Enjoy one of Cape Cod's most enchanting communities in the lower Cape. Located on Rte 28 in S. Harwich. This 1806 cape is near Chatham, short walk to beaches, eateries, bike trail and nearby golf, baseball, and conservation walks. Short drive to beaches, Museums, sports, biking and walking trails and restaurants. Busy road.
This historic building is one of the oldest in the area and prior to becoming a guest house it was my antique shop. I love antiques and space is furnished with eclectic combination of old and newer furnishings.
Old Cape Retreat is located on a busy road. It's on the first floor of a 2-story building with a private entrance from porch. Upstairs "Your Cape Escape" has a separate entry. I have a small office located behind the living room on the street side of the apartment where I work from time to time. It has a separate entry and is completely locked off from guest quarters. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds around the property, including seasonal gardens and a backyard lily pond.
