Appena prenotato a Alsótelekes

Kiváló kirándulási lehetőségek adottak a környéken. Minden korosztály számára kikapcsolódást jelent. A környék lehetőségei: Aggteleki Cseppkőbarlang; Edelényi Kastélysziget; Hucul ménes; Nyomdász múzeum; Világ legnagyobb könyve.
A ház egyedi stílusa, es a környezet kiváló minden korosztály számára. A jó levegő garantált. Kipróbálhatod a kemencét, a sparhetot.
A hamisítatlan falusi környezet, a csend es a ház stílusa, hangulata. A kemence.
  • I spent only one night with my girlfriend at Timea's. The house is just incredible! We felt there like in a skansen. Everything was pretty and arranged in very little details. You could tell, there was very much work and love put in finishing it. All materials were high quality. It was also very clear. It is located in a beautiful, quiet village. I only talked to Timea over phone and the contact was very good. At the place we met her parents and brother who speaks English well. They were all very friendly. They showed us the whole property - the other room, summer kitchen, sauna. They offered us to use the sauna. It looks great, like it is freshly built. I regret we could not stay longer. I would definitely want to stay at Tímea's when I travel to Hungary again. I would recommend it to everybody. It is worth coming even if its not close to your route or travel destination.

  • This is a very well kept property with traditional decor, in a quiet Hungarian village, surrounded by hills and forests, National park with spectacular caves is nearby, while both Miskolc and Eger are a short drive away. Perfect for a quiet getaway!

  • My husband and I spent the weekend at Timea's home, it was very remote and a completely authentic Hungarian village of only 142 people. Do bring food with you! We will never forget our memories of being there and hope to return again! We were left a key and if we needed anything at all we just called or text and we were answered right away! There is no internet access, which is actually great, but our mobile internet access worked fine. The house is very comfortable and clean with two large rooms, a kitchen and a lovely bathroom. Every element is in keeping with traditional Hungarian lifestyle and completely practical and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Also there is a huge sauna house that we enjoyed using! I highly recommend Timea's house if you would like to experience authentic Hungarian village life and privacy as if you've travelled back in time. There are farm animals and dogs just about everywhere and the house is surrounded by nature. We loved walking up into the hills where the national park is at the top of the village! Thank you Timea, we hope to visit again soon!

  • Timea's father met us at the house, explained everything to us. He didn't speak English & we don't speak Hungarian, but the entire process went remarkably smoothly, with his son acting as translator via cell when needed. The town is so small there isn't a store, so best to arrive with provisions. The sauna is excellent. It's a charming house with lots of personal touches. We picked Timea's place because we wanted to spend a day at Aggteleki National Park, in order to do a cave tour. Because we were there in late October, only the 1 hour tour was available on that date & only in Hungarian. Fantastic. It didn't matter than we didn't understand the guide. We highly recommend it. Definitely worth the trip. We drove lots of the little backroads in the area, enjoying the fall colours. A lovely corner of the country.

  • Szép, csendes kis falu. A ház tiszta és régi paraszti házakra jellemző bútorokkal felszerelt, fagerendás födémmel ellátott szép házikó. A konyha jól felszerelt.

Our house is situated in Aggtelek National Park, which is known as the heart and soul of walking, caving, cycling and the endless wilderness. Szögliget is one of the most beautiful villages in Hungary and is ideally placed in the mountains near the Slovakian border offering a great variety of amazing places to visit in Hungary also in Slovakia. We let the house for groups of 10+ people. The accommodation is complete with a self catering kitchen, a huge living-dining area and a two-acre garden.
The Cottage is very close to the Slovakian border, making it ideal for holiday makers to explore both North of Hungary and South of Slovakia (Kosice). The National Park is full of caves of different types and sizes (limestone, icecaves), an amazing place to explore both for cave and nature enthusiasts.

  • My husband and I were not pleased with this rental. First, I asked whether these cottages were separate and had their own kitchen and bathrooms. Because we were NOT looking to stay at any B&B or Hostels. Correspondence with the host was impossible. We tried (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translate and it didn't work great. Upon arrival we found out we had another couple staying in the cottage with us. We tried to explain that we didn't expect that and that we wanted our own place. We were getting nowhere they do NOT speak English at all. We had our 2 pugs with us and the girl pug is blind. The host and other guest kept leaving the front door wide open. We should have left but didn't have other options so we stayed the night. In addition, even though there are keys to lock up the rooms the locks are all the same so none of our items were secure. We woke up at 5am and found the front door wide open and the other guest were in their bedroom. We do NOT recommend this rental property.

