Very cute 1 bedroom unit plus loft.


Recent partial remodel. Recent improvements include all new granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms; new doors, new windows for better insulation and less road noise; new flatscreen TV and various living room improvements as well as overall decor. Tasteful and cheery!
Bedroom on living room level with bunked Twins and a Queen, plus TV/VHS. Full bath, tiled kitchen, counter stools, dining table for 4, TV/VHS/DVD and CD/Cassette player. Wood burning fireplace, charcoal grill on deck over river. Lofted room with King bed and TV/DVD, plus master bath and laundry.
Located at the base of Alpine Meadows Road, it is a perfect location to ski or play at Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley! Plus you can walk to the River Ranch Lodge, Restaurant and bar--a famous local hot spot and "take out" site for river rafters in summertime. Amenities include shared hot tub, sauna, tennis & pool (summer only). There is a great riverside cafe right across the street, and a paved river trail for walking, biking (rentals in Tahoe City and Squaw Valley) and numerous trailheads to high mountain areas.
No smoking or pets please.
***SUMMER 2015*** Bridge construction at the corner of Hwy 89 and Alpine Meadows Road. Noise and detours should be expected!

Many of our properties do NOT allow animals of any kind. You must notify the rental office if you choose to bring your dog, and verify you have rented a dog-friendly property. An additional dog fee may apply and is paid directly to the Rental Agent. By paying for your reservation you agree to NEVER leave your dog unattended at the property, to pick up after your dog, and to not allow the dog on the furniture.
Arrival and Check In
Pick up your Lake Tahoe vacation rental keys at our office in Tahoe City. Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Our office is open 7 days a week, 9 am to 5pm. If you arrive early, feel free to take a walk on the beach, or shop around town, knowing your rental home is being thoroughly cleaned and inspected as you wait. Please take a moment to notify us of any damages or problems immediately, so we may have a chance to correct them (whether you caused it or not).

Late Arrival

If you arrive after business hours, we will automatically put your personalized Welcome Packet with the keys to your rental unit into a black metal box located to the right of our staircase that leads upstairs to the rental office. Be sure to bring your map to the rental unit that you can print from the web site.

Departure and Check Out Policies

Check out time is 11:00 AM. Please leave any used beds unmade, take out the garbage and leave all dishes clean. Other procedures are found in your welcome packet. Please return your keys to our rental office upon vacating the rental unit. A late check-out fee of $50/hour could result if you do not vacate the unit and return your keys to our office on time. DO NOT put the ashes from the fireplace in the garbage can or paper bags! LEAVE THE ASHES in the fireplace; the cleaning staff will dispose of them appropriately! Thank you.

HOA Beach/Pool/Spa Keys & Access Cards

When renting a home with private HOA amenities, access keys or cards are either issued with your welcome packet or are kept at the property. You are responsible for the key or access card once you check in. Please contact us immediately if you did not receive the key or access card, or if it is not at the property. A fee of $100 will be assessed if the key or access card is not returned to where it was issued.

Maximum Occupancy

No guests in excess of the maximum occupancy specified on the property information sheet shall occupy the property. Breach of this OR ANY provision herein will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement with a forfeiture of the entire rental amounts and/or security deposit.

No Parties!!!

We want our guests to have fun, but loud and unruly tenants will not be tolerated. All of our homes are located in residential areas and may NOT be used for weddings, receptions, parties, or large gatherings. Any disruptive parties could result in the immediate eviction & forfeiture of entire rental amount & security deposit.

No Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted in ANY of our rental properties. Please be conscientious and only smoke outdoors. Be fire safe, and dispose of butts/ash properly.

Furnishings & Supplies

All of our rental properties have a fully equipped kitchen, television, blankets & pillows, linens, sheets and bath towels (though you may want to bring extras), and most have telephone, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not required items (and many do not provide because of bears). We start you off with two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom & 2 rolls of paper towels. Additional supplies can be purchased at the local supermarkets. Firewood is NOT supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October), and BBQs ARE NOT PROVIDED during winter months (Thanksgiving through Easter). Please bring your own charcoal, but propane/gas BBQs will have propane during summer months.

Parking/Mountain Driving

During winter, snow removal from the driveway is provided automatically. Check the property information sheet before you confirm your unit to be sure there is ample parking for your group. Be sure you know the laws in regards to winter parking. Do not park in the street! Your car will get towed! Driving conditions may be hazardous as well. Be prepared. We suggest you read our WINTER DISCLOSURE to help you prepare for travel in the Sierras.


Garbage pickup is once a week. Please put trash into trashcans located INSIDE the metal bear proof garbage “hut" located curbside. Please do not leave any garbage outside as animals will make a mess of it. Most condominiums have dumpsters on site. You can recycle by separating your trash into “blue bags" available at the grocery stores locally. Do not leave any food in your car! Bears might try to break in!

Items Left Behind

Be sure to gather up & take home ALL of your belongings when you check out. We are not responsible for items left behind. There will be a minimum charge of $25 to retrieve any personal belonging left behind.


We cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control such as any type of noise pollution including construction, public or private functions, events, neighbors. Wildfire smoke, interruption of services or utilities including power, water, phone, internet, gas, cable tv or unexpected appliance breakdowns, weather conditions and road closures are all beyond our control.

Please note: NONE of our Lake Tahoe rentals have AIR CONDITIONING.
A few small portable A/C units are available at; C'est La Vie, Dollar Hill 61, and Bluestone Lakefront Retreat.


1. I acknowledge that I have received and agree to the check-in Procedures & Guest Policies as part of this document. I understand the Cleaning Fee, Damage Protection Fee, and optional Travel Insurance are non-refundable.

2. Upon check-in, if I find any broken or dirty items, I will contact the rental office immediately. I agree to contact the rental office to report any damage which occurred during my stay whether due to my negligence or not.

3. I agree to leave the premises in a neat and tidy condition.

4. I recognize all Hauserman Rental Properties are NON-SMOKING, and dogs are only allowed in designated homes. I understand that an amount equal to the holding deposit will be forfeited if either of these terms are violated.

5. I recognize that Hauserman Rental Group reserves the right to transfer this reservation to another unit in an emergency.

6. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hauserman Rental group and the homeowner from all liability, loss, cost or damage in relation to my stay.

7. Any legal action in relation to this agreement shall only be heard in Placer County Superior Court, Tahoe Division.

The cabin is conveniently located and sits right next to a lovely stream. The property management company was great to deal with and very responsive. I had no internet the whole time I was there which was disappointing. The management company mentioned that it's new service and that the north shore has poor internet reliability. This should be disclosed in the listing so travelers such as myself who rely on it can make an informed decision before they rent. I think future renters would appreciate knowing before thy book. The carpets could stand to be cleaned and I could smell a pet odor even though the listing says no pets? Otherwise our stay was enjoyable!

Hello Sara, We appreciate your feedback and apologize about these problems you experienced. The internet has been working great for all of the other guests at the condo ever since being installed. We could have helped troubleshoot while you were there, sorry it didn't work out this time. To clear the record the internet has consistently worked well once available in our neighborhood. Regarding the pet odor. We again must apologize. The home owner got a dog, unbeknownst to us. We have now made this one of our only Dog Friendly condo's. The place was clean and nice to stay in. It's also very close to Squaw and Alpine - just a few minutes to get to each. If you're skiing at Squaw, it's a great option.

Excellent condo location that's nestled between the mountains. Great view from the hot tub and the condo is just as described.
