This private room with its own entry has thick cool walls and good beds. The bedding is comfy and there are nice little touches like fans and extra blankets. Easy drive to the beaches and eagles nest, lovely quiet spot with a very interesting garden full of edible plants and sust…

1. There is indeed a blind over the Queen bed - perhaps you didn't use it. Yes, one more blind could be added to North window , but we have an alternative - a privacy screen at end of bed - it works as a blind - you didn't use it perhaps ? All other guests have liked the room set up. Cant please everyone. THE WHOLE POINT OF ArBnb is to be part of the SHARED Economy - sharing some amenities. If you want a hotel- go to hotel. It doesn't happen in true Homestay places. We are true homestay-not a house rental faking it as Airbnb . We will have a second waterless toilet - nearly complete. 2. Regards : “bedroom very dusty. Set off husbands asthma which had been rapidly worsening. began to improve significantly once we left. He has known allergy to dust mites.” . . .Firstly: Was not ' very dusty' ! Is always dusted. Earth houses have some dust that is constant - GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY TO READ THE TEXT PROPERLY - TELL HOSTS OF ANY ALLERGY ! There is NO DUST MITE issue in our house! Your East guest room was spotless and well dusted as always ! Your husbands asthma, as i explained previously in my feedback to you, is MUCH more likely to have been triggered by his own choices : toxic petroleum derived deodorants (smelt by myself and specifically requested NOT to be used in our house, plus the artificial/low quality drinks and foods consumed whilst at our house . Yes, his attack would decrease as you left house as foodstuffs eaten are processed by his body and his mediation kicks in fully, and he can't breath soil dust from the country - Also pollens / dust have been stronger ACROSS VICTORIA recently . (Website hidden by Airbnb) I am an experience First Aider , qualified in Asthma / Anaphylaxis response, have cured myself of pollen allergy and shown many volunteer guests and yoga event participants how to deal with pollen/dust/mite allergy using product avoidance and Neti. Your husband needs to take responsibility for his own health and stop blaming others AND NOTIFY hosts of any allergies well in ADVANCE. Hosts need time to have the right to refuse people who are unsuitable. 3. Photo accuracy: did you actually look at all the photos in our pages ? Photos in all websites make spaces look bigger - that is photography's nature ! The headline photo shows simpler version of ground floor - full detail is in other photos ! Sheets and decor alter - thats normal.

We found Dom's home to be comfortable and interesting and we especially appreciated the established organic garden that the room looked out into. The area was very quiet and the bed was great for a good night's sleep. The mud brick construction of the house and the efforts to be …

It is not far from Wilson's Prom National Park, the house is rather simple which is OK. Dom was very good with his communication. My problem was related to the cleaning (the bathroom had hair everywhere, the kitchen was a little dirty with some dishes on the sink and there were n…

Our place WAS indeed clean, we take pride in that. Any hairs in bathroom were very recently put there by other quests who were staying AT THE SAME TIME ! This is normal for homestays Julio - you will need to get used to this. Or use a Hotel. The kitchen has a garden in it and was used by a family staying in another section of property - hence not sterile clean ! Sustainable living means clean not sterile. A cup has a stain - choose another ! We are not a five star hotel - never claimed to be. . .. I believe there were indeed clean bath towels left out for both Julio and friend - perhaps they did not see them ? He could have asked my assistants (or me by phone) for location of towels if he could not find them rather than complaining on Airb needlessly. i went out of my way to accommodate Julio and his friend in spare rooms - they then left me with a broken blind which was not paid for, with no apology. And they still owe 35$ for using a extra bed. We remain the best value for money in this coastal area (and most others). Julio is quite delusional if he thinks 50$ per night is expensive ! Even double that for homestay accom. is normal.

I have lived and breathed sustainable living since I was 22 though the journey began when I was 11. Permaculture site design , organic management , home based innovation, people empowerment, yoga. In 1999, Therese (my Mother R.I.P. ) and myself began the realisation of an affo…
