My friend and I had a very pleasant stay at Arina's place. The house is spacious and tidy. The internet worked well and appliances were in good condition. Her kitchen was also well equipped, which was nice because we mostly cooked out own meals (no microwave, though). The TC also came with Netflix, which was nice after a long day of hiking.
The house is in the Nuussuaq neighborhood, which doesn't seem to have much going on of interest to travelers, though it is right across the street from a small supermarket. The bus stop is right by her house, and the trip to the center of Nuuk took about 25 minutes on the bus, and returning about 10 minutes (the buses run in a loop). Usually I like staying in the center of town, but this really was not a bad commute. It's also close to the airport.
There was one mishap when we first arrived. Arina was travelling in Europe, and the neighbors who she left the keys with were not home. But when we got ahold of Arina by phone, she was responsive and arranged for us to stay in a hostel for the first night. So, it all worked out. I would just make sure to get the phone number of whoever is in charge of handing over the keys :)
All in all, we had a great stay and I would certainly book Arina's place again if I end up returning to Nuuk!
