Just like home...but in Boulder and more fun! This rental has a private entrance and is the North (back) wing of the property. It boasts under-floor heating, a/c mini-splits for cooling, a fully equipped kitchen and luxury bathroom with huge sunken tub/shower. There is also a lovely private back patio where you can grill, dine and relax. The front bedroom has a DWR king bed. Well appointed, comfortable and stylish--all inclusive--linens, utensils, towels, wifi, and Sony TV flat screen with cable and Netflix. The location is great (at 26th and Mapleton) with convenient access to grocery, shopping, trails, and downtown Boulder. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please note, both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor while the bathroom is located on the main floor with the open concept living/dining. Street parking is pretty painless and plentiful. Listing reflects available beds. This house is located in Boulder's Residential Mixed Use zone so the legal occupancy is a family or 4 unrelated people if the owners are not in town during your booking. Otherwise, the occupancy is 3 unrelated people.
  • My sister and I really enjoyed our stay! We had been planning on staying out late on Pearl Street but we ended up being so tired that we stayed in and watched Netflix on the really nice tv. The space was very clean and had everything we could need, even coffee!

  • Great hosts, best getaway!

  • We stayed in the Hardman-Murphy's studio and had a great time! It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a weekend trip to Boulder. We cooked one meal in the studio and ate out the rest of the weekend. Everything was great!

  • This place is a total jewel. Everything is so mod, clean and new and it was the perfect weekend get-away spot for my girlfriend and I. We ended up mostly hanging in the apartment and relaxing, but the location is also fantastic for getting to great Boulder restaurants etc. The Hardman-Murphy's were wonderful hosts, we'd love to come back!

  • I would recommend anyone to stay at this studio guesthouse. My husband and I stayed here for 5 night and it was PERFECT. Everything you see here is exactly what it looks like. The modern chic design is so welcoming and they even take time to leave fresh flowers and varieties of coffees for you. My husband LOVED the fact that they had Netflix available right on the tv. Asa was such a great host, our stay here was absolutely flawless and we would say here again in a heartbeat.

    Brenda2012-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was amazing. It was perfect, it was clean and decorated in great taste. It was also very close to biking trails and to the shopping areas. I would definately stay here again. I didnt want to leave!!!

    Sasha 2012-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was short but sweet. The owners have thought of everything you need for a stay in Boulder. Comfy bed and pillows, a clean well thought out bathroom and kitchenette. I would stay there again.

    Alan2014-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nifty small apartment tucked into a remodeled garage. Upscale furnishings and decor. Comfortable bed for 2. On street parking. Safe, quiet area. Asa is an excellent host(friendly, helpful).

Our home is located at 9,250 ft in elevation 10 minutes away from the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, which boasts amazing views of the Continental Divide. We are also close to one of the entrances of the Rocky Mountain National Park. In addition, we are 30 minutes away from Eldora Ski Resort. However, given that we run our own business, we are quite busy most of the time. As such, please know that we will not be the type to entertain you all day. We are "on the go" most days. As such, our space is not climate controlled. We don’t have air conditioning. If you are looking for a luxury bed & breakfast experience, our space might not be the right fit for you. We truly embrace mountain living as it comes, cutting wood with an axe and shoveling snow manually. Our home is by no means perfect given that we are two women taking care of all remodeling projects. We are constantly improving the space as time & budget allows us to do so. 7. We have dogs in our property. They are very friendly & well behaved. 8. We have plenty of space to accommodate your outdoor equipment such as skies, bikes, etc. We have extra bikes available for use. Our place is a beautiful, renovated, 100 year old cabin! Originally from downtown Boulder. It is on 2 acres of land next to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. There is a private, stocked lake in our neighborhood with a row boat for guests to use. The house has been completely renovated and has all modern amenities but it also has beautiful original features. We have a wood burning stove and fire pit in the yard.
The house was originally located in downtown boulder on Mapleton Avenue about 100 years ago. It was then transported to this land in 1983 and the owner built a basement with two bedrooms and added a modern bathroom upstairs. It’s very unique because many of the original features still exist in the house. The 2 bedrooms downstairs are quite large and we put in a double sliding door in the main bedroom so you can wake up watching the snow fall or the wildflowers sway. It’s incredibly beautiful. Our home is also located a 1 minute walk to Hidden Lake which is a private fishing lake with an amazing view of the Indian Peaks. You can access the Indian Peaks from Brainard Lake which is 3 miles from our front door. There are numerous other trailheads all within 5 miles of our house. Estes Park is a 40 minutes drive and Boulder is only 30 minutes away. We are about 35 minutes to Eldora ski resort also! And Nederland is about 25 minutes away. There is so much to do close by, it’s an amazing location. Should you want to rock climb, we are close to St Vrain canyon, boulder canyon, lumpy ridge, Rocky Mountain National Park and other climbs in between all these destinations. The Millsite Inn is a full bar and restaurant only 3 miles from the house. There is also an amazing Italian restaurant in Ward called Morocco’s. Allenspark also has really great pizza! Take out or dine in!
The neighborhood is private but people are very friendly. Not many people live here year round so depending on what time you stay you may see no one for a few days or you may see 10 or so people enjoying the lake!

If you are looking for a house to settle in, cook three meals a day, bring all your favorite appliances and just hang out in our house all day, we recommend renting your own house/space. Our house has a very communal feel to it. We work from home occasionally as we run our own business. As such, our set up will not work for those looking for a place/house to hang out and relax all day. Our only few very poor experiences come from those looking for a house to settle in rather than looking for a room to access our wilderness and natural beauty. 3. We live below an artistic funky mountain town called Ward located 15 minutes away from Nederland and 25 minutes away from Boulder. We have a great italian restaurant (Marrocco's Family Dining) & an art gallery. We are located 8 minutes away from the Indian Peaks Wilderness which offers a rugged wilderness experience of jagged windswept peaks, alpine tundra, and small glaciers. We have infinite snowshoe, backcountry and xc/nordic trails during the winter.
  • A place to be especially for solo travelers. Adriana is very friendly and cordial. Location is very good. The town of Ward can look eerie at first glance but you realize that it is a friendly town that quiet people live. House was slightly tricky to find around sunset so be sure to arrive in the morning times. Communicate early because you don't get internet connection when you are up in the mountain.

  • I had an amazing time in Ward. Adriana and Amy are a fantastic people, ready to help out when you need them (and not to forget their roommate Sara). On my first day, Adriana gave me an overview of the nearby lake hikes and a few recommendations for food and other necessities. That set me up for a great holiday exploring some of the close as well as farther away hikes. Thankfully, I could borrow snowshoes, otherwise the hiking would have come to a quick end :) I would come back anytime!!!

  • Adriana and Amy are wonderful hosts with a beautiful house. My sister and I stayed at their place for a couple of days and we had a very pleasant experience. Being passionate about hiking in the rocky mountain area, they had some nice tips on places that we should explore. I would be happy to stay again at their place in the future.

  • We had an extremely nice experience with Adriana and Amy... The house is amazing and it's exactly how they described it in the profile. We had privacy but we could also talk to them and ask for suggestions. Also, they really know the area and recommended great areas for hiking. If anyone is planning to stay around, this is a very nice choice and 100% recommended! Thanks a lot for this amazing weekend! Muchas gracias!

  • Amy and Adriana are amazing hosts. They made sure that i know how to get to their place and were super flexible to be ready for my arrival although I made my booking truly last minute. Their place is great. I liked the artistic vibe of it. The room is spacious and clean - so is the bathroom. The place is located in the small town of Ward, very close to the Rocky Mountain trailheads, so it's ideal spot for hikers. I really enjoyed my stay here

    Anna2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Adriana and Amy's place is a wonderfully unique Air bnb set up in a remote village above Boulder. The house itself is as described, a large and creative space with huge wood burner (was not an issue staying warm at all, despite freezing temps for the week we stayed), easy kitchen access and lots of cosy nooks and crannies to read and relax after a tough day in the mountains. Ward itself is an escape from the masses of Boulder and Denver and is a great remote location for mountain lovers looking for something a little different, with plenty of backcountry and piste experiences close by, plus hiking trails, 14,000 ers and alternative little mountain towns to explore. The room itself is not huge but perfect for two people, and the stone shower heavenly. Loved the artistic touches around the house which inspired us about our own living situations back in Edinburgh. Amy & Adriana couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of backcountry ski advice and inviting us to join in social dinners with lovely friends. Could not recommend this beautiful house enough and we hope to be back some day.

  • We stayed with Ariana and Amy for two nights, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Their home is central to boulder, RMNP and Estes park. Even before we arrived, the hosts were giving us tips on exciting hikes and day trips nearby. The home was peaceful, clean, and vibrant. One piece of advice is to follow the directions that Adriana gives you, not directions your GPS gives you! Overall, We felt very comfortable there, and would stay with them again in a heartbeat!!

  • This little cabin is one of the most delightful places I've ever stayed. Exceptional hosts, a lovely view, and it's seclusion make it the perfect mountain getaway.

