Situated the Chamonix side of the village of Les Houches, this delightful chalet provides a tranquil retreat while being conveniently located near all the local amenities, 5 minutes drive from the ski slopes and with direct access to hiking trails.
The chalet is on a quiet cul-de-sac off the main road through Les Houches.
The newly decorated 120m2 chalet surrounded by a pretty garden with spectacular views of the Mont Blanc range, provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountain tranquility, while at the same time being extremely conveniently located: it's a couple of minutes away from the exit off the Geneva-Chamonix motorway; a 1 hour drive from Geneva airport; 10 minute drive to Chamonix town centre and ski lifts; 5 minutes to Les Houches village centre and ski slopes. And is within walking distance to a well stocked supermarket (350 metres/ 5 minute walk). There is also a bus stop less than 3 mins walk away with a free bus service Les Houches and the Chamonix valley.
The chalet is on two floors, built with plenty of open space and allowing maximum sunlight for brightness and warmth.
The lower floor comprises the entrance hall with inset cupboard (handy for large coats and boots); the kitchen; dining room/living space; 1 double bedroom; 1 bathroom and separate toilet.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all the cooking and kitchenware needed to cater for meals for 8 or more guests.
The dining room has a large welcoming reclaimed wood table, seating up to 8 people. It is surrounded by large windows looking out onto the Mont Blanc range and sliding doors leading out onto the garden decking.
It adjoins the living area which includes a large sofa bed and comfy armchairs around the log burning fireplace. The lower floor has underfloor heating throughout.
The lower floor bedroom looks onto the garden, and includes a king sized bed.
Next to it is the bathroom (with shower and wash basin). And the separate toilet.
On the upper floor:
Is the 2nd double bedroom. With a super king sized bed, en suite bathroom (including bath, overhead shower, wash basin and toilet), the large walk-in wardrobe and french windows leading onto the balcony surrounding the house with spectacular views of the mountains to wake up to.
Across the landing is a mezzanine looking over the living room. It has been converted into a kids sleeping area with 2 extendible beds. Note: the mezzanine is under the sloping roof, so it's fine for small children, but adults beware of the wooden beam! The mezzanine area can also be used as a comfy lounge area with cosy seating.
The house provides plenty of additional space with its has a large garage and cellar, useful for storing skis, bikes and other sports equipment. The cellar includes a washing machine/dryer, the ironing board and iron, and shelves for kitchen supplies. The garage and driveway has enough parking space for 2/3 cars.
The outdoor area is provided with a set of garden furniture, a plancha gas BBQ and wooden playhouse with slide; ideal for summer days.
Guests have exclusive use of the whole property, including garage, cellar/utility room and garden.With the exception of one small annex separate from the garage which will remain locked for the owner's personal storage.

A full welcome pack is provided with information about the house; copies of manuals of the various electrical items; and plenty of brochures to help you make the most of your holiday in Les Houches.

On arrival we require a cash payment for the deposit of guarantee of €1000 which will be returned on departure after the property is checked. We ask that you report any damage or breakages.
No smoking inside.
No pets, unless agreement given.
Wet boots and dirty shoes should be kept in the trays by the door or in the covered walkway outside.
At the end of your stay the bins/recycling must be emptied, and brought to the refuse collection units at the main road.
The fridge should be cleared of half eaten food and dishes washed.
