A cozy historic log cabin in a peaceful setting on Organic Ranch in the rural Loon Lake Valley. Get close to nature, enjoy wildlife, farm animals, endless hiking & numerous lakes to explore nearby. Loon Lake just 2km away. Enjoy buying meat direct from our farm. A great spot to disconnect, enjoy the peace of the wilderness, or go fishing, boating, or back roads exploring. Cabin is 1 room, plus toilet room (no shower). Kitchen, hand-crafted log bed, floor mattress, fireplace. 2 cabins available.
A great place for those who want to get in touch with nature, spend time outdoors, observe a wide range of wildlife in its true environment, enjoy a working farm atmosphere, disconnect from busy everyday life, or simply enjoy a quiet and relaxing get-away. This cabin offers an authentic farm experience in rural wilderness of British Columbia, Canada. This is one of two cabins on our farm available to rent through Air BnB. Our cabin, set on our Organic farm in rural British Columbia, enables guests to get lost in the peace and quiet of the country, recharge and disconnect, enjoy the beauty of untouched nature, experience all forms of wildlife and farm animals, have access to endless exploring of hundreds of lakes and forests (some recently charred by wildfire), and experience first hand the workings of a rural farm in Canada. Guests are able to hike, or cycle, directly from the cabin on to endless acres of public ("crown") land. Just 2 km away in the ever popular Loon Lake, with trophy trout fishing, as well as the opportunity for boat/canoe rentals. There are many, many more lakes, hiking opportunities, and scenic back roads drives, within a 1 hour drive. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase our farm raised meat and eggs during their stay. (products and availability may change and are dependent on season and customer sales) Keep in mind that we offer an authentic rural Canadian farm experience, complete with everything each season brings, including; heat, cold, dust, mud, bugs, unreliable cell service, no local grocery stores, and wood burning fireplaces to keep warm. Please Note: If you are looking for a polished and commercialized accommodation with every convenience please consider that our cabin may not be what you're looking for. However, if you're looking to get close to nature, enjoy wildlife, peace and quiet, and an authentic farm experience then our cabins are right for you! ACTIVITIES: A very popular area for hunting, snowmobiling, atving, kayaking and outdoor enthusiasts. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of crown land - just a few minute drive to access. There is no shortage of outdoors to explore, and hundreds of lakes near by. THE FARM: Our ranch is family run and fully operating, with baby lambs in the spring, haying in the summer, as well as many chickens, dogs, horses, cows through out the year. We sell organic eggs, chicken, lamb & beef through out the year, which are available for purchase to any visitors. The cabin is set on the farm, and although very private, the farm does function around this cabin. You may hear the odd tractor drive by on its way to the fields, or the sheep & horses calling to be fed. (don't worry, we wont make this noise as the sun comes up!) For your safety, guests are not allowed in pens with the animals, and are expected to respect all pets and farm animals. Please keep in mind that we have working dogs on our farm that are loose in the yard. If you have concerns with this please message us prior to booking. THE CABIN: The cabin has been fully restored from its original shape from 1940. It is 250 square feet. It has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with coffee maker, stove/oven, sink, mini fridge, cookware and dishes. It has a beautiful hand made log queen sized bed, and the