Our home is located in the heart of the scenic Village of "DEEP COVE" a quaint, seaside community on the banks of Indian Arm. As well as fronting the Pacific Ocean, THE COVE (as locals call it) is surrounded by the North Shore Mountains, and the ever changing rain forest. There are two interconnected community parks, Deep Cove Park and Panorama Park, both with public beach access. DEEP COVE is listed as one of Vancouver's TOP TEN attractions.

The Cove's main street, Gallant Avenue, offers visitors a variety of unique stores, sidewalk cafes, restaurants, art galleries and community theater. There is also a local corner grocery, and pharmacy for everyday necessities.

Spectacular scenery and a wide range of recreational facilities are taken for granted. The community is home to the Deep Cove Yacht Club, the Seycove Marina, Deep Cove Kayak, and Deep Cove Rowing—all catering to water sports and recreation. With 16 km (10 miles) of spectacular fiord on our doorstep, Deep Cove offers visitors sailing, power boating, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing.

Our local North Shore mountains provide winter skiing, snowboarding, and snow shoeing on Mount Seymour, a short 10 minutes away. The mountains also provide year round hiking, and legendary world class mountain biking on the numerous maintained trails.

If you are arriving by car, park your vehicle, and enjoy the Cove's many sights and activities. All the local area main attractions are within walking distance. Deep Cove Community Park, Deep Cove Kayak & Water Sports (rentals, lessons & guided tours), and the public beach areas are literally a few steps from our front door. It is a 2-3 minute walk to the Village Hub, Panorama Park, and public transit service to Downtown Vancouver. Major grocers, a walk-in health clinic, and other retailers are within a 5 minute drive, and can be accessed by public transit.

See the attached Area Access Map for transit stops, public trails, beach areas and other neighbourhood amenities.

The location was amazing. Just a short walk to coffee shops/restaurants/waters edge and a beautiful view of the marina right when you come out the door and start walking towards the main part of town. The place itself was recently renovated, is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It has its own private entrance, it is quiet and has a comfortable queen size bed along with a washer/dryer and full kitchen. Doris was very accommodating and easy to work with along with being highly responsive and having a sweet, personal demeanor. This place is highly recommended.

The apartment was spotless, well appointed with some little unexpected touches like bottled water etc. This is an excellent location, decent price and easy to communicate with. Would recommend this to others.

Thoughtful attention to detail - had all that one needed right down to great expresso with cream in the fridge :) Expectations surpassed. Loved the decor, the quiet, and the location. Enjoyed a tip-toe view of the water in the cove and the sun reflecting off the mountains out the back patio door. A bonus: Doris was very flexible re: checkin/outs which suited my needs. Will definitely look at staying here again - thank you.

I honestly fell in love with this amazing place! A cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood, beautiful nature, many hiking trails, nice local restaurants and cafes- what else could I ask for more? Plus, a short walk to the bus stop, which takes you anywhere including a lot of attractions and downtown. My favorite routine was to visit one of cafes after a nice hike up Quarry Rock and have some delicious smoothies or late lunch. Even though the wet season had already set in, we were fortunate enough to see some stars at night near the ocean. And Doris and Rob are wonderful people. They gave all the information we needed to make our stay just perfect. I'm glad we could visit this incredible place. I cannot wait to come back!

Doris welcomed us at the door. This apt is beautifully decorated, equipped and functional. I enjoyed reading the guide books and the advice for activities. If you are a nature lover this is the place for you. Beautiful place, host, mountains, forest, trails and cove. Really hated leaving and will consider when we can get back again.
