base from which to explore. Thank you for being such a thoughtful hostess. Wonderful to be able to walk right to Hidcote Gardens too!

  • We had an awesome time in the cabin, was the perfect romantic weekend get away to the country. The hot tub was hot and the stove was even hotter! Considering it was January the cabin stayed warm the entire time. A real cosey space for couples to spend time in. As recommended, steaks went down perfectly in the stove and we even did a nice walk over to Chipping Camden.

  • Tanya was a great host and was very accommodating. The Hot tube is amazing and the space has everything you need. The steak from the butchers was lovely and meals were easy to make with the utensils provided. Would highly recommend.

  • We came to stay for my 30th birthday weekend and had an absolutely wonderful stay! In the lead up, Tanya had great communication and very kindly let us have a later check in time. She was a fantastic host and gave us some great local tips of places to check out in the area. We were a little worried it might be a bit chilly in the cabin given it being winter, but it was super cosy! The hotub and wood fire were also amazing! In all, an incredible place to stay!

  • A beautiful little cabin in a wonderful part of the Cotswolds. We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly delightful cabin. Thoughtfully furnished and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was to die for, and the proximity to local amenities meant we didn't have to travel far for supplies or a lovely meal out. We can't wait to come back!
