Nyumba Ebenezer is an amazing place to get away from noise and just chill. Kingi was a great help and Phillipe and Marie- Noelle were really quick with their responses. Thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed 2 weeks with our 3 kids and friends in this wonderful house. it is spacious with very good natural ventilation (gentle sea breeze) and fair price. The environment of Kibokoni village is not touristic (which we appreciated) while the connection to town amen…

We stayed for two days. Our room smelled of cigarettes, the mosquito net was ripped and there were some in the bed, the rain dropped on my friends gear as the roof was useless against it, there are no hot water in one of the floors and the kitchen was full of ants, flies etc. …

Thank you for your comments which are going to help us to improve our rent. First of all we think that people who read others comments can imagine easily how the property is nice to stay in, and how we try with our housekeeper to do our best in helping guests to have a very nice time in “Nyumba Ebenezer”. We need to bring some small precision because it was very difficult to communicate with you Noy before your arrival, and you didn’t contact us during your stay at home. We guess that the communication with our housekeeper was not so good too. So your comments, directly on Airbnb website without any exchange with us on these subjects, were a big surprise for us! The roof of the house is new (September 2015), so what happened with leaks was an accident. We apologize for this disappointment. Our housekeeper informed us, but the carpenter was not available. According to him (housekeeper) it happened one time and no beds were concerned by these damages, but sorry for that! One carpenter is working right now to repair it. As it is stipulate in the house rules, smoking is not allowed in the rooms, every guests are supposed to respect that point … (some of your friends were smoking, in the garden I’m sure). There are two different systems for hot water in the villa, one for the first floor, another for the second one. Our housekeeper was supposed to inform you how it works, but he might have forgotten to do it because guests generally need hot water only in cold season… But if you would have asked him, or us by mail, you would have received a quick answer. According to the insects, Malindi is in a Tropical area with its advantages and inconveniences. All the nets of the house were repaired or changed in February 2016. But damages can happen, and here again if our housekeeper is informed by guests, the mosquito nets can be repaired very quickly because one of our neighbors works as a tailor. We buy some new anti-insects spray for every newcomer and here again the housekeeper should be informed if there is any special problem (You didn’t want any spray in your room because of your child …) Concerning your comment about the price, we work with Airbnb “Smart Pricing” to help our prices automatically changes in demand, and we got no complain on that point from the beginning. You payed around 100 euros per day for 8 people for all private house with pool. I’m not sure Noy that you could find such a property for 50 euros per day in the area … But we respect your point of view.
