Close to Rodney Bay and beaches, with a great open plan kitchen, living and dining leading out to a deck with amazing sea views. New build, with modern fixtures. Bedrooms on the first floor with ensuite bathrooms. Powder room + laundry also included.

L'alloggio

Modern and New Condo block of 4 units in an amazing and convenient location. It's just a 5 minute drive to Rodney Bay, Baywalk and JQ shopping malls, the best restaurants and night life. A 3-minute drive south takes you to a 8-screen cinema which offers the latest movies, as well as pizza parlor, coffee shop, supermarket and banks. There are supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance of the condo. You can also purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from roadside vendors nearby. The bustling city of Castries is just 2 miles away with government offices, banks, cruise ship terminal and other businesses as well as the renowned Castries market. The bus stop is conveniently located just outside and buses run 24-hours.

The quiet Marisule Beach is a short walk away. You will find more popular beaches in Rodney Bay or Pigeon Island.

The units are approximately 1,100 sq ft with well appointed open plan living, dining and seaview patio on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. There is also a washer/dryer on the ground floor as well as a convenient powder room.

Two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms are located on the first floor. One bedroom has a 3ft x 10ft balcony with sea views. Bedrooms are simply decorated and we provide towels and bed linens. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and air conditioning. A rooftop solar system provides ample hot water for showering.

The units come with both American (110v) and English power/electrical (220v) systems. Wifi and cable tv with mainly American programming is available.

Each unit has parking for 2 cars in the front. The units are within a gated compound and each unit is equipped with its own security alarm system.

The condo was great! Very clean and had all the conveniences for the travelers who like to experience the culture, foods, and people of the island. The bus stop is just steps away from the condo so for less than $1 US, you can travel to Rodney Bay for groceries and a stroll on the beach or travel to the Casteries for local produce... there is a grocery store within 5-10 minute walk (used it mainly for adult beverages) but we found fresh Blue Marlin steaks for $4 US per pound, amazingly fresh! A short walk to the Calabash Cove Resort is well worth the 20 minute walk, it requires you to walk up and over a pretty steep hill but it's a paved road and well worth the hike... once you arrive at the resort, just pay $20 per person and you have a day guest pass and you have access to all the comforts you'd expect of a 5 Star resort... great beach, infinity pool, amazing food, friendly staff, and a spa... the Couples Message by the ocean was well worth the money, there are no crowds there and you'll easily be able to find a nice shaded chair or cabana and spend the day in comfort. Our hosts were wonderful and very responsive, any needs or questions were responded to immediately. The view from the outside balcony was great... we knew we picked the right spot when we saw the double rainbow over the ocean on the second morning there. The road next to the condo leads down to the beach, it's a 10 minute walk and the view is great, however, walking over the rocks to go swimming was a bit uncomfortable... just make the hike to resort or take the bus to Rodney Bay instead. I HIGHLY recommend this condo and my wife and I are somewhat picky about our accommodations... you can't beat Calabash Condo! We are more of the 'adventure travelers' and the all-inclusive scene is not for us. If you like experiencing island life (with the comforts of the resort experience when you want it), this is the place to stay.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Calabash Condos. Our hosts, Debi and Anselm were friendly and attentive and more than accommodating when it came to our needs. A special thanks goes out to Anselm who helped us resolve a local issue involving our vehicle. He went far beyond what you would expect a property manager to do and his assistance was greatly appreciated. The location of the condo is excellent as you are close to the bustle of Castries and the beaches of Rodney Bay. The condo is modern and well appointed including a large screen sat tv. The views from the balcony are magnificent and the sunsets will amaze you. We explored the many beaches in the area including Reduit and Pidgeon Island. My only advice would be to not leave valuables in your vehicle even if it is locked, especially at Vigie Beach. Regardless, you will feel totally safe but being vigilant is never a bad thing for tourists. Check out Marjorie's place on Plantation Beach. This is the cool and rustic beach restaurant that Amy Winehouse used to frequent. You can drive on the beach and enjoy a very calm swim beach on the Atlantic side. If you enjoy snorkelling try Sugar Beach, Anse Chastenet and Pidgeon Point. Our favourite was Anse Cochon near Anse La Ray. It's a cool 50 minute drive along the coast or you can board a catamaran from Rodney Bay. Finally, if you are looking for a great beach day, slide next door the the Calabash Cove Resort, have some drinks or enjoy lunch and take advantage of their fantastic beach and swim up bar facilities. All in all, we totally enjoyed our stay at Calabash Condos and we look forward to the day that we will return. Thanks again goes out to Debi and Anselm for their gracious hospitality. We arrived to find the house in excellent condition and exactly as shown in the pictures. Our host was there to meet us with the keys. He was generous enough to drive us into town and give us a tour of the local restaurants and beech. The location is perfect, right off of the main road, half way between Gros Islet and Castries. You're only a short bus ride away from things to do either north or south of you. The bus system is incredibly quick and the longest we waited was 5 mins for a bus. The buses also run all hours of the day between this stretch and there is rarely a slow down in service. The best public beach on the island is a 5-10min bus ride + 20min walk away. Or you can walk 5min to the end of the street and use the local beach which is shared mainly by the residents of the street. Very rarely was it busy. Our hosts lived only 2 minutes away and checked in by email twice to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do to improve our stay. They were very hospitable and gracious. A pleasure to deal with! The house has a great Western view and is perfect to watch the sunset from either the 2nd story balcony off of the main bedroom or the patio on the main floor. The house came equipped with all amenities needed to prepare meals at home. We bought groceries from the local grocery store which is only a 5min walk away. We were able to cook 2 meals a day comfortably with all of the pots/pans and utensils needed to make proper meals. Don't make the mistake we did and buy your groceries from the tourist area if you plan to cook at home, the cost is double that of the local grocery store. There was an AC unit on the main floor and in each bedroom in case you need to escape the heat. All units were more than sufficient to keep you cool when needed. Had a chance to use the Washer/Dryer unit in the apt and it worked great. If you're looking to live like you would at home while you're on vacation this is the perfect place to do it. Everything you need is provided in the apartment. Overall fantastic experience. Everything is as described in the listing and Saint Lucia was a beautiful place to visit! Would definitely stay at Calabash Condos again and recommend it to others. Thank you Debi and Anslem for making our stay memorable. It was a pleasure to stay at your house and have you as our hosts.

Wonderful place, just as advertised. Nicely furnished and a great location. The view from the back deck is fantastic. We felt very secure staying there. The managers, Debi and Anselm were very easy to get ahold of and accommodating. Was handy having a washer and dryer, the kitchen had plenty of cookware, WI-fi worked great, as did the air conditioning. There are neighbors on both sides but you don't even know they are there. The bus stop and grocery store are close and the public bus is very easy to use. The beach below the condo is beautiful, short walk but not a place you can swim at. We had a wonderful time at calabash condo's and would highly recommend it.

Debi et Anselm sont d'une grande gentillesse, ils sont accueillants et font le maximum pour vous. L'appartement est parfait, très bien équipé, et très bien placé près de Rodney Bay. La vue de la terrasse est encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos, elle est fantastique, et vous pourrez assister à de beaux couchers de soleil ! Nous vous conseillons vivement cet appartement, et merci encore à Debi et Anselm. A très bientôt...
