This was my very first AirBnB experience and I have to say, the bar has been set very high now. The entire experience from reservation through checking out was flawless. Carrie is a wonderful host who clearly wants to be sure her visitors are comfortable and at home. Her house is beautiful, immaculate, and cozy. Even her beautiful dog was welcoming. Carrie stayed in close communication with me and answered all questions quickly. The location is very convenient to Cornell and the downtown area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay the next time I'm in Ithaca. You should too!

This is a lovely secluded quant house right on the edge of the University and ~15 mins walk from Johnson college. Carrie was very caring, and had no problems driving me to the bus stop at 530 in the morning because I was running late! And of course, her dog Hamilton is such a friendly and gentle giant. So I had booked a room and since there were no other guests, I had the entire upper floor (3 rooms) to myself with no interference from Carrie. The bed was very clean and comfortable and I had a great sleep. Bathroom was also very clean with fresh towels and adequate toiletries. I especially recommend it to anyone visiting the university, for the location and the price - this was at a steep discount to what was being offered at the closest hotel on campus.

Carrie created a home away form home during my month long stay in Ithaca. We are like minded people and became friends. She knew when to give me space and when to reach out. Hammy is a lovable dog and has complemented my stay with his friendliness. The location is perfect and within walking distance to Cornell University.

Thank goodness for Carrie! The warmest southern hostess in the cold clime of Ithaca NY. Carrie went out of her way to make me comfortable in her cozy cottage VERY close to campus. This is a GREAT place for visiting Cornell University she has room for individual travelers or visiting parents and you can walk easily to campus. The house is large enough to accommodate a family, authentic local architecture in a lovely neighborhood.

Carrie and Hamilton were in the front yard when we arrived and were more than welcoming. Actually, Hamilton happily got out of the car to greet us. He's a 3-year old Newfoundland and sooo lovable. We were shown into the house and made very comfortable in our room that had two twin beds and a sofa to relax on. The accommodations were comfortable and we enjoyed our visit. The proximity to Cornell is perfect. You could even walk to North Campus with ease.
