This home is located in the Wildcat Hills. Seclusion is on the agenda when staying at this house. Located at the top of a bluff elevated 500 feet above the level of the city allows for an amazing view!!

Selected breakfast/dinner items included. 10 minutes to Gering. In a world all its own. Big horn sheep, deer and turkey roam freely. Great place to get back to nature. The sunsets are incredible!
Homes are spread out and many neighbors own horses. Cattle grazes along the path. Big horn sheep can be seen along our bluff. Rustic but not remote, only 7 miles from Gering. Back to nature but we have internet . LOL
This place is amazing! The views were jaw dropping. Karen was a nice and thoughtful host- even baking for us and offering us a full go at her fridge and freezer. She texted us early in the morning to run outside to see the big horn sheep on the bluff, just steps from the house. We also enjoyed a flock of wild turkeys around dusk, sunset on the front porch and a sound sleep in the wild cat hills.
Solar eclipse viewing. Beautiful unobstructed country views, 1 1/2 minutes of totality or drive 1 hour north for 2 1/2 minutes of totality. Water hook up available and concrete slab to park you camper on. Grass to set up your tent! No electric service available.
Country camping spots at hobby farm. Chickens, ducks, and rooster's roam around the property. Collect farm fresh eggs if you like. Just 5 minutes into Gering/Scottsbluff Nebraska.
John is a great host who goes above and beyond for his guests. John made sure to meet us even though we arrived after 9pm, offered us beer and flashlights to help set up the tent. On the day of the eclipse John invited us to go up on the hill with his friends - a great way to watch the event.
Private bedroom and bathroom in the basement. Nothing glamorous, however it is clean and comfortable with a kind and friendly host. There are two Golden Retrievers (13 y/o and 1 y/o) on the premises. The house is one block from large parks and baseball fields which will be great for viewing the eclipse.
Adorable 3 bed ranch to rent for eclipse weekend! You'll have the entire 1st floor (owners will be in basement) which includes 3 beds (2 rooms with queen beds and 1 room with a twin) a full bath to yourselves, family room, dining/kitchen w/stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, microwave, fridge, gas stove). We have a big backyard with swing set & playhouse. Charcoal grill & patio set may also be used. We are a 5 min walk to one of the main eclipse viewing sites & 5 min drive to the monument.
Residential area. Quite location. Big park nearby. Within a 5 min walk to Five Rocks Amphitheater, which is 1 of the 3 main eclipse viewing sites in the entire area, so no need to deal with the heavy traffic in your car. We're also located just a 5 min drive to Scottsbluff National Monument. Easy access to all major roads in and out of the area.
Amazing and just awesomely good people to work with. Extremely accommodating. Home was beautiful on the inside and out!! Super clean. Would stay Again!! ❤️
Renting camping spots for the upcoming eclipse. I am limiting the number of campers. Location is on a mowed four acre location just east of Gering Ne, 1/2 mile off the highway. Easy access, can accommodate any size camper or rv. No hook ups and no bathrooms
Thanks again, Andy for such a great Airbnb experience. A perfect 5/5!
Ideal Nebraskan home to stay in and experience a once in a life time solar eclipse as well as surrounding tourist sites. Located less than 3 miles from the Scotts Bluff National Monument and only 21 miles from Chimney Rock. With a fantastic view of the Bluffs it can be your home away from home with four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and all kitchen amenities. Backyard BBQ and fire pit perfect for an evening of relaxing after a day of site seeing.
Vee is a charming host and the house is lovely and clean, and cool. We loved the lamp fittings too.
Wonderful host and a beautiful home! The kind of host I would look for.
Vanessa's home is super cute and within walking distance of the main area of town, Five Rocks amphitheater, and the Plains Museum. She was very friendly, and greeted me when I arrived but guests also have the luxury of keyless entry!
no smoking, no private entrance. This is the unused basement of our home, within sight of Scottsbluff National Monument. If you're allergic be advised we have a shy indoor cat who you may never see while you are here.
