It is a very small space but it works great as a crash pad :)

The walk in closet needs a touch up paint job around the frame so don't book it if that's going to bother you lol

The place is all yours :)
Please take care of it. There is no hotel staff to come and clean up after you! LOL it's just me :-)

Everything you could need is steps from the door. Treasure Island grocery store, CVS, tons of restaurants, Washington Square Park, Dave & Busters, and a short walk to Second City!

Here are some examples of proximity to some of the favorite tourist spots…

Water Tower:
13 minute walk
7 minute taxi/Uber
11 minute bus ride (3 minute walk to Division/Clark then take #36 towards LaSalle Metra, 3 minute bus ride, 5 minute walk to Water Tower)

Magnificent Mile Shopping:
15 minute walk
11 minute el ride
13 minute bus ride on #36

Portillos:
13 minute walk
8 minute bus on #22 bus straight down Clark street!
3 minute taxi/Uber

Giordano's:
13 minute walk
8 minute el ride (one stop away, 1 minute walk to train, 3 minute ride, 4 minute walk to restaurant)
4 minute taxi/Uber

Second City Theater:
12 minute walk
6 minute bus ride on #156 LaSalle St bus (1 minute to bus, 3 minute ride, 2 minute walk to theater)

2 minute walk to the Clark/Division red line. 1
Second from LaSalle & Wells Street buses. The red line will take you to the heart of downtown and Wrigley Field in less than 5 minutes (once you're in the train) or walk downtown in 10. LaSalle St bus will take you Lincoln Park Zoo in 5 minutes. Or walk there in 8.

PARKING
On weekends the main street, LaSalle, has no parking restrictions, so it is free and you will have no problems.

On weekdays, each side of that street has restrictions during opposite rush hours (so you'd move your car from one side to the other twice a day lol). But there are options for free parking on the SIDE streets if you're willing to drive around and be patient. You can usually find a free unrestricted spot if you're patient on the following streets: Elm, Wells, Hill, Orleans.

Paid options: SpotHero (download the app and guarantee yourself a spot), or there's a parking lot directly across the street you can pay for.

It is actually possible to park for free here!
You can get $15/day guest passes from the building next door, which I believe are indoor spots.

Another option a lot of people do: park you car a couple of el stops away and take the redline to the apartment because it's so close to the train its not that bad. This works especially well if you don't actually plan on using your car while you're here.

Elizabeth was great; super responsive via text and really helpful when we had questions. She even let us check into the room early because our flight arrived so early in the morning. The apartment is pretty small (just one room), and the bathroom is even smaller. BUT! We fit four people in the space comfortably, and the room was very clean and cozy. And the location was unbeatable! Super convenient for catching the trains around town, and the neighborhood felt very safe. We were able to walk to many great local restaurants and bars. Bottom line: We would absolutely stay here again. Great price and location. Just be prepared to share a small space with your friends.

Elizabeth went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. She was very accomodating to last minute requests and very responsive to any questions we had. She was fantastic. A plus was how close the subways were to the apartment but we did get approached by homeless people every time we left the apartment. Other than that, it was a great stay! Thanks Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is super accommodating, we had an early flight so she allowed me to pay for a half day, that way we could check in earlier and she also allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment on the day we were leaving since our flight was late at night. She was quick to reply to all my messages and checked us in when we arrived. Before she approved my reservation she clearly did make sure to let me know that the place is small, which I greatly appreciate. The place is more of a crash pad, if your looking for something more, this might not be the right place but if you just need a place to store your belongings and sleep then this place is great to book with. The location is close to everything making the commute easy. And the neighborhood is safe, we walked to resturants that were 10 minutes away at night and felt safe; lots of people walking around as well. I would definitely recommend booking with Elizabeth!

I am a comedian who moved here from Seattle a couple years ago.
In Seattle I was actually a dog trainer and fitness boot camp instructor, and a comedian on the side-- so I decided to flip that script! I have a small well behaved dog (12 lbs) and I love to laugh!
