Come stay at the Dome Asylum hippie homestead! Eggs and veggies come from straight from the yard. In addition to the fruit trees and aquaponic garden, the Dome features several cactus gardens, a meditation trail, and a natural pool/hot tub.
The Dome Asylum is a geodesic dome built in 1986. It’s natural landscaping, beautiful cacti, and remote location make it stand out. From the moment you pass through the gate, you can feel the retreat-like vibe of the place.
The Master BR suit has a locking door, en suite bath and attached balcony. The VIP guest room has a locking door, detached bath and a view of the front cactus garden.
Additional guests are accommodated by either a king size mattress in the poolside cabana (outside) and/or an air mattress to be set up in the house. (linens provided for all sleeping options)
The 3rd bath is shared and located in the outdoor pool house.
Guests will have exclusive access to the house and front yard/cactus garden.
The side and back yards, as well as the pool/patio area, may be shared with other guests staying on the property.
The hot tub is available by request with advance notice. This is due to the unique nature of our natural pool/spa system.

Wylie and I usually stay on site (yet out of sight) to care for our animals and garden. We make sure to give our guests plenty of privacy, and are available by phone/text to answer any questions during your stay.
Altre cose da evidenziare
Please know that our pool is a natural pool with plants and fish in it. We even have snorkels and masks for you to borrow!
We also have a pellet stove for the unusual chilly evenings. Not quite a fireplace, but still charming and warm!
We are laid-back, friendly and welcoming. We hope our guests are the same.
There are only a couple of rules...
No tobacco smoking in the house. Please smoke outside and use the provided ashtrays. Thanks!
No dogs are allowed on the property. We have chickens that are way too tempting for visiting dogs and Bailey is a Golden Chow who doesn't always play well with other dogs. If you think yours is an exception, please ask!
