“Also close by on Freret street. They have the best burgers in town. Voted best burgers in Louisiana. They are a little on the juicy side but are made fresh to order in front of you in the open kitchen. Fast service. They have a popular condiment bar with multiple types of mayonnaise. Live their sweet potato waffle fries. They also have great specialty cocktails and thick shakes. ”

Pizzeria
“One of the only true authentic Neapolitan style pizza joints in the city. Personally my favorite restaurant in the city. If you go you can not pass up the gnocchi with blue crab. Better than any gnocchi you'll find in Italy and I will stand behind that comment. ”

Locale per la colazione
“What is a Kolache? A kolache is a hot fresh baked pastry, prized for its soft, pillowy dough and its versatility. Kolache fillings range from sweet to savory. Originating in Central Europe, kolaches became popular in certain parts of America. Kolaches are the ideal grab-and-go choice for a breakfast that is baked, not fried. Customers are welcomed to enjoy an array of items prepared from scratch every day. Everything in our kitchen is handmade--from dough to scrambled eggs to pico de gallo! We serve a variety of sweet and savory kolaches, breakfast tacos, empanadas, cinnamon rolls and other delicious freshly baked goods. We even serve a boudin kolache, a Southern twist on a traditional pastry. Our breakfast menu is served from open til close every day. Lunch is served at 10:30 am until close. The lunch menu includes delicious sandwiches and fresh tacos. All of our brisket and pork is marinated and cooked in house which gives our lunch an even fresher touch!”

Negozio di bagel
“ THE HUMBLE BAGEL STORY Humble Bagel was founded by Casey Mackintosh, from just outside of Washington D.C., and Tara Mikhail, a native of Long Island. Together, they envisioned an authentic, New York style bagel shop in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. Humble Bagel bakes authentic, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels fresh daily. We designed the kitchen to be open so that everybody can see the process of boiling and baking fresh bagels. Our bagels are made of five ingredients: Flour, Water, Steen’s Cane Syrup, Salt, and Yeast. Be sure to ask about our daily special! Please check out our mason jar recycling program! We fresh squeeze our orange juice daily, you can keep the mason jar or receive $1 off your next juice purchase if you return it. Whenever possible, local ingredients are used. We believe in New Orleans and we want to support it, including the use of Steen’s Cane Syrup and New Orleans Roast coffee. We love dogs! We have outdoor seating so be sure to bring your furry friends to have bagels with you! Our darlings: Buffy the pug and Knuckles the pit mix. Knuckles was rescued from Canine Connection on Tchoupitoulas. Buffy is the boss, of course.”
