This beautiful close-to-town location features a sunny, spacious, well-kept, historic farmhouse situated on 175 acres of pristine, working farmland on the New Haven River. We welcome guests to experience farm life at its best! Choose from one of 3 comfortable rooms in our home and join us for a farm fresh breakfast. There are woods and fields to explore and a pebble beach perfect for a dip in the river during the summer months. In the winter, take a cross country ski then cozy up by the fire.
We have 3 rooms listed (look for the others in case this one's booked!). Each room can sleep up to 3 guests for an additional fee when given advanced notice (we'll set up a twin bed along with the queen bed). Our home is large and comfortable with views of the river and fields.
We have a separate guest living room, some light use of the kitchen is fine by us (storing some things in the fridge, making tea etc.), just check in with us about fixing meals. Bathroom is shared except room 4, which has a private bath.

During the week, we're pretty busy, but we'll do our best to get you situated and show you around. On weekends we offer a family style breakfast, optional yoga classes, seasonal U-Pick, and arranged visits to our chickens and bees or sleigh rides in the winter! Cross country ski trails will be available in the winter, pending weather. Weekdays, breakfast is continental, mostly self serve. We will provide information about the area and can sometime give farm tours.

If you are thinking about bringing a pet, please ask ahead of time. We are only able to welcome pets on a case by case basis and ask a $200 pet deposit fee. Also, we require dogs to be on leash at all times unless they are in the designated hiking areas away from our vegetable plots and chickens.
We wake early to tend to our animals and our fields and expect folks to be relatively subdued after 10pm. Check in before 8pm is preferred. Smoking in the house or on the grounds is prohibited.
