Sole occupancy of top floor for up to four people in two rooms with private WC. There is one double bedroom and an adjoining room that can be used either as a sitting room, or as a bedroom with double futon if your group is three or four people. The two rooms are connected via a short passageway with no door between. Shared bathroom with shower.
The house is in a quiet residential area but it's just 10 minutes to walk to the town with pubs, restaurants etc or escape into the countryside.
You will have sole use of the 2nd floor of our end-terrace home. Access from the 1st floor is a fairly narrow, winding staircase, so regrettably the rooms are not not suitable for people with restricted mobility.
There is a double bedroom and adjoining sitting room with futon that converts to a double bed.
The bedroom is at the back of the house overlooking our quiet secluded garden. The sitting room at the front of the house has views of the cathedral tower. There is double-glazing and central heating with individual thermostatic radiators in both rooms.
The adjacent washroom with WC is just for your use and the shared bath / shower room is on the 1st floor.
We provide tea, coffee, water and biscuits. And you are very welcome to use our kitchen and dining room by arrangement.
Please check out our other listing of a "spacious room" which sleeps one or two people for £20 - £35 per night
Guests may enjoy our mature quiet garden.

Access to and from the A14 is very simple- take the East exit to find us. But because the roads in our area were laid out at a time before cars, parking is restricted! Free 24/7 on-street parking is available in Beech Rise (IP33), about 100-200 metres from the house. Turn left out of Beech Rise into Southgate St: number 82 is about 100 metres up on your left. Or you can drop-off and offload directly outside our front door and we will direct you to the parking.
There is also parking in Southgate St overnight from 6.00pm to 8.00am.
Check out is 11.00am, but please ask if you would like a later check out.
Sorry, but no visitors without prior agreement.
