Elsa is by far the best host in Paris I've had. She's a local who knows her area well and gave me a lot of tips for my short day trip. Very central location, i walked for 2 minutes from the metro ( Sentier, though there was an another metro stop 5 minutes away also - Boulevard Sebastopol which is very connected) and was there immediately.
The apartment was exactly like the pictures depicted except even bigger, huge living room, dining area and kitchen. Seems to be refurbished recently and modern. Private bedroom with a very comfortable bed, I was provided with clean sheets and nice little touches for breakfast ( jam, bread, coffees, teas). The house was surprisingly warm in winter and I didn't even had to turn on the heating !
The bathroom was also very clean with a big comfortable bath that connected to the bedroom.
Though I didn't spend much time in the flat it was very spacious with big windows facing a little square just below that had very nice cafes and bars around. Neighboring area "Strasbourg St Denis" & the 9th were all close by. Even though it's centrally located it's actually very quiet in the night which was perfect after all the walking around I did. ( Places like the Lourve, Palais Royal & the Tullieries are all within walking distance)
If you're creatively inclined, Elsa is a photographer also who grew up in the city and had many local non-touristy recommendations.
Hospitable, polite and very friendly. I'd definitely come back to stay here again and recommend it to friends for the value ! It was a shame that I couldn't stay for longer as Elsa and her apartment definitely is very inviting.
