Ginny's place was quaint and decorated true to period. It was perfect, on a beautiful farm. The beds were comfortable and place was clean. The bathroom had great water pressure. Ginny was always available and responsive. She is an outstanding host and excellent communicator…

Beautiful setting. Wake up to deer walking across a gorgeous Texas pasture. This is a darling historic cabin. The beds were comfortable and the shower water was hot with good pressure. The cabin could use some updating IMO. It is very quiet and secluded which was a plus for us…

Natalie, I am so sorry that the house was dusty and the bathroom not cleaned as it should have4 been. I did not supervise the lady this time (who always cleans it, and I have not seen a time when she didn't hit it all very well....I cannot imagine the linens not beeing clean and fresh. She strips and washes all bed linens and towels, (although she doesn't iron the sheets, so they have been wrinkled, thus appearing not newly made up, but I can assure you they were that morning. The only thing I can think is that with the rain and flooding she might have worked very fast and not done her normal job. I really am upset because her job reflects on me. I can assure you I will follow up with her and tell her I expect each time to be her best. We had back to back renters, but she was to have thoroughly cleaned the house before each new guests arrival. The rain leak was a first...well, it happened once about 10 years ago, but it was a result of the same kind of torrential rain blowing in almost horizontally from the northwest. (It leaked in our home, (Website hidden by Airbnb) our bedroom having blown under the roof from the nw as well.) You all were so very kind to have removed the bathroom mirror and left it on the table. I don't know how you managed it because I had to get help lifting it back up to rehang. Well, I do appreciate so much your honest feedback for me. I will certainly check it every time, next time, to make sure things are as I expect them to be. By the way, I guess I need to be "updated", too; what does IMO stand for? I am pretty new to this gig...never intended to do it, but our grown daughters suggested we do it; it's always just been family digs before, but they are in California and New York, so they don't get to use it as a guest house very often any more.

My group decided that to stay at Ollie House is to enter into an Andrew Wyeth picture -- impossibly beautiful rural vistas from an impossibly quaint historic farmhouse. As if this were not enough, our wonderful hostess, Ginny provided a wealth of information about local attractio…

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ollie house. It was exactly what we were looking for . A beautiful farmhouse on a bucolic setting. We loved waking up to the rooster and beautiful sunrise. Ginny was so hospitable and we hoping to stay there again.
