The bright private bedroom has a SMALL double bed.

The bedroom is east facing and bright with lots of sunlight, and gets the morning sun. You can see the new BA i360 from the window, and there is a small balcony/fire escape although you do need to climb out of the window to get onto it.

There is wardrobe space, a chest of drawers, bedside table and a TV. The bed is technically a 'small double' that is W127cm x L198cm so perfect for one, but not as spacious if there are two of you.

The bedroom is yours for your stay. The beauty of the flat is the lovely living area that gets afternoon and evening sun and has a great seaview. You are very welcome to use the living space for breakfast time, eating and relaxing. We are away some of the festive period (2016/7) so you may have the flat to yourselves depending on when you stay. If you are on business the dining room table is good for working on.

I work most afternoons/evenings and weekends so you are likely to have the flat to yourselves a fair amount of the time. My partner doesn't live here full time but he is here a few nights a week and he may well be the person checking you in and out if I am working.

I love the area and have lived here for a number of years. It is moments from the sea and Hove Lawns (perfect for summer BBQs) and there is a lovely pub with outdoor seating next door. Palmeira Square, Western Road and Church Road have a massive range of eateries, bars, and shops, from the cheap and cheerful to the more upmarket. There is a Sainsbury and Tesco within 2 minutes walk.

This area of Hove is a bit quieter than the hustle and bustle of central Brighton, but is an easy bus ride or 20-25 minute walk to The Laines or Palace Pier.

Bus stops to get you pretty much anywhere in the city are 2-3 minutes walk away, and we are about equidistant to either Hove or Brighton mainline railway stations. Both are about 20-25 minutes walk. The number 6 bus goes direct to Brighton Station. Parking, like all of Brighton & Hove, is more tricky. We are in Zone M, there are some metered parking spaces nearby or on request I can arrange visitor parking permits for £3 a day if needed.

A simple 'help yourself' breakfast is provided. Muesli/granola with yoghurt and/or toast with various jams and of course marmite for those that love it... There is tea and coffee too. Fresh coffee is from a cafetiere.

Matt had such a lovely modern space. The bathroom, kitchen and room were so clean problem more clean than any hotel I've ever stayed at! Location was a bit of a walk but from the centre but still near lovely breakfast cafes and bars. As a host he was absolutely wonderful, my boyfriend and I love dinning. We asked Matt about any recommendations for lunch or dinner, he gave us a few to which we went to at least 1 every day! All amazing food, which absolutely made our stay. If your thinking of staying with Matt I would definitely get his list of restaurants, you wont be disappointed !

Had a great weekend here over the bank holiday, Matt was a very wonderful and helpful host, and showed us some key points about Brighton to go check out which was very helpful. The flat itself is lovely full of light and very clean with great views, which was great to wake up to before going off and exploring. Highly recommended for anyone looking to check out Brighton.

Es war unsere erste airbnb Unterkunft und Matt hat die Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt, konnten die Waschmaschine benutzen und haben sehr guten Kaffee getrunken. Danke für die grandiosen Tipps, die Umgebung von Brighton und Soth Downs zu erkunden. Die Stunden beim Frühstück und Abendessen mit Matt und Darren waren interessant und haben uns Spaß gemacht. Darren, tolle Bilder und mach weiter...

Matt was extremely helpful in making our stay enjoyable, giving us all the information we needed about getting there and local amenities. Everything was extremely clean and the breakfast provided was great. The weather was exceptional for the weekend we were there. Hove is a lovely place to spend the weekend.

Matt was a wonderful host and I enjoyed my stay at his place very much. The apartment and room are beautiful (great sea view ;)) and Matt made sure I found my way around and had everything I needed. One of my best AirBnB experiences so far!

Beautiful room - absolutely what it says on the tin. Lovely views and at the top of a charming Georgian townhouse. Very clean, and light and airy too. Three nights there - I arrived on the first night at 2am - no problem for Matt who was very obliging and even offered food on arrival. Far better than any B&B in town. Also very clear information in the bedroom re wifi (free and fast), breakfast and other things. Matt a great host all in all.
