Brandon and Katie were amazing hosts. Though we did not meet in person, they were in communication with us beginning at the time we booked our stay in their home. Katie answered all my questions regarding the amenities in the house and attractions in the area. She made it clear that we were welcome to enjoy their home as we would our own. About a week before our arrival, our hosts touched base again to be sure we had the information needed to gain access to the home and to see if we had any other questions for them. There was a very complete welcome packet, in the home, which gave us information regarding doing laundry, use of the TV and sound system, garbage pick up, and many other details that helped us to gain the "lay of the land". They also encouraged us to contact them, during our stay, if we needed or wondered about anything in the home. Katie and Brandon could not have been more accommodating. When I messaged them asking if they might have a backpack we could borrow, as we had forgotten to pack one, the answer came immediately, telling us exactly where they had one that we were welcome to use. We loved everything about this home! It was immaculately clean and impeccably decorated. There are lots of windows and the rooms are bright. The furniture is clean, modern and inviting. The beds are comfortable - each morning everyone, in our party, reported having had a great night's sleep. Our hosts left us well supplied. They anticipated all our needs! From band aids, sunscreen, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms, to freshly ground coffee and a wonderful array of teas in the kitchen, we wanted for nothing. Early morning coffee, on the patio, watching the deer in the backyard was a treat, as was cooking dinner for friends in the well appointed and equipped kitchen! The location of the house was perfect for us. It is situated in a pretty development of newer, well kept homes. It is just minutes from town, where we spent a lot of time enjoying the awesome restaurants and the fabulous shows at the Alpine Theatre Project. And, the house is within a 30 - 40 minute drive to Glacier Park, and only about 10 minutes up to Big Mountain. We were able to pack many activities, into each day, because of the central location of the house. Also, the close proximity to the grocery store meant we were able to grab what we needed with ease. Everything about this house, and the graciousness of our hosts, more than exceeded our expectations! If you are planning a stay in Whitefish, we would highly recommend that you rent this beautiful home!
