Huge discount for a magnificent spacious 3bedroom apartment in Trastevere Rome.

The apartment is located in Trastervere, lies on the slopes of Gianicolo hill, and just steps away from the busy and exciting Trastervere. It is 7 minutes walk to the main square Santa Maria in Trastereve and Piazza San Cosimato, which is
in the middle of a long string of pedestrian zoned streets that can take meander along through Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere to Piazza Sant’ Egidio, Piazza della Scala, across the pedestrian Ponte Sisto (Sixth bridge) to the east side of the Tiber, to Piazza Farnese, Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza della Rotunda (the Pantheon), and ultimately, Fontana di Trevi, all within walking distance. Each of these Piazzas has its own distinct architecture, entertainments and rhythm, with different combinations of historic buildings, restaurants, cafes, enotecas (wine bars), museums, local dives, morning vegetable markets, fountains, kids play areas, and so on.

Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere – about 7 minutes walk from our door – is the epicenter of our part of town, and one of the most popular meeting places in all of Rome. One side of the Piazza is dominated by the 14th century church (with 3rd century foundations) decorated by Byzantine architects who fled from the (then) recently fallen Constantinople (Istanbul). The rest of the Piazza is lined with restaurants, pricey caffes and grand palazzi. Locals and tourists converge on the steps of the fountain in the middle.

Only 100 meter from the apartment is the pleasant Villa Sciara park, a gorgeous place and FREE, it boasts botanical plants and statues of mythological figures. Several fountains represent figures such as Apollo and Daphne, the Dawn and a myriad of fawns at play.

About 5 minutes walk from the apartment, there is the Church of San Pietro in Montorio which was built on the site of an earlier 9th-century church dedicated to Saint Peter, and where from the church courtyard, you can see Donato Bramante's exquisite Tempietto (9:30-12:30 and 2:30-4:30) on the precincts of the Spanish Embassy, is considered a masterpiece of High Renaissance Italian architecture and It is meant to mark the traditional exact spot of St. Peter's martyrdom.

A few minutes walk further from the Church of San Pietro in Montorio, you will see a Baroque fountain built by Pope Paul V in the late-17th century, the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola. The opening scene of the Italian Paolo Sorrentino-movie La Grande Bellezza (Oscar winner 2014) is filmed at the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola. Not only is the fountain itself a beautiful structure, but the view of Rome from the top of the Gianicolo hill is amazing. In other words, make sure to bring your best camera to try and capture the panoramic view of the city.

Garden Patio and barbecue + Internet Wifi
