Seven minute walk to the MBTA trolley, then after a short ride, transfer to the Red Line on the Boston Subway. Clean and comfortable. Stair climbing required. Shared bath with other rented rooms in the house. Good value, especially if you want easy access to the subway and areas south of Boston.

Sandy is a a very friendly host and quite helpful . However towards the end of are stay she wasn't responding to messages or phone calls . The description of the house does not state that there are 3 bedrooms and only one shared bathroom . The house is also very dim and lacks light . Our initial stay was fine however later on the other room that could only accomadte 4 people was given to 5 people , who were very noisy and messy . The house wasn't cleaned on time that week . And one of the guests was sleeping on the living room sofa , causing a lack of privacy .

It was very challenging to host these guest(s). The reservation was made by their daughter Sahar. She reserved the Cozy II room unknown to me (only) for her parents. I came to learn after their arrival that there were some extenuating circumstances - Medical as the father noted in his public feedback. At the end of their reservation 8/8/17. They did not want to leave our location due to comfort and those circumstances. Even though future dates were already booked for other guests. Terry (the father) repeatedly offered me cash payment to stay. It was uncomfortable and challenging as I had to state frequently as a Host we can not take cash payment from our guest. Being a Humanitarian at heart I hired a handyman, completed and listed another room: Fireplace Haven for their use at more then a 50% discount. As soon as the room was posted (it was taken that night). They failed to book the room same day as suggested. By the next morning a different interested guest had booked the room. Extending another kindness, with the help of Airbnb- we declined that guest and got the room back online. Then we booked their (new) stay from 8/8/17-8/15/17. We did this for them at an extremely reduced rate. During this entire time period Terry along with daughter Sahar, their family, friends had extended use of the entire house, including outdoor grounds, etc. All was well. On 8/13/17 a new group of young business travelers checked into the Cozy II room- 2nd level. Unknown to all they brought 1 additional person within their group. The group later made right that dynamic. Nevertheless, the noted guest found fault with most of their movements though they had only just arrived. On 8/14/17, I called the noted guest (Terry and daughter Sahar) as a reminder that their check out date was upon us 8/15/17. Just like the close of their previous reservation, Fireplace Haven now had new incoming guest. This made (father) Terry extremely upset. Like his previous reservation he wanted us to not accept those (guest) and (instead) extend their stay. Though he knew this was his intention he had not proactively booked the room: Fireplace Haven for his additional desired dates. Airbnb as well as Host are very serious about honoring guest reservations. Unfortunately, these noted guest could not accept that the same kindness and courtesy that had been given to them needed to be extended to the new incoming guest who had already booked the room. Thus, the new guest reservation remained and was not cancelled which meant the noted group (Terry and his family) had to depart, this is where the matter escalated. Terry could not hear (anyone) say he had to leave thus I left him and his family to resolve the matter via the Airbnb supports in place as he would not listen to me say we (can not cancel confirmed incoming guest reservations) and I had no other rooms to offer as I had done prior. Airbnb offered alternate accommodations though the noted guest did not have a reservation past 8/15/17. I also agreed to give them an additional day till 8/16/17 with a late checkout of 12 noon and at a reduced rate and additional expense to me as a host. Still this additional kindness did nothing to disseminate the noted guest's growing bitterness at having to leave. In the end it was as if a kindness was never given on their behalf and I as a Host have in contrast, received a barrage of dishonestly which can be clearly seen via study of all the prior guest reviews. Additionally, Sahar public feedback is completely opposite of 98% of our guest and what is honestly noted on the listings. Thus, what is true is what is false is transparent in a revisit of guest reviews and our listing. This is not about our standards. We have very high standards, a beautiful place like Terry and his family guest love it here and most do not want to leave. Thus, the Truth is that this matter resulted from them having to leave our location. A kindness in accommodating their family further then their original reservation end date resulted, in false statements, written and verbal attacks that the noted guest stay was less then favorable. Even though all extensions noted was done per their request in their (best interest) and favor. This Hosting experience, I am still peacefully, learning and praying and growing from it. Sandy was a terrific host. She offered clear instructions for checking-in, settling in, and checking-out. She was also readily available to answer any questions. The house and room were spotless, quiet, and comfortable. The room was properly air conditioned and contained all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay in Boston. I definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice clean place. Oasis tucked away in a busy urban area. We even saw a couple deer at dusk one evening. Easy access to Boston attractions via the "T". It was exactly as portrayed on the Airbnb website.

Sandy is really nice! In the beginning, the Uber driver dropped us at a wrong place, but Sandy is really helpful and kindly told us how to move step by step. Ppl in that neighborhood also friendly and warm-hearted. The house is very clean. The devices are fully equipped. But some of them can be used only when contact w Sandy a little bit earlier. The house is close to red line and it is convenient for ppl.

This was an amazing Air B and B, my first experience. Everything was extremely clean, the fridge had soda/water, and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!