option of a double size mattress for the floor that pulls out from under the main bed. It makes for cozy sleeping but the mattress can be pushed back out of the way for the day time. All linens are included. The cabin is heated solely with a fireplace/woodstove. Firewood for heating the cabin is provided. If guests are planning to have a late check-in time during the moderately-chilly months they are welcome to request us to start a fire before their arrival - advanced notice can ensure this (as we are not necessarily home a few hours prior to a guests arrival, if a late request is made). *Please keep this in mind if you are doing a same-day booking* During the indefinitely colder months we will be sure to start a fire and warm the cabin up for your arrival, however, after that it is guests responsibility to keep the fire going if needed. Of course, guests are welcome to request us stoking the fire during cold times if they plan to be out for the day, and we will gladly do so if we are available. *As we respect our guests privacy, we will not to do this unless requested. The bathroom is complete with ONLY a toilet. (There are no shower facilities at this time) There is running water, but you must heat your own hot water. When the temperature drops below freezing there will be no running water in the cabin. This typically begins around mid-October until the end of March, however varies from year to year. Please be aware of this before booking around October & March/April, keeping in mind that we can not predict the nighttime temperature in advance more specifically than this. During the times the water freezes we will provide the cabins with a bucket of water with a tap to use in the sink, as well as buckets of water they can use to still flush the toilet. Simply dump some water down the toilet bowl to flush. Small campfires may be permitted, but on approval only. Provincial campfire bans are often in effect from early June until September, but differ from year to year. Campfire wood is available for purchase, or bring your own. Guests must check with us before lighting any campfires. This cabin is perfect for guests looking to get back to nature, enjoy a farm atmosphere, disconnect from busy everyday life, and enjoy a simple, quiet and relaxing get-away. PETS: Pets are considered. A message, and approval, prior to booking is required. A $15 pet fee/pet/stay does apply (1 night stays with multiple pets may be negotiated case by case). Because it is a working farm with many animals and livestock, we require all pets on leash when outside - for their own safety, and the safety of our livestock. We do ask for owners to pick up after their dogs - doggy bags are great if you have, or shoveling and throwing in to the bushes or animal pens will also suffice. For everyone's comfort we make a point of limiting our dogs interaction with guests' pets at first, (we will keep our dogs inside and only by our side if you have a visiting pet) because we understand it is important for any pet introductions to be done with both owners present. Our large dogs can be a bit intimidating for visiting pets, so we understand to need to have "doggy" introductions done in a controlled manner and only when a/if appropriate.
Cache Creek is a 25 minute drive away, and Ashcroft is 40 minutes. You can find all your basic necessities in these towns. There are grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, and a hardware store. PLEASE NOTE: These are the closest towns and areas for grocery shopping, so please arrive at the cabin prepared! This is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise and there are endless areas to explore! Many people enjoy swimming in the lake on hot days, although most of the lakeshore is private property, with just a couple of treed public lakefront areas.

