L'alloggio

We live in a new single level town house with central heating and cooling which is perfect in the scorching summer and freezing winters. You will have a comfy queen bed in a newly carpeted bedroom with full size wardrobe. Come home to a clean, light and airy open plan living area with a couch and decent TV along with fully equipped kitchen which you are welcome to use. Will consider pets.

As our guest you have your own private bathroom, toilet and bedroom which can be sectioned off by closing the doors you can see in the pictures if you would prefer some time alone. You have access to our fully equipped kitchen and washing machine if you need to. Plenty of on street parking is available.

We are available to meet guests either before or after business hours throughout the week, however we can be flexible and alternative times may be arranged so please feel free to ask. We will be able to provide you with some information about the town (i.e. maps and good places to wine and dine).

Il quartiere

We are in a very quite and safe area considering our centrality. We are about 10 minutes away from Lake Weroona and in the summer our streets in the neighbourhood are lined with beautiful oak trees.

Un giro nei dintorni

We are a 4.5 minute walk to Percy and Percy; a very popular cafe for your morning coffee. Walk on another 10 minutes and you are in the middle of Bendigo. We are about a 2.5 minute walk from the Bendigo Talking Tram depot and museum and literally across the road from the Bendigo Woollen Mills. A taxi to the train station would be about $10 depending on the time of the day and usually you would wait no longer than 10 minutes for a taxi if you are headed out to dinner or a bar.

Altre cose da evidenziare

We do live next to a train line which supports Vline and freight trains. Generally there is one early predawn train but the others should not be too noticeable as they are throughout the day.
We do not have WIFI or a land line phone so you may have to rely on your mobile device.

Claire and partner are a lovely, welcoming young couple. The townhouse is brand new, bright and clean. The bedroom and bathroom are quite separate from the host's so it is very private and no need to share facilities. It is quiet as it is on the edge of town but it is close enough to walk to everything. Claire provided a wonderful recommendation for breakfast -"Percy and Percy"- just down the road.

Claire was excellent in her communication with us, right from the moment we booked. Her accommodation was perfect - the house was clean and tidy. Our area was terrific - we had the ability to close off our section for privacy. The bed was very comfortable, our own bathroom was terrific. Wonderful rain shower and spacious. Claire was very welcoming and recommended an excellent restaurant for our evening meal. If we ever have the opportunity to stay over in Bendigo again we will definitely stayed at Claire's again. Highly recommend!