  • We enjoyed our stay so much. Better than expected and the perfect way to get off the grid! Jo and Lindsay were so helpful and welcoming, I hope all Airbnb hosts are this nice! So quiet, and relaxing, we already want to go back :)

    Daniel2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jo is a helpful host who knows the local area well and has a beautiful property. Jo and Lindsey welcomed us in and gave us a brief tour of where to hike and explore then politely left us to our own devices and gave us privacy all weekend. The cabin kitchenette had every dish, pan, spatula, kettle and more that you would need to make any meals you could at home; along with some minor supplies for your convenience in case you forget any staples like sugar for the coffee. There are multiple trails to explore with some that reward you with some stunning views and the chance to observe the local wildlife. We stumbled upon a moose taking a bath in one of the ponds on the property while strolling the trails! We were looking for a place to conveniently camp that didn't sacrifice any of the experience of being in nature. The Little Raven balanced those needs and provided more. The campsite is completely private and many conveniences are provided like a fire-pit, hammock, tables, chairs, water and more. On our last night at the Little Raven, a moose and her calf walked right through the campsite! It was incredible to say the least and we were stunned as they casually walked by. The mother moose moved past our SUV and she was easily taller by another foot. The mother moose and calf didn't hang around and quickly disappeared down another trail, but it was an amazing surprise encounter. We really enjoyed our time at the Little Raven and plan to make a return trip.

  • Great experience. The location is perfect and it's a beautiful place to get away and relax. The hike to the bench is so worth it. Absolutely beautiful.

  • Such a cute little getaway tucked in the woods. My husband and I spent the night there headed from Nederland towards Estes Park the next day. It was a perfect little spot. The cabin is so cozy and really lets you enjoy the mountains in the winter while still staying nice and toasty. Being from Denver, it was the perfect (and really accessible) mountain retreat!

    Natalie2018-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was placed in the serene and secluded wooded area. This was unique experience which my girlfriend and I loved.

  • What a great experience! I contacted Joleen to see if we could use her cabin the night before my surprise proposal to my now fiancé. Not only was Joleen accommodating, but she also helped me plan out the proposal by sending me a bunch of information on the area and giving me ideas. The location is great and her instructions and attention to detail made our stay fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better location to camp. It had everything we needed and a lot of nice touches that made it even more special. I would recommend this place to everyone and we definitely want to come back!

  • We had a wonderful time during our stay at the " Little Raven" . Took some nice hikes with our dog, and ate great food around the fire. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Perfectly located between Lyons and Estes Park, we offer a very comfortable queen bedroom, a private bath, sunrise views, a private living room including a separate entrance, access to the deck with a wide open overlook, and 8.5 acres without another house in sight. The charm of gorgeous and peaceful Pinewood Springs can be devoured by visiting one of the two wonderful local restaurants: The Cherry Company (serving pizza, pie, coffee, beer, wine), and Villa Tatra (a highly rated polish chalet).
Our home is a warm and friendly place. There is more room than we need and we are happy to be able to share it with you. The view from our house is far and wide with not a single house in sight and includes plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the woods. We offer a comfortable queen bedroom with a private bathroom, living room and entrance. For extra guests we can offer a mattress topper on the floor or a pack-n-play in the bedroom itself. Each morning we take in the sunrise from our east windows and deck. You don’t even have to leave the bedroom!
". . . .a quiet and peaceful mountain hamlet. Pinewood Springs, an unincorporated mountain community in the Rocky Mountains. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of Roosevelt National Forest. The National Forest offers many hiking trails, biking trails and hunting opportunities. Mountain biking is quite popular. Pinewood Springs is located along Colorado State Highway 36 between Lyons Colorado and Estes Park Colorado. It is 12 miles from Estes Park and 8 miles from Lyons. Villa Tatra, a local gourmet restaurant, also produces wonderful smoked salmon and trout. Hours are infrequent…I usually call a few days ahead and see what the schedule is. The restauranteurs are from eastern Europe and have an interesting store in the establishment filled with hand-crafts, pictures and even some amber jewelry from the “old country”. The entire area is a wildlife corridor for elk, deer, coyote, smaller animals and the occasional bear. Just 20 to 30 minutes away is all the big traditional shopping and malls in the neighboring towns of Longmont and Boulder. One hour away is Denver and Denver International Airport. Going 15 minutes west along Highway 36, you will find Estes Park, Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park and the continental divide. Estes Park has 8000 permanent residents and offers several good restaurants, a super market, movie theaters, a robust art community, 2 golf courses, cross country skiing and of course more hiking and wild life. Be careful of the elk jams that materialize on the local roads. Just 8 miles down the road to Lyons, a wonderful community packed with great restaurants. The Little Thompson River runs through, Pinewood Springs, formerly known as Little Elk Meadows, and provides us with water almost year around." Tom Adams, local real estate agent.
  • Beautiful place way up on a mountain. Private and clean room and bathroom.

  • Hilary and John are a lovely couple with a darling two year old daughter. Their house is beautifully hidden in the wilderness with magnificent views. They were kind enough to share coffee in the morning and let us cook a huge pot of corn from the Farmer's Market in Estes Park.

    Melinda2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Hilary and John provided a lot of great recommendations for hikes and sights to see. The room is quaint enough and clean. It also provides a lovely view of the local scenery, as well as gives an air of seclusion to your time in the area. It also provides relative access to two adjacent towns (Lyons and Estes, respectively.)

  • This is a beautiful home in a secluded location surrounded by gorgeous views! Hilary and John have the sweetest family and were very generous with their time and excellent recommendations. It was an absolute treat to stay here ❤

  • John and Hilary have a gorgeous home just at the end of a small road. Over 8 Acres offer amazing views. It was the perfect scenic getaway for my husband and I! Their precious baby was a pleasure to meet and we felt so welcome in their home. My husband said he hopes we grow up to be just like them, but we're about the same age, so we've got some work to do! :-)

  • Hilary and John's home is wonderful and perfect for exploring RMNP. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time hitting the trails and their home was warm and welcoming after a long day of hiking. We Loved how secluded it was and we got to see spectacular views of the stars from their balcony. Hilary and John were wonderful hosts and very helpful with recommending trails and things to do in the park. We definitely would love to visit again and highly recommend staying with this wonderful family.

    Crystal2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Hilary and John were wonderful hosts as they invited us into their home. The bedroom and restroom were well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the scenic view from our bedroom and the deck. If you are looking for a quick get away from the city, I highly recommend this place.

  • Beautiful out-of-the-way place. Lots of privacy. The bedroom and bathroom has everything you need. Very comfortable and you can't beat the view from the bedroom window.

  • Creeksong Cabin is a great place for anybody looking to enjoy the beauty of the Colorado landscape. It is a perfect jumping off point to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and is only 30 min away from Boulder. Kay was an excellent host, providing all of the relevant information before arrival and beyond. The place was very clean and cozy. The babbling brook increases the sense of relaxation. Wifi is available as well for those looking to stay connected. Creeksong Cabin is perfect for anybody trying to escape the city life and enjoy the great outdoors. Given the chance, i would definitely stay here again.

  • Great space for a weekend getaway. Sits right next a babbling creek. So beautiful.

    Alana2017-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Kay's place this past week. The location was perfect with a stream running just outside the window. There were trails nearby for hiking, one within walking distance from the cabin. There was a binder in the cabin with lots of information on trails in the area, places to eat and things to do. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet get away in the mountains.

    Jody2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kay and Sue were great hosts - very helpful and communicative...especially after we locked the keys in our car and had to wait in their driveway for hours until AAA showed up. The cabin was just the right size for the two of us, and was in a great location for us. Would definitely stay here again (and carry a spare).

    Jarold2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back. It's peaceful and beautiful there! We loved listening to the creek and with all the windows in the cabin, we got to see a great horned owl next to the creek! The toilet takes a little getting used to, but we had zero problems with it. Would have enjoyed having a fire because it was supposed to snow that night, but were told after arrival it was too early in the season to have one. Maybe I missed it in the ad, but it would have been good to know ahead of time there were limits to when we could use the fireplace. Overall, we had a lovely and peaceful time! What a beautiful area, and the cabin was cozy and clean!

    Keesha2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • A very peaceful and relaxing cabin. Great for those who want to get away from the city. The cabin is nearly fully stocked with anything you may have forgotten. There's a beautiful trail up the mountain that's about a 2hr excursion up and down. Only a 15min drive to Downtown Boulder if you're looking for a nice dinner, groceries or a walk down Pearl Street. Kay and Sue were absent for the better part, but always there for questions or issues. We will definitely be back. Thank you Kay for the beautiful memories.

    Ollie2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect! We really enjoyed our time here and finally just relaxed :) Know the feeling- you, resting in bed and listening the creek? No? So you definitely have to visit this place! Beautiful and quiet place with just nature around.

    Jitka2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kay was so welcoming and warm! She was quick to respond with updates and directions for our stay. The Creeksong Cabin was beautiful, with the sounds of the "babbling brook" all night. It is the perfect place to escape from city life and enjoy nature. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed from cookware to bathroom amenities. My partner and I had a blast and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The Cabin is so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Boulder. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back soon. Thanks so much Kay!

