Set in the heart of Sheung Wan area, across from the Sun Yet Sen Memorial Park & swimming pool both looking out over the world famous Victoria Harbor.New eateries & galleries are rejuvenating the traditional neighbourhood showcasing the new&old of HK
This cozy apartment comfortably accommodates a single traveler or a couple visiting Hong Kong. It has a full bathroom that has an enclosed shower with water heater. It has an open kitchen with electric cooker and microwave oven. One comfortable real bed (Not a futon or pullout sofa) that sleeps up to a couple. A wall mounted TV with DVD player and solid wireless internet access. But the best thing about this apartment is it's location. It is close to all sorts of transportation that take you to everywhere you would want to go to in Hong Kong. Located on the West side of Hong Kong in the Sheung Wan district, it is 5 minutes walking distance from the Sheung Wan MTR Station and 5 minutes from the foreign friendly district Soho (South of Hollywood Rd). It is only a few stops away from the Central MTR station on the Tram or bus and the neighborhood is super safe and friendly. Also, there is a 7 Eleven convenient store and a Laundry Place right around the corner.
**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.

The Sheung Wan neighbourhood is ever changing and a fantastic mix of "old' and "new" Hong Kong. This apartment is located in the heart of Hong Kong's commercial, cultural and shopping districts and within short walking distance to the subway and HK Macau Ferry Pier. A few minutes walk away from the harbour front and the fantastic Sun Yat Sun Memorial Park and Public swimming pool over look the world famous Victoria Harbor.
The Sheung Wan MTR station is but 8 min walking distance away that takes you all over Hong Kong and Kowloon. There are also buses, trams, minibuses that run near the doorstep of the building on Des Voeux Road West Road and take you to every corner of the island and beyond.
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.

The apt. was exactly as described and all was ok. The hosts are very friendly and we had some good days in HK. Thank you for all.
My wife and I stayed here for over 2 weeks. Brendan is a very attentive and responsive host. The pictures adequately represents the space and the neighborhood is perfectly located, the tram is a few steps away, there is a 7-11 nearby and you are a few minutes away from Central. Above all the apartment is perfectly priced, clean and comfortable to sleep in. Highly recommended if staying in HK.
Despite everything below, the rental is solid.
I would describe the experience as camping in a trailer. Very tight, I would say about a small to mid-size airstream. We brought two sets of Samsonite 2 piece luggage (1 carry on, 1 full size) and it was a daily game of shuffling to move around. At night we needed to stack the luggage to comfortably move around, but would need to restack them when we needed something out of them.
There is a hot water shower, but no hot water from the sink. There’s no bathroom mirror. One other thing, when you sit down on the toilet, I can rest my chin on the sink.
The rental is actually a room within an apartment. Looks like an apartment that was subdivided into 6 rooms. They are all independent, all have their own toilet and shower as described, but my room was located past a very narrow corridor, we had to walk sideways. The drains seems to be interconnected and you can hear the neighbors flush. The sound proofing is good didn’t hear any conversations.
Our rental was located right next to an alley and it is very noisy in the morning. Sounded like garbage is hauled out daily. Once in a while we would smell the food exhaust, but they are very brief. We arrived the day after Chinese New Year and everything was closed, so the apartment was actually quite pleasant, but when everything picked up there is a lot of activity.
Brendan is very attentive, but he manages a lot of properties, so uncommon items can be missed sometimes. They have towels and toiletries available all the time. I asked for an extra blanket and key that never arrived. The weather got warm and it was toward the end of our trip, so I never bothered reminding him. We had the heater on all night full blast. The room is muggy, so I would recommend changing towels every few days.
The wifi is a little spotty, I would get a strong signal one minute, but then would completely drop. I had a mobile hot spot and the cell reception was solid so I never bothered asking him to address the wifi situation.
Finally, there is one really weird doorman. He stares at you when you enter, even after seeing him two weeks straight every single day. He stares at you like he never seen you. The other 4 are very friendly thou.
Again solid rental will definitely come back.
First of all, you get what you paid for - the room is quite small for two people, but it's definitely a very good location (MTR, tram and ferry terminal are within walking distance).
The room has great amenities, very clean and cute, so I enjoyed my stay there and will recommend the place for travellers who spend most of the time walking and experiencing HK.
Brandon had great directions to the place and obtaining keys was easy. First time using AirBnB. Place was clean. No complaints here.
Very good location, but room is very small and a real squeeze for 2 people to stay in. No wardrobes, or even hooks or hangars to store clothes.
But otherwise very clean and you get what you pay for.
The apartment is very small, but two people are placed. Everything is clean and comfortable and very compact, like everything else in Hong Kong. apartment is conveniently located. Nearby there is seven eleven. MRT, tram, central area within walking distance, which is very convenient. everything was perfect! will recommend to friends
This was a cute, compact, clean unit and had great amenities. There is a convenience store nearby and Soho and the MTR are a pleasant walk away. TIP: Don't wait in the eternal taxi line at Hong Kong Station. Go outside and hail a taxi from the street.
This apartment accommodated my sister and I for 3 nights in HK. Meeting up with Brendan on our first day was very easy once I arrived and called him. The room was small, like I expected all places in HK to be, but it was still bearable for the two of us and most importantly--clean. There was a t.v., fridge, microwave, AC, electric fan, and even plates and cups which was more than necessary. I also didn't appreciate how awesome the neighborhood was until the end of our trip when I realized how local and peaceful from the busy touristy districts our streets were. Overall, this was a great budget-friendly place to stay in while visiting HK.
We stayed at the harbor front apartment in Sheung Wan. It was a convenient location, steps from the tram that could take you into Central, and a half mile from the Sheung Wan MTR station. The apartment was small, but clean, quiet, and the aircon definitely came in handy. We never met Brendan, but it was very easy to communicate with his relatives for anything that we needed. The bathroom was quite small, which wasn't a problem for me, but my taller boyfriend felt it was too small. Instructions were very clear and helpful, and the guidebooks and maps in the apartment were handy. Good value, even with the small size.
