Modren Baja is a one of a kind house in San Jose Del Cabo. It’s modern, minimal character is unique to this area. Perfect indoor/ outdoor living with spacious area to relax by the pool.

Each bedroom has a separate entrance. The guest bedroom can be accessed by not even coming through the house. Above the guest bedroom is a generous additional patio that has wonderful views of the ocean and the sun setting behind the mountains. A perfect place for to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day or coffee in the morning. This area can be your private patio.

The kitchen is very open and perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinners. There is also a gas BBQ that you have access to.

Plenty of parking and easy private access to your room. Come and enjoy this house!

Distance to (driving/depending on traffic):
Airport: 15 minutes
Cabo San Lucas: 15 minutes
San Jose del Cabo: 8 minutes

Perfectly perched on top of a hill above the famous Zippers Beach ( less than a kilometer away) for surfing or walks on the beach. Less than 5 minutes away from historical art district where you have art galleries and many great restaurants ..local food, tamales on the square or fine dining. You can enjoy the famous Art Walks on Thursday nights where you can wonder around the art district and view the art galleries while sipping some local tequila that the galleries offer, or a glass of wine. Wander around and finish the evening off with a great meal.

A close drive the the beaches on the East Cape on the Sea of Cortez where you will find miles of white sand and empty beaches.

A 15 minute drive to San Lucas where you can experience a different kind of Baja. It’s a bit more touristy but nice for a visit .If you go past San Lucas and up the Pacific side of Baja you will come to Todo Santos, a small community with beautiful organic farms and surf beaches.

Swimming on Pamilla Beach is open to a public only 2 minute drive away!

Patrick is my property manager and guest concierge, he will be the meet and great for you during your stay. I (Margaux) originally grew up in Canada but left for New York and LA to a career in the film business. I traveled the world producing commercials and then began working on feature films. I owned my own company in LA creating visual effects for feature films for 10 years and worked with many well known actors and directors (I have many DVD’s of great movies). I also spent much time in Vancouver doing film projects and building houses.

I came to San Jose del Cabo about 2 and a half years ago and started to get into real estate here. I built and designed Casa Margaux with 2 architects from Vancouver.

I am easy to get along with and enjoy meeting people who are travelers seeking to find the great wonders of the world.

Baja has much to offer. I will be happy to help you decide what to do with your time here while you enjoy the house.

The Terraces of Costa Azul are within walking distances to three famous Costa Azul Surf Breaks (Zippers, The Rock & Old Man's).

I highly recommend renting a car. Public transportation is a short 5min walk away with bus stops and taxis available.

The area has a few outdoor cats that roam the neighbourhood, they frequent this place and the neighbours house. Totally tame and nice, just some furry vagabonds.

Welcome to Modern Baja
1. As a rule we consider checking out at 11:00 AM, but we will be flexible with the time if we do not receive guests on the same day.
2. It is expected to deliver the property in the same condition as received.
3. Guests are liable for any damage or loss that occurs while in Modern Baja.
4. You will be given a set of keys & an electronic security remote to external doors, if any loss please report it immediately to your concierge to be replaced. And there will be a charge of $85usd for the replacement.
5. Our neighbourhood is pretty quiet, so it is recommended to be considerate of the neighbours, especially after 23:00 hrs.
6. Visitors are allowed and it is the responsibility of the guests.
7. Smoking is permitted on the outside, there is a nice terrace for that.
8. In case of violation of any rule or conduct off Mexican law, Modern Baja has the right to suspend services and ask the guest(s) to leave the property.
9. 21+ is the recommended aged for reservations.
10. This property is listed FOR SALE, a showing may be requested with 24 hours notice.

Hi I am Patrick,

I am a Canadian ex-pat living who's been living here in Los Cabos for the past 13 years. I have been working in the hospitality and tourism industry since I was a teenager and I am now the Director of Property Management and Chief Concierge at Hansen Luxury Estates.

Apart from this I am a schooled & certified Chef, I love to be around food. Before having children I travelled a lot, heck I still travel a lot even with them but, just a bit more selective. I have traveled extensively in Canada, U.S.A., Mexico, The Caribbean, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia. Most of our trips are on the longer side as I have a few months of vacation a year.

After work hours I will be at the beach or hiking in the mountains since I can't play hockey here.
