Ana's place was just as described - a cozy studio in a historic downtown building! Parking was a breeze (even on late weekend nights). We were able to find parking right in front of the building both days and one night we had to park a block down by the park, but it wasn't more than a 2 minute walk to the building so it wasn't bad at all. We felt very safe in the area, even at night. There's a lot of families and other people living in the are so it's mostly people walking dogs or people coming home at night as far as foot traffic goes. Most of the buildings on the block have security and we even became acquainted with a couple of the security guys that we would see while walking our dogs. There's also a hospital emergency room right across the street so there's that traffic to factor in, but it never felt unsafe. The studio itself was nice and just what we needed. The towels, linens, and dishes were clean and ready to be used, and the water in the fridge and fresh fruit left out for us was a nice touch! It definitely gets stuffy on warmer days, but the little AC unit remedies that just fine - it cooled the place down to around 70 degrees the last night we were there. All in all the space was more than sufficient in meeting our needs and the communication and checkin instructions given by Ana were detailed and very helpful. We were able to access the keys and get into the studio just fine. It was just my husband, myself and our 3 small, four-legged children on this trip and we did fine in this space. I would recommend this place to couples and very small families, and I would definitely stay here again myself. Thanks for the hospitality Ana!
