Clothes Peg is a working cattle station. We have a Cottage (often used as workers quarters) beside our house. It is very basic, but has it's own bathroom and toilet / laundry facilities. We are close to the Blackbraes National Park, so if you would like to visit the Park, and still have a few creature comforts, come and stay. We are also close to the Cheviot Hills Gem Fields on Chudleigh Park. These gem fields have peridots, sapphire and spinel. We also have a large house for families.
Clothes Peg Country Cottage is located 7km off the Hann Highway, that runs north from Hughenden through to The Oasis, Lynd Junction.
The turn off is about 160km north of Hughenden / or 120km south of the Lynd Junction.
The cottage is a set of "railway mens quarters" joined by a verandah, with an attached laundry. Hammocks available.

Hi, we enjoy our very humble country lifestyle, on top of the Great Dividing Range, about 2hr drive north of the small country town Hughenden. We run a Brahman Cattle Station, and enjoy the scenery, and isolation of our remote home. We enjoy the birdlife, emus / brolgas / hundreds of others, and manage our grasses to keep our lifestyle sustainable. We enjoy Japan for a get away skiing each year, such a change from the harsh hot outback, usually in January.
Our bnb is very simple, very 3 star, offering "workers quarters" as our place, with a hearty breakfast provided. Just starting out for now. Treasure the small things, would be our motto. Looking forward to sharing our place with you.