Rustic, small, basic, affordable cabin. Backs up to national forest, 10 minutes from Wild Basin Trail Head of Rocky Mountain National Park, 20 minutes from Estes Park. No WIFI, no TV, no cell reception (yay!); perfect base camp for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the secluded mountain life for a few days.
The bathroom and kitchen share a room (our long term renters affectionately call it the "bitchen") and there is a door that separates it from the main room. It's a small, yet efficient space with a shower, sink, toilet, mini fridge, decent counter space and almost everything you need out of a kitchen. It is supplied with everything you need to eat, plus a coffee maker, mini fridge, hotplate toaster, toaster oven, sauce pans and skillets. It is a tight space, but if you can handle it you can cook almost anything! There is a grill outside and propane is provided. Backs up to national forest. Playground at the bottom of the hill, behind The Old Gallery, for children.
Allenspark has three restaurants and a gift shop, and a community center with free Verizon cell service and wifi. There is a trail head into Rocky Mountain National Park here. FOOD There is a pizza restaurant (The Rock Creek Tavern) and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (Meadow Mountain Cafe) in town, just across the highway from us. Otherwise, there is no food available. We do not have a grocery store within 20 miles of us so please come prepared. GAS We do not have a gas stations within 20 miles of us either, so please come prepared.
  • This was a cute, lovely place to stay, And a perfect base camp for our exploration of Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin itself was cozy, and there was a nice outdoor table for having dinner. The little café in town with the Tibetan prayer flags hanging outside is a nice place to eat.

    Christian2015-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • My boys and wife had fun at the the cozy cabin. Its definitely quaint, and requires contentment in smaller spaces. Even in the rain we enjoyed playing board games and reading books late into the night with the surrounding nature to add to the cozy ambiance.

    Geronimo2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is perfect for two people. We brought an air mattress to put on to of the pull out couch and it was as comfortable as the bed. The shower was hot and felt so good after hiking all day. We had all the privacy we wanted and will definitely be back! The wood stove us perfect for chilly nights and the woods in back of the property were perfect for walking our four legged friend. Two big thumbs up!

    Joelle2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at the cozy mountain cabin. It was everything we needed as a base camp for a few days in the mountains. The location is perfect and it was isolated, in a good way. The cabin itself had more amenities than we were expecting and was very comfortable for my wife and I. I highly recommend staying there if you want a getaway from the tourist experience you would get at a fancy resort.

    Alex2015-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and relaxing. Recommended if you want to stay a bit off the grid

    Anthony2015-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect! It was the perfect home base to explore the area, yet quiet enough to truly feel the peace and quiet of the mountains. Having our own space made staying in Colorado a true pleasure. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Awesome bed, kitchen, bathroom (we love the bitchin, it's a truly unique experience), and a little patio area to take in the sunrises and sunsets. Absolutely perfect!

    Diane2015-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely cabin, private and surrounded by woods on 3 sides. We loved sitting our for cocktails and breakfast. There is a grill. It is also very close to some National Park trailheads (10 minutes by car), so we got some good hiking in with minimal driving. Both the bed and the sofa bed are very comfortable. Rachel is very easy to communicate with, and check-in and check-out are straightforward. Some notes: if you want to use two beds, remind Rachel before you arrive. Also, you need to move the sofa to extend it and then the room is divided into two areas by the two beds (which touch -- this is a cozy cabin!). Finally, be sure to bring all you need for the kitchen, other than salt and ketchup. All this was no problem for us, I just wanted to point it out.

    Owen2015-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was exactly as advertised. Not luxurious, but comfortable, and just what we needed. The photos don't show how close the cabin is to the hosts' house, but I only saw them a couple of times, and there was plenty of privacy for us. Overall, we had a great stay.

Cozy cabin for two, equipped with everything you will need for your stay in the mountains. The front porch opens to a wonderful view of the Raymond valley that offers hiking, fishing, horseback riding and is close to Estes Park, RMNP and Lyons.
Studio set up with a partial kitchen (no stove or oven). Essentials include kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker, small fridge, toaster and bathroom with shower.
We are located in the small, summer community of Raymond located 15 miles outside of Lyons in the Rocky Mountains along the St. Vrain River and off the beaten path. It is quiet, yet close to Estes Park, Lyons, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Indian Peaks Wilderness.
  • We might never go back to Estes Park again... We wanted something a less busy this time... and boy did we get it. This adorable cabin is well equipped and hidden away in the forest on a mountain by a stream that drowns out the noise of anything else happening nearby. We were close to Roosevelt National Forest so hiked their for the first time - AMAZING - just as good as RMNP but less busy. Tabitha was wonderful; magically appearing whenever we needed her. Management was gracious, giving us an early check in (after a truncated vacation due to work troubles) that made all the difference in the world to make the trip seem longer. This cabin is best suited for one person or a couple like us that really likes each other - we even had our dog (45lbs) with us, which made it a bit crowded, but the three of us really managed quite well. Its adorable inside and out. The last night we finally heard and saw other neighbors - some younger kids who hadn't been taught not to slam the screen door. So tip: don't be a jerk to your neighbors and let the screen door slam. It may be unavoidable sometimes, but most of the time you can shut it normally. Another tip: check out the cute town of Nederland and Roosevelt National Forest if you haven't. Loved this place, we will be back.

  • We had a great time at the bunk house. Nice and relaxing to hear the creek from our cabin. Jerry is a very nice man and welcomed us to the cabin. I also liked the handcrafted cutting boards Jerry makes and has for sale in the shop.

  • The cabin is wonderful and quaint and the area is beautiful- the perfect getaway for a quick trip out of the city

    Kristin2014-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying here. The location was the most beautiful place I've ever been, and the lack of cell service provided a really nice break from the rest of humanity. I only ran into two inconveniences while staying here: My car get stuck in the provided parking space (which wasn't shoveled/plowed), but, after a while, the host helped me dig it out. (I would definitely recommend bringing a shovel and some gravel, though, just in case they aren't available). The fire was a little difficult to get started, since the wood was located under an awning, but not covered with a tarp, or otherwise protected from the snow (and was wet in places because of that), but the hosts provided enough dry kindling and newspaper to get it started. They also provided a portable fan, which was a great tool to help provide airflow to the fire while I was trying to get the wood going. Other than those two things, my stay was perfect. I was able to make a booking only a day or two before I needed to stay there (very last minute), and the hosts were very responsive and communicative. They provided some great amenities, like a teapot to keep on the stove (to make the air less dry via the evaporating water), a coffeepot (and coffee and tea), and four really soft, full-body towels. Check-out is really relaxed, and consists of cleaning up after yourself and leaving the key to the cabin on a table inside, so you aren't bound by any time restraints (other than needing to leave before 11am) and don't need to seek out the hosts in order to leave. I would definitely recommend this listing (and these hosts) to anyone looking to rent a place in Colorado, even if they weren't planning on visiting this area. The beauty is worth the extra bit of a drive.

  • The Bunk House is great! This was my second time staying here and it's the perfect cabin and location to unplug and relax. Joyce and Jerry were both very nice and helpful before and during my stay. And the people living in the area are welcoming and friendly. The St. Vrain River is gorgeous and I thought it was really peaceful to listen to at night and when waking up.

The Village of Allenspark, Colorado Along one of Colorado’s most beautiful scenic by-ways, the rustic mountain village of Allenspark sits at the top of the St Vrain Canyon and looks out on majestic Long’s Peak. Almost all of the buildings of the town are vintage log cabins, many dating back to the early 1900’s. While here, you may want to take notice of these treasures: Meadow Mountain Café: a log structure painted purple and yellow, this popular town gathering place serves a scrumptious breakfast and lunch. Outfitted with a pot belly stove, built of pine logs, its interior is warm and cozy. . . and usually full. Cinnamon-scented coffee. Giant fluffy pancakes (hint: order *one* per kid). Yummy omelets. Thick toast made from home-baked bread – it gets five stars from internet raters far and wide. The Fawn Brook Inn: Award-winning international cuisine is served in this rustic lodge. The restaurant thrives with a clientele that comes from all over the world to experience the magical experience of dining at the Fawn Brook Inn - the quaint log cabin nestled in the town of Allenspark, Colorado, surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains. www.fawnbrookinn.com Crystal Spring: Allenspark is blessed with a natural spring of delicious drinking water. You’ll find the spring across the street from the Meadow Mountain Café. You’ll need a container (preferably an insulated one) to collect the water and tote it away. It is free. Allenspark Community Church – This quaint church is interdenominational and its striking log structure is an architectural centerpiece of Allenspark. Each of its stained glass windows represents a different Colorado Wildflower. It holds church services every Sunday and has an active, friendly membership. The generous 6 courses are offered for $35.00 this season, with a unique wine list and full bar to complement your meal. In addition they offer various musical evenings throughout the summer. www.goldhillinn.com. Open between May and December Wild Basin Entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park -- 3.7 miles from the cabin gives access to famous trails and lakes: Copeland Falls, Thunder Lakes Trailhead, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls, Ouzel Lake, Bluebird Lake, Thunder Lake Lion Lake 1 & 2, Snowbank Lake, and more. St Vrain Market, Deli and Bakery in Lyons (a small town on the way to the cabin) This very small store offers local and fresh groceries, produce, all-natural/organic meat and dairy, deli and bakery. My favorite – their daily-fresh homemade pies and breads. Ghost towns. Along Colorado’s Peak to Peak Highway 72 (going south from Allenspark), you can investigate ghost towns of the 1860’s. Visit Hesse, Apex and Caribou ghost towns as you travel along the Peak to Peak Highway. Caribou Road takes you to the ghost town of Caribou. It’s deserted today but it used to be a booming silver camp. Today’s funky little town of Nederland was originally established to provide supplies to Caribou. Historic Colorado City still has the architecture of a bustling 1860’s boom town. Nearby is Nevadaville, a ghost town at 9500 feet with a few remaining buildings that whisper of the rough life of risk-takers and wealth seekers. Also near Colorado City is Russell Gulch. Allenspark is in a perfect location between Denver and the Rocky Mountain National Park – just 1 1/2 hours from the Denver International Airport. Surrounded by the Roosevelt National Forest, the cabin is in a beautiful and secluded location, close to trails and the tourist activities of Estes Park which is just 14 miles away.

