High-end, spacious, modern, safe & quiet flat with great interior, located in the most-sought after, safe and charming West London area of Kensington ("W8") in quiet Lexham Gardens. A 15-minute walk up to Notting Hill and 10-minute walk to Hyde Park.

THE PLACE

Spacious & modern flat with great interior, located in the most-sought after, safe and charming West London area of core Kensington ("W8") in quiet Lexham Gardens off Marloes Road and 15-minute walk up to Notting Hill and 10-minute walk to Hyde Park.

The flat is on the first floor of a Georgian building and has been finished to high specification and high modern standards. It is bright with large windows and high ceilings, wooden floors throughout and very spacious. It has a well-integrated kitchen with granite worktops and full range of state-of-the-art appliances. The flat provides excellent entertainment space in the living room and on the terrace leading out to the front.

There is lots of storage throughout the flat, and the flat has everything that a modern home would have including 2 ovens, hob, dishwasher, washer, dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, vacuum cleaner, Wi-Fi, etc. Kitchen essentials are in the apartment such as cooking pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, kettle, toaster, etc. Bedding and towels are being provided.

Right in the heart of Kensington with numerous shops and restaurants around, the local neighbourhood is safe and within 5 minutes walk to Kensington High Street to the North. Towards the East/South, sought-after Gloucester Road/Fulham Road are within 5 to 10-minute walks, respectively. Nearest Earl’s Court or Gloucster Road tube stations are a 5-minute walk (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines), providing excellent and direct connection to the City of London. Heathrow airport is 50 minutes away by tube and 30 minutes by car. Notting Hill is 15 minutes walking. Central London (Piccadilly) is 15 minutes away by tube. A large Sainsbury’s supermarket is only around corner on Cromwell Road.

MASTER BEDROOM + EN-SUITE BATHROOM

The quiet master bedroom facing the back has a UK King Size bed (sleeps 2).

There is the option of placing an airbed mattress in this room.

There is also the option of placing a crib for an infant in this room.

The bathroom is en-suite: modern with granite finishing, floor heating, separate bath tub and luxurious walk-in shower (overhead + hand-held).

SECOND BEDROOM

The quiet second bedroom also facing the back has a UK King Size bed (sleeps 2).

The second bathroom with floor heating and a walk-in shower (overhead + hand-held shower) features a washing machine and dryer behind wood panelling.

LIVING ROOM

The living room features a cosy seating arrangement of two sofas around a coffee table. On the other side of the room is a large, wooden dining table (seats 6), next to the walk-in kitchen. Access to the balcony is via the living room.

Beautiful, modern and very conveniently situated flat in London's lovely and quiet Kensington area - just perfect for a party of four as we were. Robin is indeed the perfect host; always communicating and doing his absolute best to accommodate any wishes. I wouldn't hesitate to return here, and I will be recommending Robin as host to everyone looking for a high quality place to stay and a very attentive host. Thank you, Robin!

The flat is in a great location - close to two Tube stations, restaurants, supermarkets, bakery, and Starbucks. The flat was clean, spacious, and everything - appliances, showers, toilets, wifi, etc. - worked, like home! There is plenty of natural light in all rooms. Robin is responsive to questions and provided great suggestions on restaurants in the area. We had a great stay and would recommend this flat to friends.

This was my third Airbnb to rent in London and it was the best pick, yet. First of all, Robin is the best and most responsive host I've had, the flat was immaculate, and in a very upscale location. Close to Gloucester Road tube station and Earls Court. It's actually right in the middle of the two stations which gives you easy access to get almost anywhere you want to go in London. And, a straight shot to Heathrow (all terminals). The flat is updated with two nice bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked many meals while we were there. There is a nice terrace to sit and enjoy the scenery while having a glass of wine! There is a grocery store, literally, a five minute walk away (if that!). Restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes all right there. Ten to fifteen minute walk to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, and Whole Foods. I could go on and on complimenting Robin and his flat. Also, I choose my Airbnb rentals from reading reviews so there is a reason Robin has so many good reviews! Cheers, Roxanna

The unit and location are fantastic. It is thoughtfully appointed and Robin is very responsive. We have a young child and Robin was accommodating with both a bed and crib in the second bedroom. The location with its proximity to Kensington Palace is great for children. The cons with staying there for a month was that the Internet connection can be spotty, the stereo setup for the tv is old and the coffee maker was broken. With this said, I would stay again if I were making another long stay in London and would recommend to anyone.
