Lovely, fully-furnished, ground-level apartment in our home in a quiet, relaxed West Hill neighborhood. TOTAL KITCHEN REMODEL, completed in July 2016! Separate entrance, no shared spaces with owners, combination living room/bedroom with queen-sized bed, plus a futon that can accommodate two should you need more sleeping space. Ideal for one or two guests. Kitchen, dining room, full bath and office, in addition to your own private patio overlooking our tree-filled backyard. Lots of room to spread out, which makes it a fine place for extended stays, too. Wi-Fi, HD TV, DVD player and DVDs (no cable TV), free on-street parking. Self-serve breakfast with coffee, tea, juice, granola, yogurt, fruit, and healthy snacks provided. All linens are provided, too. We are one block from the bus line, and only 1.5 miles to the Ithaca Commons. Convenient to Ithaca's West End attractions, including the Waterfront Trail, Island Fitness Center, Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca Bakery, Maxie's Supper Club, The Westy, Boatyard Grill, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants, Wegmans supermarket (recently voted #1 grocery store chain in the U.S.), the Hangar Theatre, the Kitchen Theatre, and the State Diner. Just minutes by car to Cornell and Ithaca College. No smoking, no pets. Please note that during Cornell graduation weekend, the weekly rate does not apply, and at least a three-night minimum stay is required. Feel free to email us with any questions. We hope to see you soon! (P.S. Kiplinger magazine named Ithaca as one of the Top 10 places to live in the U.S.! Check out the article on the Kiplinger website.)

Minimal interaction with guests, although we enjoy helping out if guests have questions or need something that is not in the apartment already.
No smoking, no pets. The only other rule is to enjoy your stay! And please let us know if you need anything. We would be happy to either provide what you need or direct you to where you might find it.
Albert and I are pleased that you are considering a stay in our lovely apartment. We are both healthcare professionals; he is an RN, and I am a medical social worker in oncology and Palliative Care. Both of us enjoy music, traveling, gardening, socializing with friends, and sports. (We are lifelong Yankee fans, but do enjoy a friendly "discussion" with Red Sox fans now and then!) We have lived in the Ithaca area for decades, and would love to offer information and suggestions for the best that Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region can offer you during your stay. There is always something fun and interesting happening in Ithaca, every season of the year!