  • Jesse's cabin was everything and more than I hoped it would be. The surroundings were very peaceful and tranquil. I so enjoyed walking in the front door and finding such a welcoming atmosphere....beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. My husband and I both slept better than we had in months. It's a place I would return to in the summer to enjoyed the lovely features outdoors.

  • A very comfortable cabin in the woods! Several of us stayed here for a wedding at the Wild Basin Lodge (~2 miles away) and had a great stay. Highly recommended.

  • We enjoyed our stay in the cabin in the woods. It was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the real wood fireplace. We snowshoed out the back door. Lots of dishes and pans to cook. This location is really off the main road. We had trouble getting to the home with a 4 wheel drive the second day due to snow drifts. A neighbor advised us to park down the hill. We had some young men with us so we able to lug our luggage back to the car. One thing we wished we knew, no dishwasher so we had to wash dishes before we left. There is a washer and dryer. No hairdryer. The owner reached out and said she had just plowed the day we came in.

  • My family of seven stayed at the cabin for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We were more than comfortable in the space. The cabin is very clean. The kitchen is well appointed. The master bathroom is downright luxurious. The cabin is set in a beautiful meadow and is quiet and gorgeous. Wow!

Classic mountain cabin built at the turn of the century. Updated and very cozy and in the heart of one Colorado's coolest mountain towns- Gold Hill. While only about 400 square feet the open layout and large loft make it feel much larger. King size bed in the loft and bunk beds in the front. The cabin is a short walk to the Gold Hill Inn and has trails right from the door into National Forest lands. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and is great to cook in.
The cabin is both rustic and modern. Construction is traditional tongue and groove using Douglas fir timbers. There are hardwood floors, an open and easy to use kitchen that is fully stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil, and my hand thrown pottery. There is also a small and easy to use wood stove. There is a small half-bath in the front room and two double beds that are great for children.
Gold Hill is small mountain town of roughly 250 people in Boulder County. The town is located to the northwest of Boulder, perched on a mountainside above Left Hand Canyon at an elevation of 8,300 feet. Originally a mining camp, it was the site of the first major discovery of gold during the 1859 Colorado Gold Rush and remained an important mining camp throughout the late 19th century, with a population approaching 1500 at its height, before falling into decline. It has been revived somewhat in recent years as a quiet isolated haven, with no paved streets, but easily accessed by dirt roads. The town contains numerous historic wooden structures, some restored in recent years, as well decaying ruins from its mining heyday. The Gold Hill Inn sits in the middle of town and serves dinner, offers live music several nights a week, and host special events like weddings. There is also a small museum and two-room schoolhouse, the Gold Hill School, which since 1873 has been the oldest continuously operating public school in Colorado. The town is laid out on a small grid of dirt streets.
  • Ty's spot was a perfect getaway from the city for night. The cabin is clean, and cozy. We took a couple hikes around the area and caught some great Mountain Views, including some amazing star watching at night. If your looking for a nice space all to yourself in the mountains, this place is perfect.

  • Perfect stay and is my favorite air bnb to date! Ty was super quick and easy to communicate with. The cabin was cozy and really cute. We were super relaxed from the moment we walked in the door to a warm fire already burning in the stove. Ty had everything we needed from delicious coffee to some extra food items. Truly neat location in Gold hill a quiet dirt road mountain town. Would highly recommend this place! Can't wait to come back again.

  • Jeff’s place was quaint, well-furnished and perfect for spending a few nights a lone with my partner in the Mountains. On the first day, I had asked him for a couple amenities such as dish soap and within hours he hooked us up with everything we needed. Perfect spot for anyone wanting to enjoy Gold Hill :)

  • Awesome little get away. Bring beer, food to cook, snacks and hiking shoes for all the trails. If you need to go any where for anything that you forget, I would suggest going to Nederland. The roads are a little less steep to get into town with the snow and what not. Enjoy.

Our family owned cabin is a peaceful getaway from the city, with three bedrooms, a loft, a full kitchen and a large main room for gathering, 20 minutes from Lyons or Estes Park. It sits on 40 acres with a beautiful view of Mount Meeker. Enjoy our frisbee golf course, horseshoes or take a hike on the property. No internet, but we do have a landline for making local calls. Inquire about 1 well behaved pet; $20 per night, upon approval, requirements included in your Reservation Agreement.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, small appliances, etc.
  • This place is perfect for anyone truly looking to get away. This secluded cabin was just what the family needed. There's plenty for the kids to do and lots of outdoor activities for the family!

  • Nice big cabin away from everything! Any questions we had were solved with a quick call to Debbie. Great time!

  • This cabin is incredible!! Remote and so quiet with beautiful views! If you want an escape away this cabin is perfect! We can't wait to go back!

  • This is a beautiful and serene location. The drive in starts with a lovely meadow with a stream then climbs so you can see the Rockies from the gazebo at the back of the house. We loved the remoteness and thrilled to hike our very own mountain every morning. Hiking in Colorado will get thistles in your socks if you are not on a well beaten path. We plucked them out while we cooled down after the hike. An easier hike is down to the meadow and back. We probably could have skipped the Rocky Mountain National Park to avoid the crowds, but we were so close. The Trail Ridge Road is awesome. Everything is quality in the house (sheets, towels, appliances, etc.) But what really makes the difference is the little touches. Of course, you always forget something at the grocery store, and I was so happy to find Debbie had left spices and permission to use what you need and let her know so she could replace it. (A little red pepper on the fish really makes the meal.) The notebook was another nice touch. It has lots of helpful tips and suggestions for where to go locally. Be prepared, there is no cell phone reception, and therefore no internet. If you want to get away, this is it! No glowing screens to distract you from nature. I don’t plan Frisbee, but walked the course while father and son played. We played board games and enjoyed each other’s company instead of watching TV. We drove to town and checked in with the outside world, but it couldn’t readily intrude. Too bad we can’t escape for longer, it was quite a getaway.

  • Just what we needed, complete silence and the opportunity to "unplug." The cabin is surrounded by colorful wild flowers, untouched nature, and swarms of beautiful hummingbirds. Our favorite spot was the gazebo. Undoubtedly the best view from the mountain. The cabin was more than what we were hoping for. From the jacuzzi tub to the incredible views out each and every window. We will never forget our experience in Lyons County/Estes Park. Thank you Debbie & John. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

  • What a spectacular retreat from reality! If you want a place to disconnect from all social media, cell phones, etc. and simply reconnect to each other and the beauty of the Rocky Mountains - this is perfect. Lots of special touches and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend this location! We will be back!

  • The host thought of everything when equipping this property. The bedrooms were spacious and the master suite was amazing. The jetted tub was quite the treat after a long day of exploring this amazing property. Be sure and bring a camera because you'll have plenty of opportunities for some great photos. The road to the cabin is quite rugged, but we were able to make it without issues in our Explorer.

    Sonja2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • John and Debbie's cabin is just amazing! It is definitely beyond our wildest expectation. So peaceful environment, totally in the lovely nature; the house is so lovely and comfortable, we feel like kings and queens! We will definitely come back. And John and Debbie are such nice host and hostess! Though we didn't meet in person, from the emails sent before arrival, text messages of direction, greeting card, hand-written instructions, guestbook...... we can feel their hospitality, love and care. Thank you so much, John and Debbie! I strongly recommend this place to anybody who visits Rocky Mountain. It is quite close to the entrance of the national park, only about half an hour's drive, and the cabin itself is in such a beautiful scenery! I will never forget the beautiful flowers on the grass around the cabin!