A great place to start making family memories. Located in Marble Canyon between Lillooet and Cache Creek on gorgeous Pavilion Lake. A great dock - awesome fishing and although a tad on the cold side great swimming. Great ice fishing and skating.
1100 square feet - (102 sq. meters) with 400 square feet of covered deck. Gas range with convection oven -dishwasher and laundry.
Great hiking, boating and mountain biking...and did I mention the fishing? The nearest store is 30km away so bring what you will need,

I letti erano molto comodi. Negozio di alimentari a soli 20 minuti di distanza. Ritorneremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo.

    Ciaran2019-09-15T00:00:00Z

Welcome to Fort Waddington! A Rustic Cabin on 2/3 of an acre in beautiful BC. Quiet and Serene. Camping w/Electricity. NO Running Water. Fully stocked kitchen and wood Stove for the most amazing meals! Fire Pit in the back. Outhouse (Outdoor Toilet) and shower in the second bedroom (gravity). Fully stocked kitchen. Across from the lake. Steps away from access road. Lot backs onto buffalo farm. Close to Provincial Park - Boat Launch. Bring water for drinking and washing.
Welcome to Fort Waddington! This cabin was built by our family in 1970 and holds many great memories of summers growing up by Green lake. What to expect: All of the furnishings are vintage and original to when the cabin was built - handmade blankets by my grandmother and homemade curtains. Our cabin is about a 20 to 30-minute drive in from 70 Mile General Store where you can get most daily food items, toiletries, and gifts. The woodburning stove will make the most amazing roasts you have ever tasted! The cabin has been retrofitted for a gravity shower - huge relief when being in the woods for several days. Fill blue water barrel with warm water and place it on the shelf. The shower nozzle has a lever to stop and start the water flow. The water barrel behind the kitchen can be filled with water for washing only. Please, note-there is not actively running water. Guests must bring their own water supply. The campsite is open in the spring and you can fill your water barrels using the provincial campsite taps. Fully stocked kitchen for a comfortable stay any time of the year! The quietest and most serene place to unwind and de-stress! Labour exchanges accepted - message for details or inquiries If you need help or haven't used a wood stove, please don't hesitate to ask. It can be finicky in the cold. Best to heat it up slowly with kindling - place in the back so the heat can rise and draw the smoke up. Then build the fire slowly to the front. Keep warm so the smoke doesn't come into the cabin. It can also help to heat up the cabin with the radiant warmer first. It is a temperature balancing act. When using the wood stove, please remember to empty the Ash container so that smoke can rise and air can get in. Also, smoke may come into the cabin when the stove is cold. When it heats up, it will draw the smoke up the chimney and out. What to bring: -Water supply for washing and drinking -Linens -Basic Toiletries -Hygiene products -Food -extra wood -fire starter and/or paper to start a hot fire in the cold What to expect: It is like tenting but with electricity, a bed to sleep on, and a kitchen to cook in. It is as clean as a 40 year old cabin with retro furniture can be. There may be dust and surfaces may need a quick wipe if it has been awhile since the last guest. If something needs tending to, please let us know and we will send someone in. Note - in the winter, the ground freezes and the kitchen sink does not like to drain. Please dump water waste outside. Many of the photos are a credit to past guests who stayed at Fort Waddington over the Christmas Holiday season.

Applewood Imagination Studio/Guest House is a place to rest, write music, paint, create art etc.. It has a fenced yard.
The internal door leads to the laundry room and pottery studio, where we create. You might hear noises from the washing machine/dryer and the potter's wheel. The pottery studio is between the house and the 2-storey building, from outside it looks like a continuous building. When you hear us in the pottery - come in and see how we turn clay into beautiful pieces.
From the house you are able to see the magnificent Fraser River valley with mountains on both sides.

Lillooet is located in one of the most geographically and geologically dramatic and rich regions on earth. One translation of the name Lillooet is "Where many rivers meet". Lillooet is not just a place to visit; it is a place to explore. Lillooet is located close to Whistler, but enjoys small town charms and prices.
Our Guest House is located with a beautiful view of the Fraser River, where BC’s history as the world’s biggest supplier of jade began. There are two large jade boulders at the Guest House, and 30 jade monuments around town. Jade Valley Guest House, located on the ground floor, is within walking distance of most services on Main Street. We are situated right behind the Fire hall, which is opposite the historic United Church on Main street.
Downtown location on quiet one-way street, overlooking the Fraser river. In the apartment above lives the landlord, Erdmann, the retired art-teacher, potter, philosopher and jade lover; You are welcome to talk to Erdmann about local history and rocks, he will gladly share his knowledge :) If you are interested in seeing how we work with clay on the potter's wheel, ask us and we will happily demonstrate it and you are welcome to try working on the wheel yourself.

