Descrizione

Behind shady entrance, renovated apartment in old building. High ceilings. Living with armchairs. Dinning room. 1st bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bathtub. 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom with shower. Kitchen with breakfast bar. Patio and BBQ.

Apartment in an old building. Very Sunny, high ceilings, wooden floors, original wooden doors, old tiles in kitchen and main bathroom.
Comfortable living and dinning room. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. The main with a double. Access to the second bedroom from external corridor with 2 single beds. Each bedroom has its private bathroom. The apartment has patio. It's only 5 blocks from the center of San Telmo. It's safe because it's in the middle of an area populated by local people. The building has a lot of long-standing tenants, many of whom are original inhabitants of the city. Special local flavor! A place to stay for a moderate price! If you want authentic atmosphere rather than an antiseptic hotel, then this is what we offer.

I live in San Telmo, dance in San Telmo, work in the neighborhood too!
You will see me around!
You have to know that TANGO IS MY PASSION: come and share it with me.
(If you become adictive, is not my fault .. JAJAJA)

San Telmo is one of the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, preserving old buildings and street layouts famous for their charm. It is an area of cafés, antique shops, cobblestone alleys, filled on weekends with artists and dancers, and many tourists.
The apartment is very close to several public transportation and within a walking distance to many to many touristic attractions like Casa Rosada, Avenida de Mayo, Puerto Madero or the nearby parks!
It is really very safe: a walk alone during the nights returning from Milongas where I dance tango.

Bus:
The urban bus is commonly known as 'Colectivos' or sometimes 'Bondis' in slang. The service is very frequent -you will rarely have to wait more than five minutes during the day. The bus system is a service with 'stops' (a place where passengers are waiting to take a bus) spread on the streets with a distance 400 meters among each one of them. Before you even think of boarding a bus, you will need to make sure you have coins ('Monedas') for your journey. Banknotes are not accepted. Introducing coins into the machine, you get a ticket to travel. There is a prepaid card named SUBE, that works with every city bus or metro. If you are visiting Buenos Aires for a week or more, you should definitely purchase a Guia T. For sale at most news stands and often on the subway, the Guia T is a little pocket-sized book providing detailed maps of city streets and outlines how to get around by bus.

By Subway:
The 'Subte' (as it's called in BUENOS AIRES) or Metro, is the faster and more frequent (every 5 minutes), though it can be very crowded during morning and evening peak hours. The service runs from 5am to 10pm (8am to 10pm on Sundays). The ticket is electro-magnetic and it's dispensed in the same station. Large parts of the city are not served by the network, including some important tourist areas such as Recoleta and Palermo Viejo.

By Taxi:
Taxis in Buenos Aires are reasonable priced and plentiful (except in rainy rush hours). Taxis are easy to identify because they are painted yellow and black (roof), and they are circulating in thousands through BUENOS AIRES. To take a taxi can be done from anywhere in the city, making signs to the driver or the Radio Taxi ( To request a taxi by phone ), it's the safer service to travel on taxi . Currently are circulating over 40,000 taxis by BUENOS AIRES

If you want authentic atmosphere rather than an antiseptic hotel then this is what we offer.

"Decepcionante". Does not look like the photos. This was by far the worst of the 3 Airbnbs I stayed in when I was in Argentina. The kitchen and bathrooms were dirty, and the toilet in the second bathroom leaked all over the floor. There were hardly any supplies left for us – 1 roll of toilet paper and no cleaning supplies for the kitchen. The couch cover - which looks bright white in the photo - was filthy. The neighbours were noisy. I would not recommend this apartment. It was described as being renovated but I think all that was done was adding a few colorful throw pillows. It was an incredible disappointment at the end of our trip.