Funky passive-solar mountain house with a built-in greenhouse, wood & gas heating and a permacultured garden. Located in the town of Ward, right on the edge of the National Forest at 9,250 ft, just a few minutes from Brainard Lake Recreation Area. Roll out of bed and still be the first one on the trail in the morning!
Originally built in 1915, this house was redesigned in the 70's by a master gardener with a passion for nature. It's surrounded by a permaculture garden, and there's a greenhouse integrated into the living room area for year-round greenery. Outside is a small deck looking out over the town that's perfect for BBQ-ing and enjoying an evening cocktail. The kitchen has picture windows looking down Left Hand Canyon, and it is fully furnished with any cooking implement you might need (including a refrigerator and gas stove). The house is primarily heated with a gas boiler and there are individual thermostats in each room. Guests are welcome to build a fire in the living room fireplace as well, there's a woodpile out back for this purpose. Please ask the host if you need any assistance! There are two bedrooms: the master bedroom contains a full-size bed and the spare bedroom has a full-size futon. The master bedroom is located directly above the greenhouse (a section of the floor is see-through so you can look down into it!), and therefore tends to be a bit more humid than the spare bedroom. Both have great views! There's another full-size living room in the living room if you need a third bed. (Note that both bedrooms are upstairs and accessed via ladder.) (Well-behaved) pets are welcome! There's a small fenced side yard with dog door, as well as a dog bed and some assorted toys. Keep in mind that Ward has no leash law, so you'll likely see some free-ranging dogs around the neighborhood. Note that no pets currently live in the home, but there used to be both a cat and dog, so expect some residual dander. There is a 1 full bath with a huge water heater so you never run out! The bathroom is equipped with a well-maintained composting toilet. Cell service is okay for AT&T but spotty for any other provider. There is WiFi throughout the house with satellite internet, the host will provide you with the password. There is one parking space available at the house, with overflow parking down the street near the general store. Note that during heavy snows, the parking space at the house may be inaccessible.
  • What a gem! This place is so lovely and snug in a tiny mountain town. We were warm and comfortable even though the wind was whooshing past the house. We loved all the plants and glass house. Elijah/Holly got back to any questions so quickly and were great to communicate with. It was a treat to stay, we hope to be back sometime. The general store across the way does great coffee. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

  • Just as pictured, small mountain community, Eldora ski resort 20 minutes away, tons of scenery and trails. Can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to see and hike the trails when everything blooms!

  • This was a great place to stay! Very close to Nederland but still away from the town in a very quiet area. I barely saw any other people while at the airbnb. The greenhouse is such a cool addition! My large pup couldn't manage the ladder to the master bedroom so we slept on the futon downstairs, haha, which was still comfortable! Only issue I had was the Wi-Fi connection. I had no cell service whatsoever which is true to the trickiness of mountain service. It was actually kind of nice to be completely separated at times. I just downloaded movies while in town and did my work at the New Moon Cafe which was a lovely experience with great food and a quaint environment. Compost toilet is a fun experience! Home was very charming overall! Very warm and cozy. Excellent "bang for your buck"!

    Christina2018-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! Perfect for a getaway. The sky was so clear that you could see every star. The greenhouse is amazing. The house is lovely.

  • We booked two nights with Elijiah at $65/night. I caught a virus a few days before our trip, and asked Elijah if we could reschedule. He said everything must be done through Airbnb. When we tried to post pone the dates of our trip, we found out that he had raised the booking price to $99/night. He then refused to honor the original price we had booked, and we were forced to cancel. Very disappointing and disrespectful. I suggest future travelers keep a close eye on this abusive behavior.

Blue/Guest Bdrm in charming "apartment", upstairs of duplex w/ shared yard in a funky, artistic community of nature lovers. Stroll down dirt roads to creeks, parks, or trails (3-15 min) & be greeted by friendly neighbors on the way. Walk to the cafe where locals chat over yummy dishes, brunch, & dance to live music. Rd&Mt Bike/Climb/Fish/Hike out the door and all around! 20 min canyon drive to Boulder. 45 min to Eldora Ski Resort & 30 min to Rocky Mt NP past gorgeous Continental Divide scenery.
~ My boyfriend Peter are hoping to make some extra money for our climbing trip to Colombia! This listing is for the guest bedroom with full sized futon (down feather mattress top make it very comfy yet firm), end tables, a chair, and a west facing window with a view of the grassy hillside. :) ~ The sunny apartment is small but arranged and organized in a way that still feels roomy and makes every nook a great use of space. Enjoy a fully stocked & organized kitchen for all your cooking needs, including a food processor, vitamix, and baking essentials. The bathroom is clean and has a great tub for soaking if you so choose! I've converted the back hall into a gear storage space (see pics) and you can use the top shelves for suitcases and use the ski poles for clothes hangars if you would like. Space for your bikes or outdoor gear as well. Just let us know what you are bringing! Also for your use in the hall is a desk space and vanity space (shared with me if we are home) with a full length mirror. The front porch has a lattice "fence" for privacy from the neighbors and lots of potted plants (season depending). It is great for enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink, birding, or for people watching as townfolk/neighbors walk by or head to the Merc. ~ We have one neighbor downstairs and one on the other side of my latticed-fenced porch. They are both super friendly and helpful, but will leave you be, unless you start chatting with them. Also be aware my downstairs neighbor has a dog, Maverick, that is sometimes tied up outside enjoying the outdoors. He may bark a little as you walk up but is actually totally sweet and just wants to say hi as you pass and go upstairs. A sculptor also rents the garage/studio space downstairs, so you may catch a glimpse of her creating some amazing paper-mache statues.
~ Mountain living in sweet little Jamestown in great! Only a quick beautiful canyon drive to North Boulder for arts, music, eats, and outdoor play with the benefits of coming home to a small town feel, with friendly neighbors, dirt roads, wildlife, a babbling creek (with trout!), national forests all around, and 2 beautiful town parks (with tennis courts, horseshoes, & kid play structure). ~ The Merc is a super cute, local-family owned cafe/restaraunt/bar that is technically next door, but the front porch/door of the Merc sits right on the street and our apartment/duplex sits far back from the street (with a big grassy yard). So it feels plenty separate and private when considering noise/activity at the Merc. Still if a good bluegrass or jazzy band gets going on a Thursday or Saturday night (8-10pm) and folks are out, you may smell the home cooked special or hear the laughter and good tunes drawing you over if you are out on your porch or have the windows open. Music always ends by 10 though. *Evening Merc schedule: Mon- Open Mic/burgers; Wed-drinks and snacks; Thurs/Sat-Chef's special dinner starts at 6 & live music 8-10; Fri- pizza/music 5-8. Brunch 9-2 on Sat/Sun* ~ Lots of Road biking, Mountain biking and hiking trails in the canyon and right outside our door. Fishing in the creek. And if you're a climber ask us about the new area we are developing on the ridge behind our house!!
  • I just wanna thank Jen and Peter for making our stay in Colorado phenomenal. This was my first Airbnb trip ever, I was incredibly nervous and as soon as I met them all of those nerves dissipated. They are such wonderful people and were incredibly flexible with our schedule. The commute to Boulder is not a problem at all especially considering how gorgeous the scenery is on the route. I do have to say the one downside is that you make an attachment to Bonnie the dog and then you have to leave!

Ideally situated, nestled under towering aromatic pines. There is a magical tranquility in the air, allowing the imagination to flow in sync with the river's pleasing musical rhythms and sounds gushing and gurgling, as one's body and mind simply relax into another world free of stress.
Ideally situated on the bend of the river, guests enjoy maximized exposure to the sun's warming rays. At night, the possibilities of a myriad of shooting stars and numerous planetary wonders tantalize the mind. You can experience all of this because we're located in the midst of the Roosevelt National Forest region, central to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as other nearby desirable locations including Boulder, Nederland, Longmont and even DIA.  Three-hundred years ago, four different Indian tribes made the area their home during the winter months. There is something here to discover for the whole family all year round: from fishing, panning for gold, front yard camping, hiking trails galore, interesting rock formations, river bathing (for the hearty), swimming in nearby lakes, skiing, hot spring visits, regeneration, healing from stress, inspiration, and fun. Explore, hike and fish with your whole family (and pets) or relax and romance with a loved one on the patio. This River Bend Retreat is a cozy Hansel and Gretel style cabin. A dream come true and a repeat destination for those who discover its peaceful and healing quality year round. Central to boundless amenities.
Our neighborhood is tucked away in the mountains some 20-30 minutes to the next real grocery store. ( Estes Park, Lyons, and Longmont). There is, however, a small country store within fifteen minutes walking distance (with erratic opening hours) for picking up odds and ends or satisfying a sweet tooth. We share Riverside Drive with other single private cabins on both sides of the road and across the river so please be conscientious of noise after 10:00 PM. Be mindful of wildlife, we're in the Colorado Rocky Mountains after all. The wings of the local hummingbirds may hum all day long, as they search out flowers or designated feeders hanging from the eaves of the cabin. On rare occasions, a bear might wander along the river ‘hunting' for said hummingbird feeders. Although this is rare and a welcome exciting event for some of our guests, simply be mindful of wildlife, providing them space in their natural environment.
  • Russell and Rita were great hosts and easy to contact with quick response time. The cottage/cabin looks just like the pictures, but the river running through the back can not be felt justice until you are in its presence! It is wild and ravenous and awakens and heals the soul. The location was perfect; just up the hill from Lyons, Rocky Mtn Nat'l, and close to amazing hiking, distilleries, breweries, coffee, and mist of all, Nature! You're in it up there. We found sitting on the deck drinking coffee and tea and playing cribbage was the way to vacay. Amazing!

  • The place was so quaint and on a beautiful riverbed. The house is comfortable and has a very homey, cozy feel. At first we were unsure of how many rooms there were as we believed there were four, but one of the rooms is actually located in a separate shed while the living room doubles as a "bedroom". Other than that the house met our expectations and allowed for an excellent stay.

