Guests seem to love the location, views (32nd floor), and cleanliness. It's in the heart of the city (River North) and in the middle of the best restaurants, nightlife, and tourists attractions. It's also close to many convention centers and if it isn't, every train line in the city is within two blocks.
You'll also have your own bathroom, use of the kitchen, your own shelf in the fridge, and access to a gym.

The space is ideal for business travelers and tourists alike. It is just north of the loop (business district), right in the middle of all the latest bars and restaurants, walking distance to all of Chicago's major tourist attractions, and no more than a few blocks from every train line ("el") in the city.

You will get your own copy of the key as well as a key fob (to access the gym, pool, and front entrance if doorman not present). Freshly laundered bed and bath linens provided.

There is a lockbox on the door frame that has an attached key inside you can use to get in. Please ask for code if I don't provide. Also please leave key attached to lockbox--your key will be inside the unit on the glass end table at end of kitchen to left of door as you enter.
To re-attach lockbox face just re-enter code, put bottom back in place, push top lever down, and rock back into place. You can gew-gle "supra pushbutton lockbox instructions" if you need more help.
Once inside, you have access to everything but master bed and bath. I leave the bottom shelf of the fridge open for guest use. The building has a gym (two separate rooms), pool, grilling area on the 14th floor you can access with your key fob.
The door automatically locks so you don't need to lock it behind you.

I am friendly but will leave you be unless you have questions. I have had guests that I have never seen. It will probably feel more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast.

You are welcome to keep your bags in the apartment before check-in or after check-out the day you arrive or depart. Just leave them in the living room by the door.
The unit is in a high-rise so if the door person stops you just let them know you're a friend of mine and I will have them let you up. If I'm not home I will give you the lockbox code to get the key to the front door.
Most of the lights have dimmer switches, which means there is a tiny slider next to the switch. If your lights are too dim, just slide it up.
The door to the unit automatically locks so you only need to shut the door.

Please put your luggage on the provided luggage racks to prevent spread of bed bugs that may have attached themselves to your bags. Apparently they are everywhere, impossible to get rid of, and won't travel down luggage racks.
Please don't make too much noise after 10:30 pm.
Please leave your shoes by the door.
NO SMOKING cigarettes inside. You can smoke on the balcony but please dispose of all cigarette butts.
If you spill, I have things you can use to clean up. It's not a big deal. If I find it after you leave obviously I will have to charge. Please just be upfront so we can try to fix the problem together.
Lost key is $25, lost fob is $50; I have to pay to get new ones so I'm not making money.

I run my own real estate development company and buy and build property in the city. I love living in Chicago, particularly my neighborhood, and look forward to letting others experience it.
I try to keep a pretty regular schedule that has me up every day at 7 am and in bed by 10:30 or so.
I try to give guests their space, and I can be pretty introverted if I'm busy with work, so if I don't interact much it's me, not you! I'm happy to answer any questions about the city or anything that's not in the itinerary.
