“High class, exclusive and expensive are just a few of the words that locals use to describe Bangsar Shopping Centre – a quiet fixture within the affluent Bangsar neighbourhood. Opened in the early ‘90s, it’s been newly-refurbished and though other malls have mushroomed along nearby Jalan Telawi (Bangsar Village I & I), it’s still a favourite with the local residents. Also known as BSC to residents, the mall features over 322,000sqft of retail space and its portfolio of stores includes international brands and high-end boutiques of local designers. A favourite haunt of fu thais (Cantonese for rich married ladies), this mall’s the retail address for the area’s well heeled. ”

“This mall has banks, f&b chain (Chatime and McDonalds, Starbucks) and offices. Parking is a little dark though. Hopefully they will change it. On every Thursday, they have a flea market which sells almost everything here. From food to clothes to accessories. Even fresh fruits and vegetables! For those working moms/dads/who stay nearby or in Mont Kiara area, do drop by here for supply and good food. There are quite a few stalls which sells food. Local cuisine and asian cuisines. Korean food too!”

“WIP... from once a “Work In Progress” to now “Whipped Into Place”, an international lifestyle destination with a coastal resort ambience. Its urban-tropic garden design provides the perfect ambience for an exceptional relaxing experience. Luscious cuisine featuring a hearty selection of Western, Asian and Northern Indian cuisine will more than satisfy the palate. The Clam Bar complements with innovative cocktails, premium champagnes, wines, spirits and features KL’s widest range of Mojitos. All these coupled with high service standards translate into all the right ingredients in making WIP a firm favourite.”
