Seven Springs is a historic estate built around 1725 located just 40 minutes north east of Richmond. It sits among 107 beautifully manicured acres. Enjoy a unique Colonial setting, but with all the amenities of a modern home.
Although Seven Springs is a historic home, it has been decorated with modern and comfortable furnishings for you to enjoy. There are plenty of bathrooms, multiple kitchens and unique gathering areas for the entire family.
The historic main house consists of a formal living room, small study and dining room on the first floor. The second floor has one master bedroom with a queen bed and two smaller bedrooms with double beds that share a bath. In the basement there is a historic tavern area with a full bath and small kitchen with a sink, stove and small fridge. There is also a dart board and board games.
There is a modern cottage addition off the back of the main house connected by a light filled breezeway. The first floor has a large galley style kitchen with double ovens, large fridge and separate freezer, instant hot water tap, dishwasher and stove. There is a sitting room with a working fire place and off the kitchen there is a beautiful brick patio with bistro lighting. Upstairs there is one master bedroom with a queen bed and with two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a tub. The basement has a large screen tv and plenty of seating, including a full size sleep sofa.
There is a guest house just across the patio that has a kitchen, small sitting area, 3 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, and two full bathrooms. Basement bedroom has a queen bed and the other two bedrooms have two double beds in each one. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, and fridge.
Enjoy the beautiful grounds with a hike or bring your bikes for a short ride around the property or a long ride down a country road. Visit with our animals. We have sheep, turkey, chickens, pigs and goats and an heirloom vegetable garden to pick produce from.
You will have full access to the historic manor house, modern cottage addition, guest house, and the grounds. You will not have access to the animal barn and pasture without supervision.

Someone will be available to answer any questions you may have during your stay, however we will not be on site around the clock. You may encounter one of us tending to the farm, maintaining the grounds, or working in the office in our facilities management building. We are also an event venue for weddings and private parties, but these will not be scheduled during your stay.
Altre cose da evidenziare
There is no internet. Verizon cell service works well if you have it. Bring a jet pack or hot spot if you desire internet.
We have various animals on site as well as a dog. They are in a fenced in area away from the house and can only be faintly heard.
We are in the country. This means there are bees, snakes, lizards, poison ivy, poison oak, ticks, and other creatures you would probably rather not encounter. Come prepared with any particular clothing or medicines you may require.
Seven Springs is unique piece of American history. Please make yourself at home and enjoy the surroundings, but please be respectful in order to maintain the property for future generations. There are to be no open flames on site except in designated areas. There is one designated fireplace that can be used and a fire pit. There is to be no smoking indoors and if smoking outdoors please dispose of butts in the trash. No pets are allowed in any of the buildings. Please do not enter the fence to interact with the animals. A guided tour of the farm can be scheduled if desired.

I'm from Richmond, VA. I went to college at Va Tech. I enjoy cooking, boating, soccer, basketball, traveling, festivals, anything food related and just overall enjoying all the things life has to offer. I'm not one for sitting still for too long. I work with my father and brother and we own a commercial general contracting firm. One day I hope to retire and move somewhere tropical.