  • Very beautiful cabin AND location. Decorated in a homey, welcoming and artistic way. Cabin was very well insulated and cozy and comfortable. Wonderful large fire place. Location on the river was amazing. Fainting couch and wood burning stove in the master bedroom was sweet. One review had said the beds weren't comfortable but the master bed had a type of memory foam on top of the mattress that was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied with cooking utensils and even spices. I would love to stay here again.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the retreat! The location was perfect for a wedding up in Allenspark, and we comfortably fit 5 people in the main house (could've fit 6). The bunkhouse was super cute and cozy, very comfortable. Russell was a gracious and welcoming host, and we loved our visit. Between the hospitality and the amazing sound of the river right outside, we'd definitely return!

  • Russell's place is simply fantastic. The scenery is incredible and peaceful. The deck and outdoor space is wonderful and inviting. I would recommend Russell's place to anyone who wishes to get away and spend some time in the mountains. I look forward to returning.

The cottage is a studio space with kitchen, bed, living room, dining table, private outdoor porch and bathroom with shower. We also provide simple amenities for cooking. The cottage is directly behind our family home and shares a deck with the main house. It is close to national parks and forest, running, hiking, biking trails, Eldora ski area and 10 minutes northeast of the town of Nederland. You’ll love my place because of access to nature, the decor of the cottage and the location.
The cottage is nicely designed and stylishly furnished, it is a cozy space comfortable for two people.
For some, our spot might seem remote, however, the cottage is situated directly behind our house and is located in an active neighborhood, only 10 minutes drive to Nederland and 25 minutes to Boulder.
  • This cute place was perfect for a couple days in the mountains! Easy drive to Estes or Boulder. Downtown Nederland is a must!

    Danielle2017-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is something special. The cottage is clean and quaint. It was perfect for us as a couple. Emilie and Nick are extremely friendly. We were able to spend some time with them while grilling on the porch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The nearby town of Nederland is small but has a ton of personality. If it's too small or doesn't have something you need, Boulder is a short, beautiful drive through the canyon. Emilie recommended a couple of nearby trails that had beautiful views of wildlife, serene lakes, and towering peaks. There are even some nice walking trails around the property that we took advantage of. This was easily the most enjoyable trip we have ever been on and the little cottage was a large part of the reason why. Also, if you happen to stay here and are sitting on the back porch enjoying the sunset with Oreo, tell him we said hi.

Sinapu (Ute word for wolf) Is a great vintage cabin fully remodeled. Very close to Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain NP, Twin Sisters and many more breathtaking trails. Located in a quiet area near Allenspark, CO. Knotty Pine interior, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, down comforters, wood burning stove, heat, screen porch, natural stone bathroom and shower. Great place to unplug! TV for movies only. Great for relaxing and watching the moose and elk frequently seen in the aspen and pines.
Great knotty pine vintage cabin with modern amenities and a clean, quiet and peaceful atmosphere at 8,400 elevation and surrounded by nature. Also a great getaway for a winter vacation. I keep the cabin open through December and open early spring. I have 2 pairs of snowshoes for guests to use near the cabin or on nearby trails.
Sinapu den is nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with abundant wildlife away from the noise of the city. Close to awesome waterfalls, mountain lakes, wilderness areas, restaurants and the beautiful outdoors. In the winter the area is also great for snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
  • Very nice, quiet, secluded cabin in the woods with a nice view. Very convenient to the hiking trails in Wild Basin and several other trail heads. Recommend Mt Lilly for a decent hike and great views. Eileen was very helpful and very responsive to questions. A couple of tips, 1) this Cottage is located in a rural area, many of the roads are unpaved and the street signage can be hard to see, especially at night. GPS worked fine but I still like to have visual reference. 2) Stock-up before arriving. I think the closest groceries, beer, etc are in Estes Park about 15 miles, so buy groceries on the way in and plan for a relaxing beverage in the Adirondack chairs on the front patio when you arrive.

    Paul2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very clean and just the right space for us. We lit the wood stove and watched a movie from Eileen's collection one evening. Perfect. There were wonderful original paintings with Native American themes on the walls. I am guessing they were painted by Eileen, our host.

  • Although our stay was short we loved every moment in this cozy cabin! It was exactly what I look for when coming to Colorado. Peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of the mountains out front. I love the décor and bold colors around the cabin. Its location is great, Eileen recommended Wild Basin area of RMNP and we loved hiking there, the water falls and trail was beautiful. My interaction with the host was great she was very warm, friendly and accommodating, I would defiantly stay here again!

    Kristina2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was exactly as descibed. The location was beautiful and secluded. Eileen was an ideal host. She stayed in touch during our visit and was very helpful. We would definitely love to return!

  • This was a very well decorated, very cozy cabin. It's remarkable how such a small place can have everything you need and still feel roomy. It's a close drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park where my crew had a lot of options for hiking, and it wasn't as hard to find as you might think. We didn't have any issues with anything. There were some useful maps in the place and the Internet was just fine for loading maps, texting, googling, etc. Didn't have service in the area but that's a good thing to keep you focused on nature. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

    Caleb2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and as described. I especially appreciated that the fire was laid and ready to go, and there were good instructions on how to get the most out of the cabin and the area in general (maps, restaurant suggestions, directions to grocery store, etc.). The kitchen truly was fully equipped (we made two full meals there, no problems), but just be aware that there's not a microwave. Plenty of pots, pans, knives, tableware, baking dishes, measuring cups, etc., and even spices, which came in handy! A joy to cook there. Thank you! Other bonuses in the cabin were some board games, books, DVDs, and full cable TV. Eileen was very responsive to our questions as well during our stay. A few suggestions I would make to future guests. First, arrive during daylight the first time if you can. It's not difficult to find, but there are no streetlights, so it might make things easier on you. Second, just know that in that region in general (Allenspark, Estes, RMNP) you likely won't have cell service, and plan accordingly. (There was Wi-Fi available in the cabin, though, so you can use that to communicate via texting, Wi-Fi calling, and emails.) Both these things are to be expected when you're renting a cabin in the mountains to get away from it all, so I guess that advice would go for anywhere in the Rockies. :) There were just two of us this time, but our family of four will be very comfortable, too. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area! Thank you for a great experience, Eileen!

    Kirstin2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome cabin. Exactly as advertised. Very clean and well kept. Fantastic view from the front porch. Excellent location (secluded for a getaway, yet close enough to quickly get to Estes and Allenspark). I can't think of a better "basecamp" if you are visiting/hiking in RMNP. Would definitely stay here again.

    Ryan2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and clean. This is a great cabin in nice location if you want a little peace and quiet while visiting the Estes Park area. Easy access to town with breathtaking views on the ride in and very close to great hiking trails in RMNP. We especially appreciated the Moose that walked through the front yard each morning! Not sure how Elaine arranged that but I guess that's all part of being a super host!

A super cozy, modern, designer tiny house on 30 acres of a mountain top overlooking Boulder and the front range. You'll be secluded enough to walk around butt naked, sip on coffee, read, play in the mountains, hike, dream, get lost in the milky way, dance on a giant deck, work at the infinity desk, cook, huddle around an outdoor fire pit, and live fully! Lovely perk: if nobody books the following night, you can have a late check-out at sunset
I'm a designer and have built this space with my own two hands. As such, there are some unique quirky touches around the house. The space is tiny, it's only 160 sq ft, but feels quite spacious, thanks to loads of light. You can choose to sleep in the roll-out queen-sized bed or on the hand weaved king-sized hammock loft.
I'm 5 mins away from a tiny town of Gold Hill. Depending on the season, they have amazing live music and a multi-course meals in the old fashioned Inn. Call them to reserve in advance. Rocky Mountain National Park is not too far via scenic Peak-to-Peak highway. National Forest with stunning views and hikes is 30 mins away.
  • The tiny house is awesome. All the amenities you need to stay there for many days. Vladimir is super kind and allows you to use anything in his house. We will be coming back!

  • The tiny house was cozy, warm, an inviting place. Secluded away from everyone and best of all amazing views. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Great place with amazing views! The host was very responsive. Thanks for the tiny home experience!

    Marcel2017-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Vlad's place. It's exactly as described, adorable, and on a remarkable perch! Be sure to read the directions and house manual thoroughly as you'll need them! Highly recommended.

    Sophie2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house was great and had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing I would add is that you need a four wheel drive car if there is any snow. Overall we loved the place and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay the night in the mountains in a unique house.

    Jeremy2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I loved our stay in Vlad's tiny house! It's wonderfully simple but has all the basic amenities you need. It was truly a unique, unforgettable way to spend my birthday. Definitely gained some new life skills with that compositing toilet :) Vlad was very helpful, informative, and hospitable. The house manual is highly detailed and 100% accurate, so make sure you read it thoroughly and have access to it during your stay - you'll need it! Our only note is to be prepared in case of adverse weather. Snow was forecasted overnight so we woke up to a complete white out with poor visibility. Only about two inches fell, but being relative mountain rookies (we're from Chicago) we were a little hesitant about driving back down the mountain. We do have AWD but ended up using the chains out of caution because it was pretty slick. If you're used to mountain driving you'll be fine, but we highly recommend AWD!