The Irota EcoLodge premises consist of three spacious, luxurious and well-equipped holiday villas and a shared natural swimming pool (size 6x16m). Each house (170 m2) has its own style: The Lower House is the rustic, countryside type, the Middle House has a retro, 1960s feel, while the Upper House has a sleek and modern design. As your well-equipped large kitchen suggests, your villa is designed for self-catering.
You enter through the entrance hall wit hits antique bench, then you proceed to the large living room with its big fireplace, its glass wall facing the terrace and its generously dimensioned open kitchen, all designed in warm, brown-red colours. The period furniture has all been locally purchased and renovated, while the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple - or very elaborated meal. From here, you get to both downstairs bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and antique linen trunks. One bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, while the wheelchair-accessible bathroom has a shower. From both bedrooms you have direct access to the terrace, which in turn leads to the lawn and the pond. From the living room, the wooden stairs lead to the cosy reading corner and the spare bedroom. All three bedrooms have two beds, which can be used as single beds or converted into double beds, according to your own wishes. In the utility room you will find a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner and other utensils for daily housekeeping purposes. The terrace has a comfortable outside table with 6 chairs and boasts a lounge bed, for which you will find comfortable covers in the house. From the garden, your private boardwalk will get you to the swimming pool. Next to the back door, there are outdoor cooking facilities at your disposal: a grill and a stove for the quintessential Hungarian experience: the ‘bogrács’ (kettle) used to make your own goulash.
The natural beauty of the Cserehát region, of which Irota is called the gateway, is located on the south side of the Hungarian-Slovak border and is defined by the Sajó, Bódva and Hernád rivers. Compared with the rougher, Slovak side of the area the Cserehát is undulating and covered with forest. It also has a thriving wildlife. Visitors will see a lot of foxes and deer. The usually shy wild boars are less visible, but also present in large numbers. The hills are 250 to 300 meters high on average. The area is popular with hikers, bikers, fishermen and hunters, while the large variety of bird species makes the Cserehát an ornithological destination par excellence. Close is Edelény, 20 kilometres away from Irota. This little town is especially good for day-to-day shopping, but also boasts the recently completely renovated L'Huillier-Coburg Palace. The costume movie in 3D prior to the tour is only in Hungarian, but very rewarding nevertheless. A nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Aggtelek National Park is a 30 minutes drive away and is especially renowned for its Baradla Cave, a 26 kilometres long underground system of stalagmite caves. Tours begin from both sides in the villages of Aggtelek and Jósvafő respectively. We are happy to assist you with information and making reservations. Miskolc with its 170,000 inhabitants is the third city of Hungary after Budapest and Debrecen. In spite of its pleasant pedestrian main street, the city itself, can unfortunately not exactly be called beautiful. However, there are certainly reasons for a visit: for example, the now renovated Diósgyőr fortress on the outskirts of the city is worth the trouble, especially since it regularly hosts theatre performances and festivals. The resort town of Miskolctapolca, now part of Miskolc, is home the renowned cave baths (Barlangfürdő), where the visitor of these thermal baths can actually swim through the cave system. In Miskolctapolca you can also take the bobsleigh track or go e-karting in the Avalon park. In Varbó, at the foot of the Bükk Mountains, you can take a Segway tour with a guide, ranging from half an hour to two hours. The enchanting Palace Hotel at Lillafüred is also recommended, partly because of the scenic ride with the little forest train that gets you there, but also because the ‘ Végállomás' restaurant at the departure point of the train. The large and well-stocked market on central Búza tér (Wheat Square) is very convenient for the purchase of fresh food. Miskolc can be reached by car from Irota in 45 minutes.

My place is close to the Aggtelek National Park and part of it with the nearest cave of Rackoczi cave. Public transport is available however it is more convenient if the guests are picked up. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the cosiness also with the privacy which we can provide. The host does not stay in the house, nor in the village, but can arrange the check in and the check out appropriately. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
Bodvarako is on the route of the famouse Hungarian "Blue-tour" which accrosses the country and it is also near to the "Rakoczi cave" which is famous its unique dripstones.
We have a good relationship with neighbours and often they help us to communicate with guests, if we are not around.

The Irota EcoLodge premises consist of three spacious, luxurious and well-equipped holiday villas and a shared natural swimming pool (size 6x16m). The second of our three houses is the Middle House with its funky, 1960s design. It is the only house with a well in its original place on the terrace and has the prettiest view on the garden. Behind the gate in front of the house as well as behind it you will find ample parking space. You enter through the entrance hall with its pleather mini-couch, then you proceed to the large living room with its big fireplace, its glass wall facing the terrace and its generously dimensioned open kitchen, all designed in different shades of blue. The period furniture has all been locally purchased and renovated, while the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple - or very elaborated meal. On the kitchen walls, you can admire 1960s ladies’ magazines from Hungary, while the walls are decorated with copies of socialist-realist art works. From the living, you get to both downstairs bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. One bathroom is equipped with a bath tub, while the wheelchair-accessible bathroom has a shower.
At the end of the village the last of our three houses is the Upper House with its modern and bright design. Due to its L-shape, the house has by far the biggest terrace of all three and offers an unspoilt view on the valley. Behind the gate in front of the house you will find ample parking space. You enter through the entrance hall with its wooden bench, then you proceed to the large living room with its big fireplace, its glass wall facing the huge terrace and its generously dimensioned open kitchen, all designed in light and green colours. From here, you get to both downstairs bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and closets made of previously used materials. One bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, while the wheelchair-accessible bathroom has a shower. From both bedrooms you have direct access to the terrace with its free view on the valley, which in turn leads to the stairs offering access to the lawn.
