The Lodges on Vashon feature 16 freestanding, one and two-bedroom lodges and two communal spaces. Each contemporary lodge features a king-size bed, gas fireplace, flat-panel television, high-speed Internet and modern bathroom fixtures.
Policies and Regulations:
Pre-stay site visits: we welcome you to visit The Lodges to tour, measure, photograph, and create the plan for your event. All visits need to be coordinated with our on site staff so we can ensure that site visits don’t interfere with other group who have exclusive use of the property. We don’t allow any tours or site visits during group buyouts. Viewing Lodge interiors is subject to availability - we do not show occupied rooms, or rooms that have not been cleaned and inspected.
Please leave our property in the condition you found it - just as we want your group to enjoy a clean, functional, and relaxing space, we want our next guests to enjoy the same spaces.
When you are done using our Communal spaces, please lock all doors, turn off lights, turn off the TV and stereo, extinguish fires, and turn off the fireplace, and the grill.
With a full buyout of the property, access to the grounds and any Communal Spaces (Public House & Pavilion) begins at 10am on the day of check in. If your group is doing a partial rental of the Lodges, and renting out our Communal Space (s), your access to the Communal Spaces begins at check in time: 3pm, unless otherwise agreed to, in writing, by the Manager, or Owner(s), or it is specified in your contract.
Check in time for the Lodges is 3pm. We cannot guarantee, or offer early check in for individuals or groups. Check out time is 11am. We cannot guarantee, or offer late check out for individuals groups.
We have quiet hours at The Lodges from 10 pm-10 am. No loud music, or loud talk or noise of any kind is permitted during our quiet hours, out of respect for our neighbors, and other guests. If staff or the police are required to quiet your group, or group members, after 10 pm, the fine is $150, per occurrence.
All tables, chairs, tents, decorations, food trucks, or any equipment from your gathering need to be cleared from the property by 11 am on the day of check out, unless expressly agreed to in writing by the Manager, or Owner(s) of The Lodges. If your items are not removed, we will charge full price of renting the spaces they occupy ($750 for the Pavilion, $500 for the Public House, $250 for the Cottage, in addition to staff time (@ $50 an hour, per person) to remove the items. We do not have storage on-site, and cannot hold your property or rental items for you.
Any furniture or equipment that are moved outside of the Lodges, The Pavilion, The Public House, or the Cottage needs to be replaced before 10pm, and immediately if it is wet, raining, snowing, or there are any weather conditions present that could damage the furniture, or elements. Failure to do so will result in either paying for our staff to move it (if available, at $50 per hour, per staff member), or being charged for any and all damage to, or replacement of, the furniture or equipment.
There is no smoking in the Lodges, the Public House, the Pavilion, The Cottage, or on the property of The Lodges on Vashon, or Vashon Village. Smokers need to be entirely off the property, or fees will be assessed. Smoking on the property will result in a $150 charge, smoking in the Lodges, or the Public House will result in a $250 charge.
Some of our rooms are pet friendly - if you or your guests are bringing pets, we need to place them in a pet room. An additional pet cleaning fee ($25 for 1-3 days, $50 for more than 3 days, and a $200 cleaning free for pets in non-pet rooms) will be applied, and you will be charged for any pet damages.
The gas fireplace in the Pavilion is for viewing, not for cooking. If you want to roast marshmallows, hot dogs, or any cook other food, you can use the wood fire pits, the microwave, or the grill provided.
If furniture, structures, equipment, or appliances are damaged or broken, the group owner is responsible for their repair or replacement.
Do not unplug any appliance on our property, unless you believe it is a safety hazard. If you find something you believe is unsafe, please call our on-site guest line, at .
All trash and recycling generated by your group needs to be moved to the trash and recycling area.
Please pick up trash from the grounds and parking lot, or we will have to charge you for our staff to clean the grounds.
