Amber Cottage is a holiday rental with a difference. We are conscious of the environment and try to live a healthy toxin free life, and we think that others might too, so we have set up our property with that in mind for our guests.

Amber Cottage is cleaned and maintained using organic and/or earth friendly products. All of the linen in the house is washed using organic and/or earth friendly products. The house is painted internally with organic paint and the property has a Ventis air circulation system to continuously clean the air in the house. We supply organic and/or environmentally friendly pantry and cleaning items for you to use wherever possible.

Recently re-decorated, painted and furnished, Amber Cottage is an as new 4 bedroom cottage, 2.7km to Bowral town centre. Its functional layout and furnishings are spiced up with thoughtful inclusions and finishing touches to make your stay most memorable. Plenty of warm throws and hot water bottles plus a great covered outdoor entertaining area for you to enjoy. There is also an outdoor fire pit so don't forget the marshmallows!

•This property is pet friendly there is a $100 surcharge to have your pet stay – please declare at time of booking and refer to our terms and conditions regarding pets
•This property will consider bookings for "schoolies". However, these bookings can only be made by contacting HRS directly - a comprehensive guest registration form must be completed prior to confirmation and a $2000 cash bond is payable 7 days prior to the stay.
•For your added security, this property is managed by Holiday Rental Specialists – a Licenced Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.
•Wi-Fi is not guaranteed. This is a service offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge for this service we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable.

I booked this place for family to stay and they reported a great house, modern, clean and well equipped. Thanks for offering us this place when the first house we booked became unavailable.

The Amber Cottage would be nice for a small group of friends or a family looking for a quiet stay in Bowral. Its clean and conveniently located if you have a car. Worth noting: the "not guaranteed wifi" really equals "totally not working". We had to tether from mobile phones the whole time - and perhaps "wifi" ought be removed from the amenities list.

Hi Dylan, We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Amber Cottage. We agree, it is fastidiously cleaned and very conveniently located - a short drive to Bowral town centre. We haven't previously had issues with the Wi-Fi - how odd.. We have sent you a private message for clarification as we weren't made aware of issues during your stay and would certainly have had it fixed if we were.

We visited for a girls weekend and it had everything we needed. The place was clean and very comfortable. We had a little mix up with the booking when we first arrived but the owner was there within five minutes to tidy the place and change the sheets. Mistakes happen and because it was dealt with so well it didn't deter from our time away at all. The kitchen is fantastic, the bathrooms roomy and spotless, lounge room comfortable and cosy. The house is close to the town centre which made getting around easy. I' d recommend this house place to anybody. The best part is.. The hot water bottles on every bed.

Beautiful house! So warm and lovely to stay in. The cottage was extremely clean, very spacious, and so welcoming. Everything we needed in a cosy house was available. Would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Amazing place! Beautiful quiet location. The house is extremely spacious but still cosy. There is a great little fire place out the back yard. Would love to stay here again

The house was beautiful, with more than enough space for our family and partners. There was a lovely bottle of red wine and chocolates waiting for us. Rebecca was great and assisted with an earlier check in. We will definitely be back.

We are new to the Airbnb site. We were unaware this was a public holiday until after the reservation confirmed, which we have a 4 night minimum. Guests were very understanding and polite. Have contacted Airbnb help line and assist us further with improving our calendars.
