I am offering a private room with a queen size bed on the second floor with its own bathroom. A simple breakfast will be provided between 7-9. Home-baked coffee cake, muffins or scones, fruit + coffee or tea.
We live in a wooded setting, five minutes from downtown Princeton.
Our house used to be a one-room schoolhouse in the late 1800s and while we've kept the original building intact, my architect husband designed an addition inspired by our travels to New Mexico and Italy.
In addition to your ensuite room, you will have access to the great room, the kitchen, the yard and the two decks.

I will welcome you, show you around and answer any question you may have about the area, what to do and where to go.

We have one small dog, a Yorkie named Chloe.
We would prefer no smoking indoors, but outdoors is fine. Please feel free to use the refrigerator in our kitchen, wander the yard or sit on either deck.
Feel free to bring well-behaved pets, just keep in mind that we have a dog as well!

I am a former caterer, a current aggravated gardener (no matter how carefully I inspect the fence, groundhogs always find a way in!) and for the past 6 months, I've been building a Tiny House.
My husband is an architect and we have two daughters at university.
Having grown up in Brussels, I speak French fluently. With some help, I can understand basic German and manage some Italian and Spanish.
I feel very fortunate to be living in Princeton and I would love the opportunity to host you and share with you all that this small town has to offer. There is truly something for everyone.
Apart form the prestigious university, its idyllic campus and impressive architecture, the town features many good restaurants including popular farm to table options. Everyone knows where to get the best coffee at Small World Coffee and the best gelato at Bent Spoon. Every Thursday, right in front of the library, there's a seasonal Farmer's Market. Across the street, at Terra Momo Bread Co. you can buy several types of artisanal breads and delicious sandwiches. If sushi is your thing, we have lots of Japanese options, as well as Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern and Mexican.
Apart from the campus, a stroll in the Institute Woods is a must as is a show at the Tony award-winning McCarter Theatre. An independent movie theatre, The Garden, is also a wonderful option where you can see a National Live Theatre performance. They also feature current movies and oldies.
If canoeing is something you like to do, there's a canoe rental by the tow path along the canal. Oh, and the shopping...many shops, including several consignment shops. And, of course...yoga. We have several yoga studios too!!
Can you tell I like this place...I think you will too.
Until we meet, be well.
