The cabin sits on over 5 acres of beautiful Montana countryside. Conveniently located off US Highway 93 West, your retreat is only 7 miles to downtown Whitefish, 45 miles from the Canada border (Roosville), and a quick 30 miles to Glacier National Park.
Biking and hiking trails are mere minutes from the cabin. A short bike ride down Beaver Lake Road leads you to the Whitefish Bike Retreat, 19 acres of wilderness bordering the Whitefish Trail System.
Internationally-acclaimed golf course, Whitefish Lake Golf Club, is located less than 6 miles from the cabin, with Whitefish Mountain Resort (for all you skiing and mountain biking fans) only 14 miles way.
Montana is known for its world-class fishing. For those who love to fish, numerous streams and tributaries are nearby, as are several lakes, including Murray Lake (3 miles), Beaver Lake (6 miles), Stillwater Lake (8 miles), Whitefish Lake (10 miles) Dog Lake (13 miles), Tally Lake (14 miles).
As of June 2016, the home has undergone an entire remodel, and is ready for you! The cabin sleeps 8-10, and comes fully equipped.
With 6 large, comfortable beds, and three high-quality and immediately inflatable queen size air mattresses, there's no lack of comfy sleeping arrangements! (One King, Two queens, one bunk bed (twin and Queen), Queen sofa sleeper.
Two bathrooms (two showers and one bathtub).

Guests may access the entire property excluding the detached garage.

Welcome to the cabin!
Any smoking please do outside, with windows closed. There will be a non refundable $500 fee for any party determined to have been smoking in the cabin.
Please use aluminum foil while grilling on bbq to maintain cleanliness of grill. If grill becomes dirty after your stay, please clean or there will be $25 fee.
Please no jumping on the beds or rough horseplay on them.
We are on septic, so please do not put any large or difficult-to-mash-up items down the sink.
Please bring garbage to outside garbage by garage and weigh down with Rock or bungee cords (if available).
Please be cognizant and courteous of our friendly neighbors who, although not too close to the cabin,
will still be within earshot of loud voices and partying, particularly in the hot tub. Please be respectful, particularly during "sleeping hours."
During winter months, we will plow the drive prior to your arrival. The owner is responsible for the first plow. Should it snow sufficiently to warrant a second or subsequent plow, please let us know and we will contact a local plow guy to handle for you.
- re the fireplace/stove:
Please make sure the flue is open before lighting. Start fires towards the back of the fireplace otherwise it might get smoky in there. Hold the rod forward to get it going- pull it towards you.
- hot tub: if you go in the hot tub please make sure the lights strung on the outside of the cabin on the porch by the hot tub there are unplugged otherwise the circuit breaker might get tripped.
- please don't wear snow boots in the house otherwise we may have to seek a damage fee if there's floor damage.
Terms of Rental Agreement
Check in and check out dates and times of this agreement must be adhered to.
The Primary Renter (Responsible Party) must be there throughout the rental period (no proxy rentals).
Pets are allowed ONLY with agreement of owner (see additional Pet Policy/Fee).
Smoking outside only please.
There will be an extra fee is excess dirtiness is found after guests leave.
There will be a $25.00 cash fee charged for any lost/unreturned key. There will be a $25.00 charge if it is determined aluminum foil was not used on the grill, and/or that even a cursory cleaning of the grill was not undertaken.
House is on septic. No large or bulky food items down garbage disposal please.
No jumping on log beds please.
Violations of these Terms of Agreement will be grounds for immediate eviction and renter will forfeit all monies paid, including all damage deposits held.