Use our little RV for a quick stop on your way through the area or as the place to relax after hiking or mountain biking in the area. You can make your own meals in our kitchen which is equipped with a gas stove and a fridge. We have all of the essential utensils, and an electric kettle and toaster. You'll find coffee and tea, powdered milk and sugar to get you going in the morning. We also have salt, pepper, oil and vinegar and ice ready for you. Enjoy air conditioning and wifi and we're hooked up to the house's electricity. We supply you with filtered water for drinking. Enjoy a hot shower. The beds are comfortable and the linens and pillows are new. We could not be a more convenient location. It's a five minute walk to Main Street Lillooet where you can shop, bank or get a coffee and treat at the wonderful bakery cafe. There are several hikes nearby, from easy to hard or you could canoe or SUP at Seton Lake 10 minutes away. It's also less than 10 minutes to drive to Fort Berens Winery, which you can see from our patio. Our place won't suit someone who wants to party, though you could sit outside all night and just take in the wonderful view and the stars, of which there are plenty. Since we're on a dead end street and there's no house facing across from us, you will find it quite private. We can shop ahead for you as Lillooet stores can close early. We have a list to make it easy for you. If we're here and you're staying longer we can arrange for you to use our laundry for a small fee. Phora is an outdoor enthusiast who has lived in the area for almost 30 years, she is a font of information about the area. We look forward to making your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible!
The RV is located on a dead end street. A beautiful park with a gorgeous view is just a half a block down the street. It takes five minutes down a path to reach Lillooet's main street and shops. We have an amazing view of Fountain Ridge from the table outside the RV. There are no houses across the street, so it's quite private.

Jiyoung and Chris split their time between the City and the Country. While we love our City life, we... perhaps even more, love coming to Lillooet to enjoy the peaceful, beautiful view. The town motto, is "Guaranteed Rugged".... but that is only the view.

The Meadow Lake Roadhouse is an historic, fully-restored, 1,500 square foot, log roadhouse. It sleeps six guests comfortably.
The Roadhouse was originally constructed in the 1860s. It then served as a saloon and stopping point for gold-hunters; later as bunkhouse for cowboys moving herds. Food and drinks were served by the kitchen while simple comforts and respire were offered upstairs in the bedrooms. In the early 2000s, the house was fully disassembled and rebuilt with the two bottom rounds of logs replaced in the hopes that this historic house will survive another 150 years. The Roadhouse has a large covered entry porch, with views of the Marble Range. The 860 square foot main floor features a large living room, kitchen and bathroom. In the living room are a wood burning stove, a tv with vhs player and a selection of movies and the house library. The four-piece washroom of the house features a walk-in shower and an old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub. The Roadhouse kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. It has ample fridge, storage and preparation space. It is equipped with a vintage wood burning stove and oven and a modern range with stove and oven. Off the kitchen is a large deck with a table and chairs for meals outside. The two bedrooms are located on the second floor. The master bedroom contains a queen bed with Endy mattress and is made up with a feather duvet and handmade quilts. In the second bedroom are a double bed and two twin beds also with Endy mattresses, duvets and quilts. In addition to the wood burning stove, the house is heated by electric radiators. Wifi is available at the Roadhouse and there is full cell coverage in Meadow Lake Guest Ranch area. EV charging is available at the nearby Jefferson Ranch House; guests are asked to bring all their own chargers and adaptors. Outside the house is a horse shelter and turn-out. Please call ahead to arrange Bunk and Bale.
In the 1800s, settlements grew in this area with the development of the Cariboo Wagon Road and discovery of gold. The Cariboo Wagon Road followed the original Hudson’s Bay Harrison Trail, reaching north from Lillooet (Mile 0) to the Cariboo Gold Fields. Beginning at Lillooet, the road travelled 47 miles, over Pavilion Mountain, past Kelly Lake, to Cut-Off Valley, where it converged with the Yale-Cariboo Road. The community formed at the confluence of the two roads became known as 47 Mile House. In 1863 the town site was officially renamed “Clinton” by Queen Victoria in honour of Lord Henry Pelham Clinton. During the Cariboo Gold Rush, the location of the settlement made it a busy junction and an ideal resting place for weary travellers and miners travelling to and from the gold fields of Barkerville. Once “Gold Fever” subsided, the ranching industry developed. Some of the original ranches such as Maiden Creek Ranch, Mound Ranch and Pollard Ranch are still operational today. In the early 1950’s forestry became the mainstay of the economy. At one time, over 20 bush mills and saw mills operated in the area. Consolidation in the 1970’s led to only one operation surviving. This mill, known as Chasm Sawmills, a division of West Fraser Mills, closed in 2019. Since the mid-1970’s, the population of Clinton has slowly increased. Today Clinton and the area boast many facilities and landscaped parks, while still retaining the flavour and appearance of a frontier town. On Main Street, you will find quaint shops, hotel/motels, pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and gas stations, where one can find hidden treasures, grab a great meal or refresh and refuel.