Aspen Wind is a beautifully remodeled 1947 cabin nestled on 3.8 acres in the Rocky Mountains and a 20 minute walk to the small town of Allenspark.Close to many hiking trails.Wild Basin area in RMNP has several trails to lakes, waterfalls, fishing etc. and is only 2 miles away. Moose and elk have been seen often on the property and in the Wild Basin.Natural spring water feeds the cabin. Aspen has great views of Mt Meeker and the Rocky Mountain range. A short drive to RMNP entrances and Estes Park.
Aspen Wind is a beautiful, historic old remodeled cabin full of the nostalgia and charm of the 1940's. A very relaxing secluded cabin with aspen wood floors, knotty pine walls and ceilings, wood burning fireplace, comfortable beds and a deep cast iron bathtub/shower to soak in the Crystal Mountain spring water and just relax!
Allenspark is a great little town located in a high meadow surrounded by mountains. Aspen Wind is located on Ski road. Skiing was popular in the Allenspark area in the 1920s and 1930s, when international ski jumping competitions were held. Jumps and ski courses included the Willow Creek Slide, Thelma Slide, Butter Bowl, Haugen Slide, and Point-O-Pines. The Rock Creek Ski area was developed after World War II and operated until 1952. Cross-country skiing is still popular, especially on Rock Creek and in Wild Basin. The St Vrain's trail head is a 3 minute drive away and the awesome Wild Basin trail heads are a short 2 mile drive. Finch Lake, Pear lake, Calypso Falls, Ouzal Falls and many more great destinations start at the Wild Basin.
  • We really enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the area; the views were so wonderful of the mountains. We really appreciated how clean it was and the cabin was great.

  • This house is beautiful! Our entire vehicle audibly gasped when we came around the corner and saw the pine sided cabin. The beds and bedding were all super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. We were in the area for the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon in Estes Park, and I'm so glad we booked this cabin 25 minutes away from the busy tourist town of Estes Park. It was nice to get away from it all while on vacation. All of the comforts of home were provided for those of us who forgot things like shampoo. Not having cell service wasn't an issue since we had wifi. Eileen was great to communicate with, genuinely cares that her guests enjoy their stay.

    Katie2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen's place is quiet, rustic and scenic. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the front porch and cabin decor. The cabin was well equipped for us to cook, play games, and use the internet.

    Pam & Bruce2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Aspen Wind is magic, this place made for a truly spectacular and beautiful family vacation. Close enough to Estes Park to go and get in the resort town mix but removed enough from all of that that you feel to be truly isolated and with the mountains.

  • Great space! Clean and eclectic. Eileen is a good communicator and gracious host. Very close to town but not good cell reception anywhere in Allenspark, the free wifi was a lifesaver.

    Nicole2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen was a great host. She even brought us an extra heater after it got chilly. The cabin was in the perfect location! It was secluded but the scenery on the drive to RMNP is well worth it. The cabin was cozy, clean and had the best view!

We're close to Estes Park, Eldora ski area, Nederland, Brainard Lk, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mt biking, road biking. SCENIC PRIVATE LAKE w/kayaks. Stunning views of the Continental Divide, cozy wood stove, the comfy bed, beautiful area. It's a 4 bedroom home. We occupy one room full time. There are 3 bedrooms available, each listed separately. (See Southern & Meadow Rooms) Each room has private full bath. 2 rooms have private decks. WiFi available
Ours is a classic log home built in 2001. It is very dramatic with 16 to 20 inch logs. A very open design with 180 degree views of the mountains. You feel like you can reach out and touch them. We are surrounded on two sides by a 100 acre ranch. Very quiet and secluded. For your comfort, we are a pet free and smoke free environment. REAL BREAKFAST INCLUDED
Our home is in the Hidden Lake development. There are very few that live here year round. You will find it very quiet and most likely see wildlife during your stay.
  • This home is beyond beautiful! Joe and Cynthia have built this home themselves and you can see the love and care that went into it. We enjoyed our own room and private bath, along with a private deck that opened up to the Rockies. The only thing that could outdo this home is the hosts themselves. Joe and Cynthia are warm and inviting people who we enjoyed talking to and learning more about. This was a perfect peaceful weekend for us, and we are so grateful to the Williams' hospitality! If all this wasn't enough, the delicious breakfast laid out for us every morning cinched this airbnb as a 10/10!

  • My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Joe and Cynthia's home while we were traveling for a wedding. They were fabulous hosts and very accomodating. Their home is lovely and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the sunset view from theur porch which we caught the tail end of is stunning. Joe made us delicious egg soufflé in the morning and we enjoyed chatting with them both when we checked in. A very kind and generous couple and a fabulous place to just "get away from it all" if you are seeking a place to stay in the area. Would love to come back again!

  • Seriously one of the best experiences I have had with airbnb. First, location.....wow. Beautiful home with gorgeous views of the Indian Peaks. Great place to stay if you want to explore Brainard Lake area for a couple days or go into Estes Park. Second, your hosts....if everyone on this earth was like Joe and Cynthia it would be perfect. Amazing people, good conversation and they went above and beyond with breakfast!! I felt like I could have my space but if I chose to interact I had 2 great people to spend time with. If you are looking for a place to stay in the CO mountains look no further. Highly recommended!!! :)

  • We stayed at Joe's place for about three days. Joe and Cynthia are great hosts, they made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Their house is lovely, with breathtaking views and spectacular wooden interiors! The breakfast served was very nice, would love to come back again.

  • Staying here was a great way to spend the weekend. It's at 9,000 feet elevation and you can see the mountains from the breakfast table! Joe and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and truly care about those who stay with them. Their breakfasts are amazing too! Restaurants are a little bit of a drive away but they are more than happy to let you use their fridge for groceries or their stove for cooking. We spent the day at RMNP while we were there. It was a great time!

Sky Dancer Chalet is a mystical, tiny house, completely off grid. Spaciously surrounded by 2 acres of Lodge Pole Pines and Aspen trees, drenched with cobalt blue solar lights that glow in the forest at night. Walking paths lit up with glow in the dark rocks. Fire pit for warm glaze in the evening under the milky way star system. It is very private and secluded and an experience that will dwell within your heart long after you leave this magical place.
The Off Grid Chalet is set high up in the mountains above Peak to Peak Hwy, the elevation ranges around 8,500 ft. Located just above the quaint town of Ward Proper, it is 20 minutes to Nederland and 35 minutes to Boulder where there is plenty to do and experience all of its progressive choices. Eldora Ski Resort is close by and there are great hiking trails that you can walk to from the property. One that takes you to a lake only 20 minute walk. The Cabin is fully equipped with a small kitchen, living room, bathroom, and upstairs bedroom. With one double bed and a couch dowstairs. Given the nature of its off grid potential, this precious off grid home has No Running Water, but is fully equipped with composting toilet and purified water dispenser. (Must bring your own water!) Just a few miles up the road is Peaceful Valley Ranch which has year round hot tub and pool facilities.$6.00 a day for hot tub pool and showers. There is a propane stove with pans and dishes, propane heater and as well as a solar system for power and generator for back up. There's internet and computer desk. Candle light and lanterns for a romantic feel as well as overhead lights for reading or writing, cooking etc. Attached to the tiny house is a small wrap around greenhouse that supplements the natural heat as well as creates a beautiful garden space to sit and just enjoy its beauty and observe the organic produce growing (except in winter). The property outside has a super fun porch swing, fire pit for a nightly roast or relaxing sitting area outside with benches. There are numerous sitting spaces, to watch the beautiful birds and chipmunks etc. You could possibly glimpse a bear, cougar or moose during your stay and get to experience a wild and magical land with incredible views, wildlife sounds and nature in all of its magnificence. If you travel with your pets, bring them along! This place is perfect for furry friends to play and roam freely. But keep them safe and close. There is a friendly cat onsite so keep that in mind when bringing dogs. And just let us know so we can coordinate free roams. This off grid home is not just somewhere to relax and be at peace, but it is an entire sustainable experience full of wonder and excitement.
This unique little area is like no other. While there are at least 6 other neighbors a top this peak, they are a wide distance away and it is very quiet so you will barely see a soul. But it is also nice to know that people are around. If you happen to see any, they are the sweetest and most genuine small town sweeties. Just a few miles up the road is a new Cafe at the Historically known Peaceful Valley Resort where you can swim, hot tub, shower, fish, and enjoy many more activities. The town of Ward is just a few miles down the road in the other direction with a general store, and the Local eatery, Moraccos for amazing Italian food and the Mill Site in for brewskies and burgers.
  • My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave. This couple is very friendly and the space is amazing. Sprawling property with fun animals. Lots of exploring. This is for those who love nature.

    Ryan2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place perfect to get away and relax! Totally off the grid, low key and gorgeous setting! Loved every part of it!

  • My stay here was awesome I went by myself and it ended up being an amazing spiritual experience. Daphne and her boyfriend were super awesome and helpful when I first got there I was able to join the bonfire festivities with them and their friends. Daphne and I ended up having a lot in common and we'll probably be working together soon. I definitely had an unforgettable experience I can't wait to go back its indescribably beautiful up there. :)

    Amber2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Daphne's place is truly magical. My boyfriend and I stayed out here on Christmas weekend and we couldn't imagine it being any better. Just keep in mind that this building truly is off grid!

    Emily2017-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Really great, secluded place. The atmosphere inside was so cozy and lovely. Some issues with generator happened but host solved problems efficiently. Four wheel drive is important to have unless a .5 hike is alright.

