“For three generations, the Lanza family has been producing award-winning wines at Wooden Valley Winery. The family shares a strong connection to this land and an unrelenting commitment to improving the way they farm their vineyards and craft their wines. They are proud to be Suisun Valley's oldest operating winery. Wooden Valley has been crafting Suisun Valley wine since 1933 and the Lanza family has owned the winery since the 1940s. Over the years, their experience in the fields has helped produce an exceptional selection of varietals from rootstocks perfectly suited to the region's microclimates.Taking time to share food and wine with family and friends has always been a part of their heritage. They offer a complete cellar of Wooden Valley Wines-all grown and bottled on the estate by the family. These include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, White Gamay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Miscela, and Petite Sirah. The Lanza family wines are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests are always welcome to their winery and tasting room to sample wines, learn more about their history, and experience some old-fashioned Lanza family hospitality. The Lanzas have a vision for Wooden Valley Winery and the vineyards – to establish Suisun Valley as a world class wine region. Wooden Valley Winery is open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check out the events section to learn more about upcoming events at the winery. Wooden Valley hosts its popular Food Truck Fridays series and Wine & Song Sundays every summer and fall. ”

Farmers Market
“Larry's Produce is a popular roadside produce stand in Suisun Valley open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June to December every year. Larry Balestra, a fourth generation farmer, and his wife Lisa, opened the produce stand in the summer of 1986 at their current location on Suisun Valley Road near Fairfield. With only themselves and a single employee, the trio farmed about 40 acres to start. After years of hard work and developing innovative business techniques, they now farm over 1,200 acres that include various fruits and vegetables sold at the stand, as well as wheat, safflower, garbanzo beans and canario beans. The small fruit stand has also grown substantially and has turned into a busy hub for both local shoppers and businesses as well as visitors from adjacent cities and counties. The Balestras employ approximately 80 people during the peak season. In addition to selling the large variety of fruits and vegetables they grow on their land, they also augment their selection by purchasing products from the San Francisco terminal market. These are generally fruits and vegetables that they are unable to grow themselves due to climate and soil restrictions. By further serving their customers in this way, Larry's has become a one-stop shopping stand for fresh produce and one of the largest in Solano County.”

“Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company is a family-owned company dedicated to growing and milling the finest quality artisan olive oil. Owners Ann and Mark Sievers produce oil from their own groves. Their properties are located in Green Valley and Suisun Valley between Fairfield and Napa Valley, a still-rural area where creek-side soils allow good drainage for the trees.Il Fiorello is proud to present their international award-winning olive oils as well as wines produced on their own label. Come see the Visitor Center and Olive Mill for tours and tastings. Tastings are daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mill tours are available by appointment. Group tours are also available. Please call ahead to customize your tour and tastings. Food pairings are available along with the international award-winning olive oils. The visitor center also includes a gift shop, a corporate event meeting space, and an outdoor patio with magnificent views of over 2,000 olive trees and the surrounding valley. Group cooking lessons in the 'Kitchen in the Grove' Culinary Center and demonstrations led by executive chefs are especially popular. Il Fiorello offers private classes, dinners and specialty cooking technique classes for large groups. Reservations are required. Fun Fact: The name Il Fiorello means "little flower" in Italian, so named after Ann's grandfather, Dominic Fiorello. She chose the symbolic name for the tiny, white flowers on the olive trees, each of which will become a delicious olive for milling into ultra premium oil. Il Fiorello is open daily year-round, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
