Perched atop a hidden drive in the middle of the city, Adventure Mountain is the highest point in downtown Marquette. This partially off-grid compound is rustic and glampy with a focus on sustainability and preserving natural resources. Unique.
Adventure Mountain sits atop an unpaved road (essentially a private drive) in the middle of the city. The property is surrounded by lush green space frequented by deer, birds and bunnies. The property is partially off-grid. A great place for couples or groups of friends to gather. If you are searching for something off the beaten path, you may have found it.
Guests will have the studio to themselves, unless you request aerial lessons. Experienced aerialists may use the indoor & outdoor aerial rigs with permission + waiver of liability. During your stay there may be aerial students practicing on our outdoor aerial rig on the tiny mountain.

I share the kitchen with guests during the day while working in my shedquarters on an adjacent lot.
Altre cose da evidenziare
Adventure Mountain conserves water with a Sun~Mar composting toilet. The potty is easy to use and maintain, and there are simple instructions posted. More info here: (URL HIDDEN) Heavy rain leads to muddy conditions on the road and parking area.
No smoking inside the house or studio.
I purchased Adventure Mountain (which was named by a previous owner of the property) in July of 2014 and began hosting on AirBnB one year later. The two bedroom home has a newer addition I have renovated/rebuilt to house a small aerial dance studio where I teach aerial silks, lyra and yoga classes to teenagers and adults.
As your host, I will make sure you have everything you need like directions, instructions for using the property, fresh towels and coffee. I sometimes book singles and couples to share the 2 bedroom house with me during the week. I tend to let my guest lead on whether/how much time they'd like to spend together. Sometimes it's just chatting over coffee about restaurants/hikes/etc. or sometimes we get takeout and drink wine. On weekends I am away and I allow larger groups to have the space all to themselves.
My goal for hosting on AirBnB is to provide an accurate description of the accommodations and charge a fair price that will allow me to continue making improvements to the property.