    Colleen2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Found this awesome place last minute and loved it more than we expected! Daphne and Brayden were super welcoming, showed us how everything worked in this off-grid stay, built us a fire both nights, and were extremely friendly to our weird little dog. The road to get to the place is bumpy so drive a big car if you can, theres limited phone service (off- grid) but wifi available. 4 of us stayed in the space but would I'd say it's perfect for 2 people- there is a small couch and one bed. Really unique experience for the adventurous soul!

    Takayla2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely not what I expected at all. Very scarce electricity. Breaker kept going off where I had to go out in the snow to reset in every 10 minutes. WiFi was rarely on and I had no service to get in touch with the owner. Sheets were filthy. Dishes were left upstairs. Toilet was filled with urine. Disappointed in the cabin but it was in a beautiful area.

Escape the busyness of life surrounded by nature and stunning Continental Divide views. With hiking right from your door. Sugarloaf Mt and Dream Canyon minutes away. Rocky Mountain National Park and Brainard State Park a short drive. This cozy quite garden level locking bedroom and bathroom is in our 3200 sf home located at base of Sugarloaf Mountain in the Roosevelt National Forest and is only 20 minutes to downtown Boulder or Nederland.
Close to Eldora Ski Area,Rocky Mountain National Park, Brainard Lake State Park, and Indian Peaks Wilderness area and Red Rocks amphitheater the world famous music venue. There is wifi and your room has a TV with access to Netflix only. There is lock on your door for privacy and security. The bathroom is solely yours as well with a locking door. The roads are well maintained and its also is a stunning drive as you pass the last traffic light on 6th and Canyon, its just an amazing drive up to the house along Boulder Creek through Boulder Canyon to Sugarloaf Rd you will feel like you have entered the Alps. We have amazing sunrises and sunsets as well up here. Lots of wildlife passes through the property, Moose, Elk Deer, Wild Turkeys, Bobcat, and we have loads of Chipmunks, birds and Humming Birds be mindful of the animals and their space. Please Don't leave food in your car and lock it with windows up to not encourage bears. This space is great for the solo adventurer, couple, and business traveler. There are so many beautiful places around us to explore. During summer 2 wheel drive is fine Fall and Winter and early Spring we can have snow at any time so 4 wheel drive is recommend then. We are 25 minute from Eldora ski resort. We are a busy family of 4 so we are gone and around depends on the day. We look forward to hosting you!
The home is set apart from other homes with lots of trees creating privacy from other homes most are on 1-3 acres and its not far from Sugarloaf Mountain hiking Trail or Dream Canyon Trail off Sugarloaf. We are set off from the main road so not much traffic noise not like city life its extremely quite.

Stay in a magical wood and tile cave that looks out on a forest glade containing aspen, blue spruce and pine. Radiant floor heat. Private bathroom and entrance. Five minute drive to the Eldora ski resort shuttle bus and downtown Nederland. Heavenly spot! Please be aware that 3 dogs live upstairs, and they do bark and shed. They are friendly when they get to know you, but this is not a good choice if you have allergies or high sensitivity to occasional dog ruckus. Welcome to Nederland!
This is an almost independent unit in a large, unique mountain home. The room looks out on a beautiful glade. It has a king size bed, radiant floor heat, and its own bathroom, as well as a kitchenette, with a gas stove.
We are in a very quiet cul de sac in Beaver Creek Estates, which is basically the eastern part of the valley going up towards the old Caribou Mine. There used to be some big mining settlements around here. I've had friends swear they saw ghost miners, just like in Scooby Doo. You can often find old mine shafts, divets and ruined cabins. Our house backs onto National Forest. Further up Caribou Road there is a poets' collective, with a summer writing workshop. A lot of people grow cannabis around here. Nederland was the first town in the nation to have a legal cannabis café. Dogs go in the bank and play frisbee... in the bank. You can go to the grocery store in your pyjamas and no one will bat an eyelid. What I'm trying to put across is that Nederland is an outside of the box destination, where you can explore, enjoy nature, and let your freak flag fly, should you so desire.
  • We love the place, it was perfect for us , we went ski and cross country close by. The place is very nice and bed is super comfortable.

Our Italian-style farmhouse has 4 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The bedrooms are accessed by a ground floor common room with wood fireplace. On the second floor is a common room with gas fireplace, a dining table, kitchen and deck for star gazing. At 44 acres with a 3 acre trout stocked lake and seasonal pond, our Colorado mountain property provides natural beauty, privacy and serenity. Located one mile from the St. Vrain trailhead, our home is the perfect base for hiking & biking.
  • Wonderful gracious hosts who did everything to ensure the property is welcoming and hospitable. Communication and responsiveness are the best I've encountered when using Air BnB. The property itself is amazing, giving both privacy and luxurious comfort. Paul and his wife even put together a helpful guide much like you'd find at a hotel or resort. Great central location that gives ease of access and proximity to Boulder, Eldora Mountain or RMNP.

Access by car (all paved roads), park on property. 10 minutes to Boulder, 20 minutes to downtown. 45 minutes to Estes park.
  • This was probably the best airbnb i have stayed at to date. It's very clean, classy, stylish and private. You pretty much have the entire basement to yourself. It's less than an hour from rmnp and Denver and only 10 minutes from boulder. Maura and Chris are awesome hosts. I'm glad I chose this place

  • Maura and Chris were great hosts and their house was a great place to stay! My girlfriend and I had a late flight and Maura was very accommodating of us. Chris was also able to give us the low down on local restaurants. The house was very clean and we were supplied with everything we needed (bath towels, tp, etc.). The house is in a beautiful location about 15 minutes from Boulder, right near the mountains. We even saw some deer outside the house when we woke up. We would definitely recommend staying with Maura and Chris!

  • This is the most beautiful Airbnb I have ever seen. I want to go back to Boulder just to say here. It's amazing. So clean and so gorgeous. Maura and Chris and so friendly and nice and we're so helpful with ideas in the area. Would 11/10 recommend that you stay here.

Gorgeous views on your own private level. Amazing deck overlooking Boulder. Steam Shower, Jet tub, private entrance, living room, fireplace, and more. Enjoy the sunny South facing deck year round. 10 minutes from North Boulder shops/trailheads, 18 minutes to Pearl Street/downtown Boulder. New 50" 4k TV
Beautiful mountain neighborhood with lots of trees, large lots and rolling dirt roads. The city view from here is amazing!
  • Beautiful place. People above were a bit noisy above us in the p.m. but otherwise a nice place with beautiful views.

  • I LOVE Andy's place. It was an absolute PERFECT place for me to get ready for my elopement in the Rocky Mountains. It's far enough in the hills to feel super secluded, but close enough for an easy drive to downtown Boulder. If you plan to bring food take note that you will not have a microwave, but they do supply a mini fridge and a coffee maker! I didn't get a chance to enjoy the jacuzzi tub but it definitely looks promising! Just an overall nice place with a large open patio giving you an amazing view no matter the time of day. I hope to come back sometime!

  • The place was nice, but air conditioning did not work and there is no kitchen.

    Dawson2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • The scenic view was really great! The place was nice and cozy and easy to find. A microwave is the one thing missing, which would be great considering being about 15-20 mins from Boulder. If you have any issues with noise above you, as in apt living, I would not recommend staying here. It was very noticeable. Overall a pleasant stay.

  • Nice place for views but we thought it was pretty expensive for what we got. Besides the bedroom the place is pretty desolate. Patio furniture is old and cheap...

  • The house itself is beautiful with awesome views of the city and sun rise. As others have mentioned, the bathroom wasn't terribly clean, and the kitchen just had a coffee pot and mini fridge. The heated floor and steam shower are very nice. It's about 20 minutes from town.

  • Great spot. And wonderfully private deck. Check in with Andy whether you can actually use the jacuzzi - water issues in the area for the drought. Sounds from the upstairs do carry down - and depending on how many people are upstairs and how heavy you sleep - might wake you in the morning. Carry a light (cell phone flashlight) when you go around to your door at night - you can trip on the front door rock step on the way to your place.

This is a beautiful room in a charming neighborhood 1.5 miles from downtown and near bus routes. Many beautiful hiking trails start within 300 yards or the house. There are a private entrance and lots of space for parking. The room has a private full bathroom, queen bed, closet, and drawers. Free high-speed wifi is available. The use of the kitchen, laundry room, and garden is possible. While no animals were in the room we have two short haired cats in the house. This is a net-zero energy house.
  • Marc's place was just as I expected it to be. Clean, accommodating and great communication.

  • A simple, comfortable, private space in a lovely home and neighborhood. Marc was easy to deal with and helpful while I was there. There was no wifi in the bedroom ( which I actually appreciated) but I was welcomed and comfortable in their living room whenever I needed it. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Fantastic host, clean, quiet and unique location. Would definitely stay here and recommend Marc's home to others!

  • Marc’s place is residential and scenic. Deer and rabbits indeed all around the house. The hosts were great- easy to communicate. Great suggestions. The room itself was super neat and clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was v good too. We were there only for one night but the place was good and close to trails and also pearl street/ downtown was a short distance away.

  • Marc’s place was great! The entrance is semi-private and we never felt like we were intruding on the family. The house is a quick uber ride to downtown, and there are a few shops within walking distance. Great stay, would recommend to anyone!

  • Comfy bed, private bath. An easy place to stay in North Boulder.