This space was decorated with business travel in mind. New folks to the area in transition to moving to a permanent residence town. Tourist travel is welcome to explore our beautiful community. The minimum stay requirement is due to cost of cleaning the space (68ft x 12ft). There is full deep cleaning after every guest stay. Kitchen has all the basics for cooking/eating, linens n towels are provided for 4. High quality white linens and towels are use. Darker towels and linens also provided.
The location of this living space is a close walking distance to shopping, the HUB (a variety of programming for youths and adults) and swimming. The surrounding area is within the bunch grass and ponderosa pine biogeoclimatic zones with rolling hills, cactus and big sage. The Ashcroft area offers plenty of home grown vegetables at Desert Hills. A local favourite swimming area called the slough has a hoodoo style canyon. Lots of short day hikes within the village and Barnes Lake close by. Small businesses, mining, transportation and a growing economy with the development of the Ashcroft terminal shapes the pulse of this small community. Ashcroft is tucked away in the Thompson River Valley away from the busy Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 3 kilometres. (Take 97C just west of Cache Creek or Cornwall Rd at the Travel centre with Tim Hortons).
All amenities are walking distance from this location.

    Crystal2019-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Questo posto è molto ben tenuto, pulito e super accogliente! Ha tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Asciugamani puliti, stoviglie per cucinare, TV, wifi, comodo divano, letti super comodi, servizio lavanderia, elettrodomestici nuovi di zecca ... è un posto bellissimo! Grazie ancora Dixie !!!

    Jodie2019-03-08T00:00:00Z

Pedal boat and two kayaks available for use at one's own risk. Pets are welcome but additional fee applies. Small beach area. One of five lots on the bay. One of two lakeside cabins (Green Lake waterfront cabin)) on this property. Will do special offers if you wish to book both cabins or have privacy.
Nice setting in a private bay with your own beach, one of five lots in the bay.
Great Cariboo get away, refreshing swims, leisurely walks.

This is a spacious, clean three bedroom home on one floor with all of the amenities you need. One full bathroom with tub & shower, plus one half-bath in the Master bedroom. We can arrange for additional cleaning for longer stays (over 4 days). No food is included but the kitchen is fully equipped and functional and the grocery store is only 750m away. Quiet, residential neighbourhood close enough to walk to downtown. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic views from the bright interior or the deck!
Lillooet is known for it's exceptionally long growing season, warm, dry climate in Spring/Summer and Fall, and is becoming known for it's vinyards, with award-winning Fort Berens winery as well as more opening in Spring 2020. Looking over the mighty Fraser River, Lillooet is surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains and valleys and has a rich history and culture from the St'at'imc Nation, the gold rush, and mining. In Spring and summer the tourism market is flourishing, with more people wanting to experience the beauty of the area under warm, sunny skies. From this house you can enjoy 180 degree views from the kitchen, dining and living room and watch as eagles soar outside your window. Sit on the deck to enjoy the unobstructed views of the Fraser & the mountains beyond. A quick 10 minute drive will take you to the beautiful beach on Seton Lake or to the award-winning Fort Berens winery, or drive along the awe-inspiring Texas Creek road to visit the Lillooet Sheep Pasture golf course and more wineries & ranches.
Park Drive has some of the best views in Lillooet, and the homes are spread out so that you have unobstructed views. Due to the elevation and layout of the property, there is not a backyard (too steep) so it is not recommended to have young children playing alone in the yard. There are a couple of great coffee shops in town (my favorite is Abundance) and we have a hiking book available to show guests the best places to go exploring in the area.
